Whoever does it or to whom it is done, evil remains evil. It is to be avoided and to be fought.

« Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. »(Romans 12:21)

You will overcome evil with good if, by returning good for evil, you transform a relationship of hostility into a relationship of love.
And even if you do not obtain this result, you will not have allowed yourself to be overcome by evil, which would have been the case if you had been led, by the evil you suffered, to do evil, that means to revenge.
Whereas, if you remain firm in good, which is forgiveness of offenses and love, good triumphs over evil in you; and you contribute, for your part, to his final triumph in the world.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to always overcome evil with good.

Quel que soit celui qui le fait ou celui à qui il est fait, le mal reste le mal. Il est à éviter et à combattre.

« Ne te laisse pas vaincre par le mal, mais surmonte le mal par le bien. »(Romains 12:21)

Tu surmonteras le mal par le bien si, en rendant le bien pour le mal, tu transformes une relation d’hostilité en une relation d’amour.
Et si même tu n’obtiens pas ce résultat, tu ne te seras pas laissé surmonter par le mal, ce qui aurait été le cas si tu avais été entraîné, par le mal que tu as souffert, à faire le mal, c’est-à-dire à te venger.
Tandis que, si tu restes ferme dans le bien, qui est le pardon des offenses et l’amour, le bien triomphe du mal en toi ; et tu concours, pour ta part, à son triomphe final dans le monde.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à toujours surmonter le mal par le bien.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

What is it for a man to curse those whom God has not cursed or has blessed.
It has no effect.

This is why Balaam refused to curse Jacob.
He said:
« How shall I curse someone whom God has not cursed, how denounce someone God has not denounced? »(Numbers 23:8)

Indeed Jacob was blessed by God.
If Balaam had dared to try to curse him, this curse would have had no effect.
It is the same for those who curse or denounce us, their words have no effect on our life.
Only the Word of God has an impact on our lives.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, give us to never curse or denounce others.

Qu’est-ce que c’est pour un homme de maudire ceux que Dieu n’a pas maudits ou a bénis.
Cela n’a aucun effet.

C’est pourquoi Balaam a refusé de maudire Jacob.
Il a dit:
« Comment maudirais-je celui que Dieu n’a point maudit? Comment serais-je irrité quand l’Éternel n’est point irrité? »(Nombres 23:8)

En effet, Jacob avait été béni par Dieu.
Si Balaam avait osé essayer de le maudire, cette malédiction n’aurait eu aucun effet.
Il en est de même pour ceux qui nous maudissent ou s’irritent contre nous; leurs paroles n’ont aucun effet sur notre vie.
Seule la Parole de Dieu a un impact sur nos vies.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne jamais maudire les autres ou s’irriter contre eux .
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

On the day that five kings of the Amorites with all their armies attacked the children of Israel at Gibeon, Joshua said in the presence of Israel:
« O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon. »(Joshua 10:12)
And though the sun was about to set, the sun « stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. »(Joshua 10:13)

As the momentum of battle was to their advantage, Joshua wanted « the sun to stand still » so that he could completely rout his enemies and not give them time to regroup. They were routed and experienced a great defeat.

However, it is important to note that although Joshua was unaware that the sun does not actually rotate, rather the earth revolves around the sun, God still honored his faith and answered his prayer.
God then stopped the earth to fulfill Joshua’s request.
This means that even when our faith confessions may not always be perfect, God knows what we want and still honors our hope and our faith in Him.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, give us the courage to ask you anything we want.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
