Did you know that we are at war?
We are involved in a fight against Satan and his favorite targets are not people who serve him, but rather born again Christians because they annoy him.

Fortunately, God has given us all the weapons we need to give us victory over the enemy!
« For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God… »(Ephesians 6:13-18)

Although Satan attacks us by all means: by misfortunes, injustices, illnesses, accidents, slander, slander, by bad thoughts, layoffs at work, poverty and by temptations difficult to escape, we need not be impressed by his shenanigans.
Rather, we need to be concerned about our relationship with Jesus and his work on the cross. If we realize our restored authority through Jesus, confidence will grow in our spirit and we will not be intimidated by the devil and his shenanigans.

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, give us to know how to fight well against Satan and his demons.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Saviez-vous que nous sommes en guerre?
Nous sommes impliqués dans un combat contre Satan et ses cibles préférées ne sont pas des personnes qui le servent, mais plutôt des chrétiens nés de nouveau parce qu’ils l’énervent.

Heureusement, Dieu nous a donné toutes les armes dont nous avons besoin pour nous donner la victoire sur l’ennemi!
« C’est pourquoi, prenez toutes les armes de Dieu, afin de pouvoir résister dans le mauvais jour, et tenir ferme après avoir tout surmonté. Tenez donc ferme: ayez à vos reins la vérité pour ceinture; revêtez la cuirasse de la justice; mettez pour chaussure à vos pieds le zèle que donne l’Évangile de paix; prenez par-dessus tout cela le bouclier de la foi, avec lequel vous pourrez éteindre tous les traits enflammés du malin; prenez aussi le casque du salut, et l’épée de l’Esprit, qui est la parole de Dieu… »(Ephésiens 6:13-18)

Bien que Satan nous attaque par toutes les voies: par des malheurs, des injustices, des maladies, des accidents, des calomnies, des médisances, par des mauvaises pensées, des licenciements au travail, la pauvreté et par des tentations difficiles à échapper, nous n’avons pas à être impressionnés par ses manigances.
Nous devons plutôt nous préoccuper de notre relation avec Jésus et de son oeuvre sur la croix. Si nous prenons conscience de notre autorité restaurée à travers Jésus, la confiance grandira dans notre esprit et nous ne serons pas intimidés par le diable et ses manigances.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de savoir bien combattre contre Satan et ses démons.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Of the three enemies of man, namely the flesh, the world and the devil, the devil is our common enemy with God.
He hated God before hating us, he rebelled against God before inciting us to rebel against Him(our God) and he wants to distance us from God our Father.

In the Bible, « devil » means « the one who divides ». He is also called Satan, Beelzebub, the Evil One. He attacks us in our flesh and uses the men he has managed to deceive to lure us into the world he rules, in order to manipulate us into submission to love and to do evil and sin.
This is why the word of God tells us:
« Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. »(1 Peter 5:8-9)
And indeed, we can resist him by Christ who strengthens us.
If we resist him with the weapons of God (Ephesians 6:11-18), the devil does not resist us, he flees us:
« Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. »(James 4:7)

PRAYER :
Our Father in heaven, we thank you that Jesus has delivered us from Satan’s world system. Give us the strength to always resist the temptations of the devil.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Des trois ennemis de l’homme, à savoir la chair, le monde et le diable, le diable est notre ennemi commun avec Dieu.
Il a haï Dieu avant de nous haïr, il s’est rebellé contre Dieu avant de nous inciter à nous rebeller contre Lui(notre Dieu) et il veut nous éloigner de Dieu notre Père.

Dans la Bible, « diable » veut dire « celui qui divise ». On l’appelle aussi Satan, Belzébuth, le Malin. Il nous attaque dans notre chair et utilise les hommes qu’il a réussi à tromper pour nous attirer dans le monde qu’il dirige, afin de nous manipuler et de nous soumettre à aimer et à faire le mal et le péché.
C’est pourquoi la parole de Dieu nous dit:
« Soyez sobres, veillez. Votre adversaire, le diable, rôde comme un lion rugissant, cherchant qui il dévorera. Résistez-lui avec une foi ferme, sachant que les mêmes souffrances sont imposées à vos frères dans le monde. »(1 Pierre 5:8-9)
Et effectivement, nous pouvons lui résister grâce à Christ qui nous fortifie.
Si nous lui resistons avec les armes de Dieu(Ephésiens 6:11-18), le diable lui ne nous résiste pas, il nous fuit:
« Soumettez-vous donc à Dieu; résistez au diable, et il fuira loin de vous. »(Jacques 4:7)

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, nous vous remercions de ce que Jésus nous a délivrés du système mondial de Satan. Donnez-nous la force de toujours résister aux tentations du diable.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Man has three terrible enemies: the flesh, the world and the devil.
When the Bible speaks of the « world », what does it mean?

The Bible uses the term « world » in three senses:
1. To designate the earth, which God created.
« The earth is the LORD’S, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it »(Psalms 24:1)
But the earth is not our enemy.
2. To refer to people.
« For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son… »(John 3:16)
But people are not our enemies.
3. « The world » refers to the world system that that Satan rules against God and for the purpose of making men slaves to sin. This is our enemy!
« Do not love the world or anything in the world… »(1John 2:15)

Indeed, in the beginning, God had entrusted Adam with the government of the world (see Genesis 1:26-30), but from the moment Adam sinned, he sided with Satan, and placed the government of the world under his authority.
« …the whole world is under the control of the evil one(Satan). »(1John 5:19)
Satan organizes the affairs of this life into a « world system » based on money, sinful pleasures, covetousness, selfishness, greed and pride.
« For everything in the world–the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does–comes not from the Father but from the world. »(1John 2:16)
Only those who believe in Jesus as their King and Savior can escape from this system or kingdom of Satan.

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, give us the strength to resist the various solicitations of the world.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
