2.Lack of discernment:
Children often lack the ability to discern right from wrong or understand the consequences of their actions (Hebrews 5:13-14).
3.Selfishness and self-centeredness:
Children tend to be self-centered, often seeking to satisfy their own desires without considering the needs of others (Philippians 2:3-4).
4.Ignorance and lack of wisdom:
Children lack knowledge and wisdom, and are often impressionable (Proverbs 4:7).
5.Spiritual instability:
Children can be easily led astray from their faith or spiritual commitment (1 Corinthians 14:20).

« Quand j’étais enfant, je parlais comme un enfant, je pensais comme un enfant, je raisonnais comme un enfant; lorsque je suis devenu homme, j’ai fait disparaître ce qui était de l’enfant. »(1 Corinthiens 13:11)

Quels sont ces comportements immatures à éviter?
Voici quelques exemples de ces comportements:
1.Instabilité émotionnelle:
Les enfants peuvent réagir de manière impulsive et émotionnelle, manquant de contrôle et de stabilité dans leurs réponses(Lire Éphésiens 4:14).
2.Manque de discernement:
Les enfants manquent souvent de la capacité à discerner le bien du mal ou à comprendre les conséquences de leurs actions(Hébreux 5:13-14).
3.Égoïsme et égocentrisme:
Les enfants ont tendance à être centrés sur eux-mêmes, cherchant souvent à satisfaire leurs propres désirs sans considérer les besoins des autres(Philippiens 2:3-4).
4.Ignorance et manque de sagesse:
Les enfants manquent de connaissance et de sagesse, et sont souvent influençables(Proverbes 4:7).

Do you know why you have not yet received what you always ask God through prayer?

Jesus himself said it:
« Very truly I tell to you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now, you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask, and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. »(John 16:23-24)

What then is the significance of this statement?
Indeed, since we have become children of God after having recognized Jesus Christ as our King and our Savior, God also recognizes us as his children in, by, or through Jesus Christ, to whom we belong.
Although this formula « in the name of Jesus » has become for many Christians very simple and meaningless, each time we say or repeat it, we should be aware that we are identifying ourselves before God, that we are testifying to God that we belong to Jesus Christ whom He gave us as the only intermediary between Him and us, « For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus. »(1 Timothy 2:5)
If we testify to God that we belong to Jesus Christ, God will give us in Jesus everything we ask of Him.

Si nous attestons à Dieu que nous appatenons à Jésus, Dieu nous donnera aussi en Jésus tout ce que nous lui demanderons.

What does Sunday mean to you?

For some, Sunday is a day of rest.
The Bible says that even God rested on the seventh day:
« By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work… »(Genesis 2:2-3)

For Christians, Sunday has a deep meaning: It is God’s day, because it is the day of the victory of our lord Jesus Christ, « Dies Dominicus » in Latin.

Just as on the seventh day God had finished the work he had done in creation, so it is also on the seventh day, that is to say on the first day after the Sabbath (Saturday), that God had finished his work of redeeming the world through the resurrection of Jesus.(Read Matthew 28:1-6, Mark 16:1-6, Luke 24:1-6, John 20:1)

Thus, from Christian Latin, the word « Dies Dominicus » evolved through the old French « diemenche » to finally become « Dimanche » in modern French, which is translated into English as « Sunday ».

More than just a day of rest, each Sunday should be for us a day of commemoration of the victory of Jesus Christ.
Every Sunday we should always remember that death has been defeated, that it no longer has power over us; that we are exempt from giving sacrifices as a means of atonement for sins, because Jesus was a unique and sufficient sacrifice(Read Hebrews 10:10-12), and that we are no longer under the law, rather that we are under the grace of God in the new covenant established on the cross.
