Dans le livre de Job, plus précisément au chapitre 28, verset 28, Job déclare:
«La crainte du Seigneur, c’est la sagesse, et s’éloigner du mal, c’est l’intelligence.»

Un homme sage n’est pas celui qui apparemment est timide ou réservée, passif, ou qui reste calme et posée même dans des situations stressantes. Non, un homme sage est celui qui craint Dieu son créateur.
Et la « crainte du Seigneur » n’est pas la peur au sens courant, mais une attitude de respect et d’adoration, reconnaissant la grandeur et la souveraineté de Dieu.
Comment une personne peut-elle prétendre être sage si elle ne respecte pas Dieu qui lui a donné la vie et la sagesse?
Cette personne serait plutôt un menteur.
C’est ce que nous devons comprendre.

Intelligent est seul celui qui sait et peut s’éloigner du mal.
Un homme intelligent n’est pas celui qui a pu accumuler beaucoup de connaissances ou qui sait parler avec une éloquence impressionnante.
Non, c’est plutôt une personne qui cherche à rester en bonnes relations avec Dieu son créateur, en évitant et en s’éloignant de tout péché parce qu’elle sait que Dieu déteste tout mal.
Comment est-ce qu’une personne pretendrait-elle intelligente si elle ne comprend pas que vivre dans le péché est honteux aux yeux de Dieu et aux yeux des hommes?
Ce serait se tromper soi-même.

Sois sage pour être intelligent!

Umuntu wajijutse mu by’ubuzima, n’uwamenye ko Imana yanga icyaha n’igisa nacyo, n’uwamenye kandi ko kugira ubusabane bwe n’Imana bukomeze kuba bwiza, agomba kuva mu byaha kuko bibabaza Imana.
Ese umuntu yaba ajijutse ate niba atarasobanukirwa ko kuba mu byaha bitey’isoni mu maso y’Imana no mu maso y’abantu?
Kwaba ari ukwibesha.

Gira ubwenge ubashe kujijuka!

Ahubwo uwo muntu yoba ar’ikijuju.
Ivyo nivyo dukwiriye gutahura.

Uwatahuye neza ivy’ubuzima, n’uwatahuye ko Imana yamuremye yanka icaha n’igisa naco, n’uwatahuye ko kugira umubano wiwe n’Imana ugume umeze neza, ategerezwa kuva mu vyaha kuko bibabaza Imana.
Mbega umuntu yoba yatahuye iki mu buzima nimba adatahura ko kuba mu vyaha biteye isoni imbere y’Imana n’abantu?
Kwoba ari ukwihenda.

Gira ubgenge kugira utahure!

During their forty-year journey in the desert after leaving Egypt, the Israelites experienced divine love and providence.

God reminds them:
« During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet. »(Deuteronomy 29:5)

If God was able to take care of the Israelites in such difficult conditions, He can also take care of those who trust Him today and especially those who agreed to become his children by believing in Jesus Christ.
We should then understand that our survival and well-being depend entirely on God and not on our own efforts or resources.

For those facing trials or times of difficulty today, this verse offers assurance that God is present and active, even in the driest times of our lives.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us complete confidence in your love and providence.

Pendant leur voyage de quarante ans dans le désert, après leur sortie d’Egypte, les Israélites ont expérimenté l’amour et la providence divines.

Dieu le leur rappelle :
« Je vous ai conduits pendant quarante ans dans le désert ; vos vêtements ne se sont point usés sur vous, et votre chaussure ne s’est point usée à votre pied. »(Deutéronome 29:5)

Si Dieu a pu prendre soin des Israélites dans des conditions aussi difficiles, Il peut également prendre soin de ceux qui Lui font confiance aujourd’hui et surtout de ceux qui ont accepté de devenir ses enfants en croyant en Jésus-Christ.
Nous devrions alors comprendre que notre survie et notre bien-être dépendent entièrement de Dieu et non de nos propres efforts ou ressources.

Pour ceux qui traversent aujourd’hui des épreuves ou des périodes de difficulté, ce verset offre une assurance que Dieu est présent et actif, même dans les moments les plus arides de nos vies.

Imana irabibibutsa:

Niba Imana yarashoboye kwita kubisiraheli mubihe bigoye, irashobora kandi kwita kubayizera uyu munsi cyane cyane abemeye kuba abana bayo mu kwizera Yesu Kristo nk’Umwami n’Umukiza wabo.
Tugomba noneho kumva ko kubaho kwacu no kumererwa neza kwacu gushingiye gusa ku Mana aho gushingira ku mbaraga zacu.

Kubahura n’ibigeragezo cyangwa ibihe by’ingorabahizi muri iki gihe, uyu murongo utanga ibyiringiro ko Imana iriho kandi ikora, ndetse no mu bihe by’ubutayu mu buzima bwacu.
