Trois hommes juifs, Shadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego, étaient sages et respectés en tant que fonctionnaires hautement nommés à Babylone.
Mais, pour avoir refusé de se prosterner devant une statue en or et de l’adorer, comme le roi Nabuchodonosor l’avait ordonné à tout le monde, ils furent jetés dans la fournaise ardente chauffée sept fois plus que d’habitude.
Shadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego avaient foi que Dieu les sauverait. Ils disaient:
« Notre Dieu que nous servons peut nous délivrer de la fournaise ardente. »(Daniel 3:17)

Effectivement, lorsque le roi Nabuchodonosor regarda dans le feu, il vit quatre hommes se promener indemnes dans la fournaise: Shadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego, ainsi qu’une quatrième personne.
Il dit: « Eh bien, je vois quatre hommes sans liens, qui marchent au milieu du feu, et qui n’ont point de mal; et la figure du quatrième ressemble à celle d’un fils des dieux. »(Daniel 3:25)

Le roi Nebucadnetsar sortit les jeunes hommes des flammes, les promut à une fonction plus élevée et décréta que le Dieu d’Israël soit adoré.

Alors, qui était ce quatrième homme?
C’était Jésus-Christ lui-même.
Notre feu peut être des difficultés et des épreuves ou d’autres malheurs, mais si Jésus est avec nous, quel que soit le feu que nous pouvons traverser, il n’aura aucun effet sur nous.
Si alors nous croyons en Jésus et pouvons confesser avec foi comme Shadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego, que « si nous traversons des difficultés et des épreuves ou d’autres malheurs, Jésus qui est avec nous, est capable de nous en délivrer », Jésus ne nous décevra pas, il restera avec nous et le feu des difficultés ou des épreuves ne pourra jamais nous brûler.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de toujours vous faire confiance dans les difficultés et dans les épreuves.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Umwami Nebukadinezari yahise akura abo bagabo mu muriro, abazamurwa mu ntera yo hejuru, anategeka ko Imana ya Isiraheli yasengwa.

None, uwo muntu wa kane yari nde?
Ni Yesu Kristo ubwe.
Umuriro wacu urashobora kuba ibibazo n’ibigeragezo cyangwa andi makuba, ariko niba Yesu ari kumwe natwe, umuriro uwo ari wo wose dushobora kunyuramo ntacyo uzatugiraho.

Umwami Nebukadinezari yaciye akura abo bagabo mu muriro, abashinga amabanga ahambaye kuruta ayo bahorana, anategeka ko Imana ya Isiraheli ariyo yosengwa.

Ni Yesu Kristo ubgiwe.

Have you ever gone through times when circumstances were so difficult that you said to yourself: « Enough is enough! »?

These times are when God allows you to go through things that seem insurmountable, times when God asks things of you that seem impossible. And there, « Enough is enough » are the words that come to mind.

Abraham was also able to say to himself « enough is enough » many times in his life.

It was too much, when God told him to leave his country, his family and his homeland.
It was too much to wait all this time to see a promise fulfilled.
He must have thought many times, « I’m too old », « it’s too late », « I’ve made too many mistakes »…
It was also too much when Abraham had to tell his nephew Lot that they must separate.
After all these « too much », when Abram had separated from Lot, the Lord said to him:
“Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted…”(Genesis 13:14-18)

What was « too much » for Abraham and Lot was not for God.
In the same way, our « too much » is not too much for God, because nothing is difficult or impossible for God.
When we come to feel that « it is too much », when we recognize that we are at the end of our strength and our hopes, it is at this moment that God intervenes to renew his promises, to boost our hope and to manifest his power and goodness in our lives.
We therefore have no reason to become discouraged or resigned in life. Behind our “enough is enough”, God has blessings in store for us.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to never resign ourselves in life and to keep our trust in You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Vous est-il arrivé de passer par des moments où les circonstances étaient tellement dures que vous vous êtes dit: « Trop, c’est trop ! »?

Ces moments sont ceux où Dieu permet que vous passiez par des choses qui vous semblent insurmontables, des moments où Dieu vous demande des choses qui vous semblent impossibles. Et là, « Trop, c’est trop » sont les mots qui vous viennent à l’esprit.

Abraham aussi a pu se dire « trop c’est trop » à bien des reprises dans sa vie.

C’était trop, quand Dieu lui a dit de quitter son pays, sa famille et sa patrie.
C’était trop d’attendre tout ce temps pour voir une promesse s’accomplir.
Il a dû penser bien des fois, « Je suis trop vieux », « c’est trop tard », « j’ai trop fait d’erreurs »…
C’était aussi trop, lorsque Abraham dût dire à son neveu Lot qu’il faille qu’ils se séparent.
Après tous ces « trop », lorsque Abram se fut séparé de Lot, l’Éternel lui dit:
“Lève les yeux, et, du lieu où tu es, regarde vers le nord et le midi, vers l’orient et l’occident; car tout le pays que tu vois, je le donnerai à toi et à ta postérité pour toujours…”(Genèse 13:14-18)

Ce qui était « trop » pour Abraham et Lot ne l’était pas pour Dieu.
De la même manière, nos « trop » ne sont pas trop pour Dieu, car rien n’est ni difficile, ni impossible à Dieu.
Lorsque nous arrivons à sentir que « c’est trop », lorsque nous reconnaissons que nous sommes au bout de nos forces et de nos espoirs, c’est à ce moment que Dieu intervient pour renouveler ses promesses, booster notre espérance et manifester sa puissance et sa bonté dans notre vie.
Nous n’avons donc pas raison de nous décourager ou de nous résigner dans la vie. Derrière nos « trop », Dieu nous réserve des bénédictions.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne plus jamais nous résigner dans la vie et de garder notre confiance en vous.

Na Aburahamu yaribwiye « Ndabirambiwe » inshuro nyinshi mu buzima bwe.

Byari bigoye cyane, igihe Imana yabwiraga Aburahamu kuva mu gihugu cye, agasiga umuryango we ndetse na gakondo y’iwabo.
Byari bigoye cyane gutegereza igihe kinini cyose kugirango abone amasezerano yasohoye.
Agomba kuba yaranatekereje inshuro nyinshi ati « Ndashaje cyane », « biratinze », « Nakoze amakosa menshi » …

Did you know that the forgiveness of sins does not erase their consequences?

David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” Nathan replied, “The LORD has taken away your sin. You are not going to die. But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the LORD, the son born to you will die. »(2 Samuel 12:13-14)

Although David was forgiven for his sin, his son had to die!
Receiving God’s forgiveness does not eliminate the consequences of our sins. There are still consequences to come.
If you kill, steal, rape or commit any other offense, GOD will forgive you if you repent, but He will not prevent the court of Justice from sentencing you.
If you commit adultery, GOD will forgive you but He will not prevent you from being contaminated with sexually transmitted diseases.
If you harm others, GOD will forgive you, but will not prevent your victims from taking revenge against you.
There are many examples, but let us still recognize that everything is possible by the grace of God.
Let us be aware that our sins have consequences that have nothing to do with God’s forgiveness.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always avoid sin.

Saviez-vous que le pardon des péchés n’efface pas leurs conséquences?

David dit à Nathan: J’ai péché contre l’Éternel! Et Nathan dit à David: L’Éternel pardonne ton péché, tu ne mourras point. Mais, parce que tu as fait blasphémer les ennemis de l’Éternel, en commettant cette action, le fils qui t’est né mourra. »(2 Samuel 12:13-14)

Bien que David fut pardonné de son péché, son fils a dû mourir!
Recevoir le pardon de Dieu n’élimine pas les conséquences de nos péchés. Il y a encore des conséquences à venir.
Si vous tuez, volez, violez ou faites n’importe quelle autre infraction, DIEU vous pardonnera si vous vous repentez, mais Il n’empêchera pas à la cour de Justice de vous condamner.
Si vous faites l’adultère, DIEU vous pardonnera mais Il ne vous empêchera pas d’être contaminé des maladies sexuellement transmissibles.
Si vous faites du mal aux autres, DIEU vous pardonnera, mais n’empêchera à vos victimes de se venger contre vous.
Des exemples sont nombreux, mais reconnaissons quand même que tout est possible par la grâce de Dieu.
Seulement, soyons conscients que nos péchés ont des conséquences qui n’ont rien à voir avec le pardon de Dieu.

Kwakira imbabazi z’Imana ntibikuraho ingaruka z’ibyaha byacu. Haba kakiri ingaruka zidutegereje.
Niba warishe, waribye, warafashe kungufu cyangwa warakoze ibindi byaha ibyo ari byo byose, IMANA izakubabarira niwihana, ariko ntizabuza urukiko rw’ubutabera kugukatira.
Niba usambanye, IMANA izakubabarira ariko ntizakubuza kwandura indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina.
Niba ugiriye nabi abandi, IMANA izakubabarira, ariko ntizabuza abahohotewe kukwihorera.
Hariho ingero nyinshi, ariko ntabwo twakwirengagiza ko byose bishoboka kubuntu bw’Imana.
Gusa, ni byiza ko tumenya ko ibyaha byacu bifite ingaruka zidafite aho zihuriye n’imbabazi z’Imana.
