If man hides himself to commit certain sins, it is to protect his notoriety in his community and deceive those who respect him.

But do we necessarily have to deceive?

Indeed, it is in vain that we try to deceive our friends, our neighbours, our colleagues, our brothers and sisters because they end up revealing or discovering us although they do not always dare to tell us.

In addition, although we hide ourselves, our God Himself sees us.
He says:
« I am the Lord who search the heart, and prove the reins: who give to every one according to his way, and according to the fruit of his devices. »(Jeremiah 17:10)
And He adds:
« These things hast thou done, and I was silent. Thou thoughtest unjustly that I should be like to thee: but I will reprove thee, and set before thy face. »(Psalms 50:21)

Why then do we have to deceive?
It is in vain.
It is better to seek integrity in the eyes of God than in the eyes of men.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to be upright in your eyes and in the eyes of men.

Si l’homme se cache pour commettre certains péchés, c’est pour protéger sa notoriété dans sa communauté et tromper ceux qui le respectent.

Mais devons-nous nécessairement tromper?

En effet, c’est en vain que nous tentons de tromper nos amis, nos voisins, nos collègues, nos frères et soeurs parce qu’ils finissent par nous dévoiler ou nous découvrir bien qu’ils n’osent pas toujours nous le dire.

En plus, quoique nous nous cachions, notre Dieu Lui, nous voit.
Il dit:
« Moi, l’Éternel, j’éprouve le coeur, je sonde les reins, Pour rendre à chacun selon ses voies, Selon le fruit de ses oeuvres. »(Jérémie 17:10)
Et Il ajoute:
« Voilà ce que tu as fait, et je me suis tu. Tu t’es imaginé que je te ressemblais; Mais je vais te reprendre, et tout mettre sous tes yeux. »(Psaumes 50:21)

Pourquoi alors devons-nous tromper?
C’est en vain.
Il vaut mieux chercher à être intègres aux yeux de Dieu qu’aux yeux des hommes.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous d’être intègres à vos yeux qu’aux yeux des hommes.

Ariko ni kuki tugomba kubeshya?

Byongeye, n’ubwo twihisha, Imana yacu yo ubwayo iratubona.

« Jye Uwiteka ni jye urondora umutima nkawugerageza, nkitura umuntu wese ibihwanye n’inzira ze, uko imbuto ziva mu mirimo ye ziri. »(Yeremiya 17:10)
Kandi irongera ikagira iti:
« Ibyo bintu wabikoze, ndaceceka. Watekereje kurenganya ko ngomba kumera nkawe, ariko nzagucyaha, mbishyire imbere yawe. »(Zaburi 50:21)

Kuki noneho tugomba kubeshya?
N’iby’ubusa.
Nibyiza gushaka ubunyangamugayo imbere y’Imana kuruta kubushakira imbere y’abantu.

Muvy’ukuri, n’ivy’ubusa ko tugerageza kubesha abagenzi bacu, ababanyi bacu, abo dukorana, n’abo tuvukana kuko baruhira kuduhinyura n’ubwo bihorera ntibabitubwire.

Vyongeye, n’ubwo twihisha, Imana yacu yo ubwayo iratubona.
Ivuga iti:
« Ni jewe Uhoraho nsesa umutima, nkagerageza umushaha, kugira ngo ngerere umuntu wese ibikwiranye n’ingeso ziwe, n’ibikwiranye n’ivy’ ibikorwa vyiwe vyeze. »(Yeremiya 17:10)
Kandi irongera ikavuga iti:
« Ivyo urabikora, nanje ngahora, Ukiyumvira yuko mpwanye nawe rwose: Ariko nzoguhana, mbishire imbere y’amaso yawe, uko bikurikirana. »(Zaburi 50:21)

Some of us claim that they are sinless, that it is others who are sinners!
They deceive themselves!

No one is without sin.
Besides, the Word of God says that:
« If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. »(1John 1:8)

Let’s stop deceiving ourselves, rather be humble and confess our sins to get forgiveness for free.
« If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. »(1John 1:9)

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us a humble heart so that we could always confess our sins.

Certains parmi nous prétendent qu’ils sont sans péchés et que ce sont les autres qui sont pécheurs !
Qu’ils mentent !

Nul n’est sans péché.
D’ailleurs, la Parole de Dieu dit que:
« Si nous disons que nous sommes sans péché, nous nous séduisons nous-mêmes, et la vérité n’est point en nous. »(1 Jean 1:8)

Cessons de nous séduire nous-mêmes, humilions-nous plutôt et confessons nos péchés pour obtenir le pardon gratuitement.
« Si nous confessons nos péchés, Dieu est fidèle et juste pour nous les pardonner, et pour nous purifier de toute iniquité. »(1 Jean 1:9)

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous un coeur humble pour que nous soyions toujours disposés à confesser nos péchés.

The word of God urges us to test everything we hear and see, and hold on only to what is good.

« Test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil. »(1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 NIV)

We hear a lot of bad and good things, and we also see a lot of bad and good things.
But out of all that, we have to hold on to what is good.
To hold on to what is good is to reject every kind of evil, in any form, because evil destroys us mentally and emotionally and also destroys our relationships with others.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us wisdom to test all things and hold on to what is good in them.

La parole de Dieu nous exhorte à examiner tout ce que nous entendons et voyons pour n’y retenir que ce qui est bon.

« Examinez toutes choses; retenez ce qui est bon; abstenez-vous de toute espèce de mal. »(1 Thessaloniciens 5:21-22)

Nous entendons beaucoup de mauvaises et de bonnes choses, et nous voyons aussi beaucoup de mauvaises et de bonnes choses.
Mais en tout cela, nous devons retenir ce qui est bon seulement.
Retenir ce qui est bon, c’est en effet s’abstenir de tout mal, sous toutes ses formes, car le mal nous détruit mentalement et émotionnellement et détruit aussi nos relations avec les autres.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la sagesse d’examiner toutes choses et d’y retenir ce qui est bon.
