Mariya Magadalena na Mariya nyina wa Yakobo na Salome, nibo bonyene bamuherekeje bamubera abizerwa, bamurambararako gushika ku rupfu:

Kuba umwizigirwa gushika ku rupfu n’ukuba umwizerwa, guhoraho mu mahirwe no mu magorwa, kudahinduka, gushikama no kurambarara ku muntu gushika ku rupfu.
Nimba, cokimwe na Yuda, dushobora guhemukira abantu batugiriye neza kandi bakadufata nk’abagenzi, Nimba, cokimwe n’abigishwa ba Yesu, dushobora guheba abantu mu bihe bakeneye ubufasha bgacu cane, Nimba, nka Petero, dushobora kwihakana abantu tuzi mu bihe bakeneye cane intahe yacu, ntituri abizigirwa mu bucuti bgacu.
Yamara, uko kuba abizigirwa ku bandi niko gushingirintahe vy’ukuri ko turi ab’Imana.

Most of the time, we underestimate ourselves, simply because we ignore the potential that God has given us.
And yet, GOD would like us to use it.

As an example, let us cite the case of Gideon who procrastinated from carrying out the mission to liberate Israel because he underestimated himself, saying:
« My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family. »(Judges 6:15)

GOD has told him:
« Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you? »(Judges 6:14)

Gideon represents here every child of God and Midian every enemy or every trial.
From the moment we welcome Jesus into our lives and accept him as our King and our Savior, we receive with him all the potential or strength necessary to face any enemy and any test.
We therefore have no reason to underestimate ourselves because with Jesus, we have everything and « in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. »(Romans 8:37)

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to never underestimate ourselves again.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

La plupart des fois, il nous arrive de nous sous-estimer, tout simplement parce que nous ignorons le potentiel que Dieu nous a donné.
Et pourtant, DIEU voudrait que nous nous en servions.

À titre d’exemple, citons le cas de Gédéon qui avait tergiversé d’accomplir la mission de libérer Israël parce qu’il se sous-estimait en disant:
« Ma famille est la plus pauvre en Manassé, et je suis le plus petit dans la maison de mon père. »(Juges 6:15)

DIEU lui avait dit:
« Va avec cette force que tu as, et délivre Israël de la main de Madian; n’est-ce pas moi qui t’envoie? »(Juges 6:14)

Gédéon représente ici tout enfant de Dieu et Madian tout ennemi ou toute épreuve.
À partir du moment où nous accueillons Jesus dans notre vie et l’acceptons comme notre Roi et notre Sauveur, nous recevons avec lui tout le potentiel ou la force nécessaire pour faire face à tout ennemi et à toute épreuve.
Nous n’avons donc aucune raison de nous sous-estimer car avec Jésus, nous avons tout et « dans toutes les choses nous sommes plus que vainqueurs par celui qui nous a aimés. »(Romains 8:37)

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne plus jamais nous sous-estimer.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Gideyoni yagereranywa hano na buri mwana w’Imana, Abamidiyani nabo n’umwanzi cyangwa ibigeragezo byose.
Kuva aho twakiriye Yesu mu buzima bwacu kandi tukamwemera nk’Umwami n’Umukiza wacu, twakiriye hamwe nawe ubushobozi bwose bukenewe, n’imbaraga zose zikenewe kugirango duhangane n’umwanzi cyangwa n’ikigeragezo icyo ari cyo cyose.
Ntampamvu rero yo kwisuzugura kuko hamwe na Yesu, dufite byose kandi « muri byose turushishwaho kunesha n’uwadukunze. »(Abaroma 8:37)

Gideyoni yogereranywa hano na buri mwana w’Imana, Abamidiyani nabo n’umwansi canke ibigeragezo vyose.

Lorsqu’une personne se regarde et voit qu’elle a quelque chose de mieux que les autres, et en arrive au point où elle pense être quelque chose quoiqu’elle ne soit rien, cela s’appelle de l’orgueil.

La Bible nous dit que « Si quelqu’un pense être quelque chose, quoiqu’il ne soit rien, il s’abuse lui-même. »(Galates 6:3)

Did you know that our words influence our lives and our realities?
Every word is a spiritual seed. So when we speak a word, we must then expect that it will bear fruit.

The Bible says that “The tongue has the power of life and death. »(Proverbs 18:21)

Indeed, each word is comparable to a seed that we plant by pronouncing it. It is endowed with the mystery of germination and fruit production.
It is for this reason that one of the fundamental laws, or principle of creation, warns us in these words: “We reap what we sow”.

We should therefore discipline ourselves and learn to speak good words about our own lives as well as the lives of others.
Because the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the word is in each of us, then the word which is at the origin of all creation still has intact power to manifest all the promises it contains.
Thus, what we say about ourselves is like a prophecy that can improve our future or, on the contrary, pollute it, or even penalize it.
To speak good words based on God’s word over our own lives is to prophesy the wonders of God over our present and our future.
It is also prophesying victories in our lives with the assurance that in Jesus Christ, we are “more than conquerors”.
When we realize the power that is found in speech, the raw material of all creation, then we can no longer afford to use words haphazardly, either towards ourselves or towards others.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to never again speak evil words about our lives and those of others.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
