When God entrusted Zerubbabel with the responsibility of rebuilding the temple of Jerusalem until its completion, despite his weakness and that of his nation, without strength and without an army, Zerubbabel saw before him a work that seemed impossible to accomplish, comparable to an insurmountable mountain.

« What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground… »(Zechariah 4:7)

Yet, because of the power of the Spirit of God working in him, this mountain had to be transformed into a plain.
Our mountains are all these problems, these difficult situations, these chronic illnesses or this suffering, which we believe to be insurmountable.
Instead of being cornered and accepting them as normal by saying it’s « my illness », « my problem », « my fault », etc., we should instead reject them in the name of Jesus. All we need is to have faith.
Jesus tells us:
« Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. »(Mark 11:23)

Indeed, as children of God, whatever we ask in faith, we must receive it.
Let us always remember that since we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior and therefore become children of God, we have the power to command, in faith, all things to obey us.
So let’s face everything that comes before us and order everything that seems like mountains before us to flatten itself.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant that we may always command our mountains to become plains before us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Lorsque Dieu confia à Zorobabel la responsabilité de reconstruire le temple de Jérusalem jusqu’à sa bonne fin, malgré sa faiblesse et celle de sa nation, sans force et sans armée, Zorobabel voyait devant lui une œuvre qui lui paraissait impossible à accomplir, comparable à une montagne insurmontable.

« Qui es-tu, grande montagne, devant Zorobabel? Tu seras aplanie… »(Zacharie 4:7)

Pourtant, à cause de la puissance de l’Esprit de Dieu agissant en lui, cette montagne a dû être transformée en plaine.
Nos montagnes, sont tous ces problèmes, ces situations difficiles, ces maladies chroniques ou ces souffrances, que nous croyons insurmontables.
Au lieu d’être acculés et de les accepter comme étant normaux en disant c’est « ma maladie », « mon problème », « mon défaut », etc., nous devrions plutôt les rejeter dans le nom de Jésus. Il nous suffit seulement d’avoir la foi.
Jésus nous dit:
« Je vous le dis en vérité, si quelqu’un dit à cette montagne: Ote-toi de là et jette-toi dans la mer, et s’il ne doute point en son coeur, mais croit que ce qu’il dit arrive, il le verra s’accomplir. »(Marc 11:23)

En effet, en tant qu’enfants de Dieu, tout ce que nous demandons avec foi, nous devons le recevoir.
Souvenons-nous toujours que, depuis que nous avons accepté Jésus comme notre Seigneur et notre Sauveur et que nous sommes par conséquent devenus des enfants de Dieu, nous avons le pouvoir d’ordonner, avec foi, toutes les choses à nous obéir.
Alors faisons face à tout ce qui s’interpose devant nous et ordonnons à tout ce qui paraît comme des montagnes devant nous de de s’aplanir.

PRIERE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de toujours commander à nos montagnes de devenir des plaines devant nous.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Yesu aratubwira ati:
« Ndababwira ukuri yuko umuntu wese wabwira uyu musozi ati ‘Shinguka utabwe mu nyanja’, ntashidikanye mu mutima we, yizeye yuko icyo avuze gikorwa yakibona. »(Mariko 11:23)

Muby’ukuri, nk’abana b’Imana, ibyo dusaba byose mu kwizera, tugomba kubibona.
Duhore twibuka ko, kuva twakiriye Yesu nk’Umwami n’umukiza wacyu, tukaba abana b’Imana, dufise uburenganzira bwo gutegeka mu kwizera, ibintu byose bikatwumvira.
Reka noneho duhangane n’ibiduhanze byose, dutegeke ibyari nk’imisozi imbere yacu bihinduke ibiyaya.

If you have killed and justice does not pursue you,
If you stole or cheated and were never caught,
If you lied to people and were never exposed,
If you have stole or cheated and were neve caught,
Stop.
If you have not been prosecuted by the courts, if you have not been arrested like others always are, or if you have not been infected with AIDS, do not think that you are an extraordinary person or that you are wiser or that you know how to protect yourself better than others.
No, it’s simply because God has been patient with you, wanting you to repent.

« The Lord… Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. »(2 Peter 3:9)

Indeed, by the grace of God, you have enjoyed a patience that others who have sinned like you have not enjoyed.
You must be aware of this and understand that God has waited a long time for you to have time to repent.
Do not continue to abuse God’s patience, repent today and right now.
« In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. »(Acts of the Apostles 17:30)

PRAYER :
Lord our God, give us the strength and courage to repent.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Si vous avez tué et que la justice ne vous poursuit pas,
Si vous avez volé ou triché et que vous n’avez jamais été attrapé,
Si vous avez menti les gens et que vous n’avez jamais été démasqué,
Si vous avez fait l’adultère et que vous n’avez pas n’avez pas contracté le VIH,
Cessez.
Si vous n’avez pas été poursuivi par la Justice, si vous n’avez pas été arrêté comme les autres le sont toujours, ou si vous n’avez pas été infecté par le SIDA, ne pensez pas que vous êtes une personne extraordinaire ou que vous êtes plus sage ou que vous savez comment vous protéger mieux que les autres.
Ce n’est pas parce que vous êtes extraordinaire,
Ce n’est pas non plus parce que vous êtes plus malin ou plus prudent que les autres.
Non, c’est tout simplement parce que Dieu a été patient envers vous, voulant que vous vous repentiez.

« Le Seigneur… use de patience envers vous, ne voulant pas qu’aucun périsse, mais voulant que tous arrivent à la repentance. »(2 Pierre 3:9)

En effet, par la grâce de Dieu, vous avez joui d’une patience que les autres qui ont péché comme vous n’ont pas joui.
Vous devez en être conscient et comprendre que Dieu a longuement patienté pour que vous ayez le temps de vous repentir.
Ne continuez pas à abuser de la patience de Dieu, repentez-vous aujourd’hui et maintenant même.
« Dieu, sans tenir compte des temps d’ignorance, annonce maintenant à tous les hommes, en tous lieux, qu’ils aient à se repentir. »(Actes des Apôtres 17:30)

Three Jewish men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, grew wise and respected as highly appointed officials in Babylon.
But, for having refused to bow down before a golden image and worship it, as King Nebuchadnezzar had ordered everyone, they were thrown into the fiery furnace heated seven times hotter than usual.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had faith that God would save them.
« If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it. »(Daniel 3:17)

Indeed, when King Nebuchadnezzar looked into the fire, he saw four men walking around in the furnace unharmed – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and another man.
He said, « Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods. »(Daniel 3:25)

King Nebuchadnezzar brought the young men out of the flames, promoted them to a higher office, and decreed that the God of Israel be worshipped.

So, who was that fourth man?
It was Jesus himself.
Our fire may be difficulties and trials or other misfortunes, but if Jesus is with us, whatever fire we may go through will have no effect on us.
If then we believe in Jesus and can confess with faith like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that « if we go through difficulties and trials or other misfortunes, Jesus who is with us is able to deliver us from them », Jesus will not disappoint us, he will stay with us and the fire of difficulties or trials can never burn us.

PRAYER:
Eternal Father, grant us to always trust you in difficulties and trials.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
