THE LION OF JUDAH MINISTRY IN THE WORLD

Lorsque nous recevons Jésus-Christ dans notre vie par la foi, nous sommes considérés comme étant uni à Lui.
Cette union spirituelle est souvent décrite comme une relation intime où nous sommes en Christ et Christ est en nous.

« Celui qui s’attache au Seigneur est avec lui un seul esprit. »(1 Corinthiens 6:17)

La présence de Jésus-Christ en nous et notre présence en Jésus-Christ sont deux aspects complémentaires de la relation spirituelle que les nous partageons avec Lui.
Voici les implications distinctes de chaque aspect, appuyées par des versets bibliques :

1. Christ en nous:
La présence de Christ en nous implique notre transformation intérieure, change notre nature, nous rendant plus conformes à son image.
Transformé, l’apôtre Paul pouvait dire:
« J’ai été crucifié avec Christ; ce n’est plus moi qui vis, c’est Christ qui vit en moi; et si je vis maintenant dans la chair, je vis dans la foi au Fils de Dieu, qui m’a aimé et qui s’est livré lui-même pour moi. »(Galates 2:20)
Ensuite, la présence de Christ en nous, nous donne la puissance pour vivre une vie sainte: La force et la capacité de vivre selon les enseignements de Christ viennent de sa présence en nous.
« En sorte que Christ habite dans vos cœurs par la foi; afin qu’étant enracinés et fondés dans l’amour. »(Éphésiens 3:17)
Enfin, la présence de Christ nous donne l’espoir de la gloire: Christ en nous est la garantie de notre espérance éternelle.
« À qui Dieu a voulu faire connaître quelle est la glorieuse richesse de ce mystère parmi les païens, savoir: Christ en vous, l’espérance de la gloire. »(Colossiens 1:27)

2. Nous en Christ:
Être en Christ implique notre sécurité et assurance: Être en Christ signifie être protégé et assuré dans notre salut.
« Il n’y a donc maintenant aucune condamnation pour ceux qui sont en Christ Jésus. »(Romains 8:1)
En Christ, nous avons une nouvelle identité en tant qu’enfants de Dieu.
« Si quelqu’un est en Christ, il est une nouvelle créature. Les choses anciennes sont passées; voici, toutes choses sont devenues nouvelles. »(2 Corinthiens 5:17)

3. Notre communion avec Christ nous rend capable de produire de bonnes œuvres.
La preuve irréfutable que nous sommes en Christ et que Christ est aussi en nous reside dans beaucoup de bonnes oeuvres que nous faisons.
« Demeurez en moi, et je demeurerai en vous. Comme le sarment ne peut de lui-même porter du fruit, s’il ne demeure attaché au cep, ainsi vous ne le pouvez non plus, si vous ne demeurez en moi. Je suis le cep, vous êtes les sarments. Celui qui demeure en moi, et en qui je demeure, porte beaucoup de fruit, car sans moi vous ne pouvez rien faire. »(Jean 15:4-5)

4. Notre communion avec Christ nous fait entrer en communion avec son Père.
Être en Christ, c’est aussi être en Dieu parce que Christ est en Dieu.
« En ce jour-là, vous connaîtrez que je suis en mon Père, que vous êtes en moi, et que je suis en vous. »(Jean 14:20)
Cela implique que nous sommes assurément dans une protection totale parce que notre vie est cachée avec Christ en Dieu.
« Car vous êtes morts, et votre vie est cachée avec Christ en Dieu. »(Colossiens) 3:3
Après avoir accepté Christ, notre vie n’est plus seulement ancrée dans les réalités matérielles et visibles du monde, mais est plutôt enracinée en Dieu, à travers Christ.
Cachée en Dieu: Cela fait référence à une vie spirituelle protégée, préservée et sécurisée dans la relation avec Dieu. Cette « cachette » évoque la sécurité et la paix que l’on trouve en étant uni à Dieu par Jésus-Christ.
Avec Christ: En acceptant Christ comme Sauveur, le croyant participe à la nouvelle vie que Christ offre. Cette vie nouvelle transcende les choses visibles et terrestres pour être orientée vers les réalités célestes.
Notre vraie identité et notre vie spirituelle ne sont pas exposées aux influences du monde, mais sont gardées en Dieu, dans une relation intime et éternelle avec Christ.

5. Notre communion avec Christ nous fait entrer en communion avec les autres chrétiens:
Notre union à Christ nous fait entrer dans l’unité avec les autres croyants unis à Lui. Ils deviennent d’office nos frères et soeurs.
« Afin que tous soient un, comme toi, Père, tu es en moi, et comme je suis en toi, afin qu’eux aussi soient un en nous, pour que le monde croie que tu m’as envoyé. Je leur ai donné la gloire que tu m’as donnée, afin qu’ils soient un comme nous sommes un, moi en eux et toi en moi, afin qu’ils soient parfaitement un, et que le monde connaisse que tu m’as envoyé et que tu les as aimés comme tu m’as aimé. »(Jean 17:21-23)

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de savoir et pouvoir entrer profondément en communion avec vous.

« Umuntu wese iyo ari muri Kristo aba ari icyaremwe gishya, ibya kera biba bishize. Dore byose biba bihindutse bishya. »(2 Abakorinto 5:17)

3. Ubusabane bwacu na Kristo budushoboza gukora imirimo myiza.
Ibimenyetso simusiga byerekana ko turi muri Kristo kandi ko na Kristo ari muri twe, tubisanga mu mirimo myinshi myiza dukora.

« Bose babe umwe nk’uko uri muri jye, Data, nanjye nkaba muri wowe ngo na bo babe umwe muri twe, ngo ab’isi bizere ko ari wowe wantumye. Nanjye mbahaye ubwiza wampaye, ngo babe umwe nk’uko natwe turi umwe. Having good thoughts is essential to maintaining a positive mindset and good mental health.
The Bible offers several teachings on how to cultivate good thoughts.
Here are some biblical principles to achieve this:

1. Meditate on God’s Word:
The Bible encourages meditating on the Scriptures to keep a pure and God-centered mind.
Joshua 1:8 says: « Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. »

2. Fill your mind with positive things:
Philippians 4:8 recommends focusing on what is good: « Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. »

3. Keep your heart pure:
Proverbs 4:23 emphasizes the watchfulness of the heart: « Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. » This involves watching what you let into your heart and mind.
It also involves avoiding negative influences: Limit your exposure to negative news, or toxic social media.

4. Avoid impure and negative thoughts:
The Bible encourages us to reject evil thoughts. Colossians 3:2 says, « Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things. »

5. Pray Regularly:
Prayer is a way to stay in communication with God and share your thoughts and concerns with Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 recommends that we « pray continually. »

6. Trust God:
Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us to trust God rather than our own understanding: « Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. »
Trusting God helps to dispel thoughts of worry and doubt.

7. Physical training:
Although the Bible places more emphasis on spiritual well-being, it encourages physical care, including physical exercise.
1 Timothy 4:8 says: « For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things… »
Physical training releases endorphins, the happy hormones, which promote a positive mindset.

8. Avoid Rumination:
When negative thoughts persist, try to replace them with constructive thoughts or keep yourself busy with an activity you enjoy.
In 2 Corinthians 10:5 it says:
« We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. »
So we must adopt an optimistic outlook: Try to see the bright side of things, even in difficult situations. A positive approach helps generate more optimistic thoughts.

By applying these principles, the Bible teaches that one can nurture a mind filled with good thoughts, aligned with God’s will and imbued with His peace.

Voici quelques principes bibliques pour y parvenir:

1. Méditer sur la Parole de Dieu:
La Bible encourage à méditer sur les Écritures pour garder un esprit pur et centré sur Dieu. Josué 1:8 dit: « Que ce livre de la loi ne s’éloigne point de ta bouche; médite-le jour et nuit, pour agir fidèlement selon tout ce qui y est écrit; car c’est alors que tu auras du succès dans tes entreprises, c’est alors que tu réussiras. »

2. Remplir son esprit de choses positives:
Philippiens 4:8 recommande de se concentrer sur ce qui est bon: « Enfin, frères, que tout ce qui est vrai, tout ce qui est honorable, tout ce qui est juste, tout ce qui est pur, tout ce qui est aimable, tout ce qui mérite l’approbation, ce qui est vertueux et digne de louange, soit l’objet de vos pensées. »

3. Garder son cœur pur:
Proverbes 4:23 met l’accent sur la vigilance du cœur: « Garde ton cœur plus que toute autre chose, car de lui viennent les sources de la vie. » Cela implique de surveiller ce que l’on laisse entrer dans son cœur et son esprit, c’est-à-dire
éviter les influences négatives et limiter son exposition aux nouvelles négatives, ou aux réseaux sociaux toxiques.

4. Éviter les pensées impures et négatives:
La Bible encourage à rejeter les pensées mauvaises. Colossiens 3:2 dit: « Affectionnez-vous aux choses d’en haut, et non à celles qui sont sur la terre. »

5. Prier régulièrement:
La prière est un moyen de rester en communication avec Dieu et de lui confier ses pensées et ses soucis.
1 Thessaloniciens 5:17 recommande de « prier sans cesse. »

6. Faire confiance à Dieu:
Proverbes 3:5-6 nous exhorte à faire confiance à Dieu plutôt qu’à notre propre compréhension: « Confie-toi en l’Éternel de tout ton cœur, et ne t’appuie pas sur ta sagesse; reconnais-le dans toutes tes voies, et il aplanira tes sentiers. »
La confiance en Dieu permet de chasser les pensées d’inquiétude et de doute.

7. Faire de l’exercice physique:
Bien qu’elle mette davantage l’accent sur le bien-être spirituel, la Bible encourage le soin du corps, y compris l’exercice physique.
Dans 1 Timothée 4:8, il est écrit: « Exerce-toi à la piété; car l’exercice corporel est utile à peu de chose… »
L’activité physique libère des endorphines, les hormones du bonheur, qui favorisent un état d’esprit positif.

8. Éviter la rumination:
Lorsque des pensées négatives persistent, essayez de les remplacer par des pensées constructives ou de vous occuper avec une activité que vous aimez.
Dans 2 Corinthiens 10:5, il est mentionné:
« Nous renversons les raisonnements et toute hauteur qui s’élève contre la connaissance de Dieu, et nous amenons toute pensée captive à l’obéissance de Christ. »
Il faut donc adopter une vision optimiste: Essayez de voir le bon côté des choses, même dans les situations difficiles. Une approche positive aide à générer des pensées plus optimistes.

En appliquant ces principes, la Bible enseigne que l’on peut nourrir un esprit rempli de bonnes pensées, aligné sur la volonté de Dieu et imprégné de sa paix.

A person’s thoughts influence his nature and behavior.
A key verse that reflects this concept is found in the book of Proverbs:

« for he is the kind of person who is always thinking about the cost. “Eat and drink,” he says to you, but his heart is not with you. »(Proverbs 23:7)

Indeed, a person’s inner thoughts reveal his true character, even if he may say or do something else outwardly.
The idea here is that what we think in our hearts profoundly influences who we are and how we act.
Another relevant passage is found in the Gospel of Matthew:
« But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. »(Matthew 15:18-19)
This passage shows that the thoughts and intentions of the heart are the root of human actions, whether good or bad.
