If it is gentle and waters the fields, rain in the Bible symbolizes a divine blessing or favor from God.
« The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. »(Deuteronomy 28:12)
If it is heavy and violent, rain symbolizes divine wrath, punishment, or trials.
« And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights. »(Genesis 7:12)
However, the Bible teaches us that God’s blessings and favor are eternal, while divine wrath and trials are only temporary.
The following verses attest that God’s blessings and favor are eternal:
« Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. »(Psalm 23:6)
« Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. »(Isaiah 54:10)
« Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. »(Lamentations 3:22-23)
The following verses attest that God’s trials and wrath only last for a time:
« For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. »(Psalm 30:5)
« For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer. »(Isaiah 54:7-8)
« For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. »(2 Corinthians 4:17)
« He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. »(Psalm 103:9-10)
« Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. »(Micah 7:18)
God’s Word therefore carries a message of hope and faith that all trials, however difficult or hard they are, will eventually pass, that no matter what storms we face, they will end, and renewal will follow.
This echoes biblical passages such as:
« For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. »(Psalm 30:5)
« When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. »(Isaiah 43:2)
In other words, even in times of distress, we must remain confident, because the sun always returns after the rain.
PRAYER:
O Lord our God, grant us the ability to trust in You in times of hardship.

« Quand les montagnes s’éloigneraient, quand les collines chancelleraient, mon amour ne s’éloignera point de toi, et mon alliance de paix ne chancellera point, dit l’Éternel, qui a compassion de toi. »(Ésaïe 54:10)
« Les bontés de l’Éternel ne sont pas épuisées, ses compassions ne sont pas à leur terme ; elles se renouvellent chaque matin. »(Lamentations 3:22-23)
« Béni soit Dieu… qui nous a bénis de toute bénédiction spirituelle dans les lieux célestes en Christ ! »(Éphésiens 1:3)

« Quelques instants je t’avais abandonnée, mais avec une grande tendresse je vais t’accueillir. Dans un débordement d’indignation, j’avais caché ma face un instant, mais avec un amour éternel, j’aurai compassion de toi. »(Ésaïe 54:7-8)
« Car nos légères afflictions du moment présent produisent pour nous, au-delà de toute mesure, un poids éternel de gloire. »(2 Corinthiens 4:17)
« Il ne conteste pas sans cesse, il ne garde pas sa colère à toujours. Il ne nous traite pas selon nos péchés, il ne nous punit pas selon nos iniquités. »(Psaume 103:9-10)
« Quel Dieu est semblable à toi, qui pardonne l’iniquité et qui oublie les transgressions du reste de ton héritage? Il ne garde pas sa colère à toujours, car il prend plaisir à la miséricorde. »(Michée 7:18)
La parole de Dieu porte donc un message d’espérance et de foi que toutes les épreuves, aussi difficiles soient-elles, finissent par passer, que peu importe les tempêtes que l’on traverse, elles prendront fin, et un renouveau suivra.
Cela fait écho à des passages bibliques comme:
« Le soir arrivent les pleurs, et le matin l’allégresse. »(Psaume 30:5)
« Si tu traverses les eaux, je serai avec toi. »(Ésaïe 43:2)
Autrement dit, même dans les moments de détresse, il faut garder confiance, car le soleil finit toujours par revenir après la pluie.

Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de pouvoir garder confiance en vous dans les moments de dures épreuves.

If I say that I can heal the sick of all illnesses, some wouldn’t believe me!
And yet, this is perfectly normal for any child of God who has faith and is aware of having the authority and power to heal the sick.
Jesus Himself healed the sick and gave all those who believe in Him as their King and Savior the authority and power to heal the sick.
« Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. »(Matthew 10:1)
« Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. »(John 14:12)
As children of God and disciples of Jesus, we are all called to « pray for the sick. »
« When you enter a town and are welcomed… Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.' »(Luke 10:8-9)
And, as the Bible says, one of the signs that will accompany those who believe in Jesus will is that “they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”(Mark 16:18)
Curiously, even though God has given us this authority to pray for the sick and heal them of all diseases, there are Christians who are unaware of this, and there are those who know it but doubt it, not believing they can do so. There are also those who believe that praying for the healing of the sick is reserved for a select few among God’s children, such as priests, pastors, prophets, or a very small number of other children of God.
None of this is true; it’s Satan’s lies.
« Healing the sick » is an authority and power given to all who believe in Jesus.
Satan is not happy when we pray for the sick to be healed.
Why then are the sick we pray for not healed of all their illnesses?
Here are three reasons why the sick we pray for are not healed of their illnesses:
1. Little faith
It’s not that we don’t believe God can heal the sick, it’s simply because we doubt that He can heal through us.
Jesus said it well:
« Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. »(Matthew 17:20)
Isn’t that right?
Could you be struggling with unbelief?
2. Prayerlessness
Jesus’ disciples tried to cast out a demon, but they could not. Why?
Jesus told them that
« this kind can come out only by prayer. »(Mark 9:29)
In Matthew 21, Jesus said:
« However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. »(Matthew 17:21)
As we spend more time in prayer, in God’s Presence, connected to the vine, abiding in Him…demonstrations of power flow out of us.
He lives in us more fully.
His works flow out of us more freely.
Could it be that you need to pray a bit more?
3. Timidity
Sometimes we are afraid to take a risk of faith.
We are hesitant to ask someone if we can pray for them. This is especially true when you are praying for something more than a common cold!
Imagine, for example, praying for someone in a wheelchair!
All kinds of reasons come to mind to avoid the offer to pray for him.
And even when the Holy Spirit prompts us, we ignore or dismiss it.
But Apostle Paul said:
« The Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. »(2 Timothy 1:7)
Could it be that fear is greater in your life than faith?
Ask God to help you overcome fear and to fill you with His love, His power, and the self-discipline to obey His command to heal the sick around you.
God’s children must be aware that they have the authority and power to heal the sick of all diseases.
All they need is to believe in God and trust in the power of God within them.
PRAYER:
Eternal Father, grant us the awareness that we have the authority and the power to heal the sick of all diseases.
It is in the precious name of your Son Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.

Et pourtant, c’est très normal pour tout enfant de Dieu qui a la foi et qui est conscient d’avoir l’autorité et le pouvoir de guérir les malades.
Jésus a lui-même guéri les malades et il a donné à tous ceux qui croient en lui comme leur roi et leur sauveur, l’autorité et le pouvoir de guerir les malades.
« Il leur donna le pouvoir de chasser les esprits impurs, et de guérir toute maladie et toute infirmité. »(Matthieu 10:1)
« En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, celui qui croit en moi fera aussi les oeuvres que je fais, et il en fera de plus grandes, parce que je m’en vais au Père. »(Jean 14:12)
En tant qu’enfants de Dieu et disciples de Jésus, nous sommes donc tous appelés à « prier pour les malades ».
« Dans quelque ville que vous entriez, et où l`on vous recevra, mangez ce qui vous sera présenté, guérissez les malades qui s`y trouveront, et dites-leur: Le royaume de Dieu s`est approché de vous. »(Luc 10:8-9)
Et, comme le dit la Bible, l’un des signes que les croyants en Jésus auront toujours est qu’ »ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades, seront guéris. »(Marc 16:18)
Curieusement, même si bien que Dieu nous ait donné cette autorité de prier pour les malades et de les guérir de toutes les maladies, il y a des chrétiens qui l’ignorent, et il y en a qui le savent mais en doutent, ne croiyant pas qu’ils le peuvent, et il y a aussi qui croient que prier pour la guérison des malades est réservé à quelques élus parmi les enfants de Dieu tels que les prêtres, les pasteurs, les prophètes ou un très petit nombre d’autres enfants de Dieu.
Tout cela n’est pas vrai, ce sont les mensonges de Satan.
« Guérir les malades » est une autorité et un pouvoir qui a été donné à tous ceux qui croient en Jésus.
Satan n’est pas content quand nous prions pour que les malades soient guéris.
Pourquoi alors les malades pour qui nous prions ne sont pas guéris de toutes leurs maladies?
Voici trois raisons qui justifient les malades pour qui nous prions ne sont pas guéris de leurs maladies:
1. L’incrédulité.
Ce n’est pas que nous ne croyons pas que Dieu puisse guérir les malades, c’est tout simplement parce que nous doutons qu’il puisse guérir par notre intermédiaire.
Jésus le dit bien:
C’est à cause de votre incrédulité… Je vous le dis en vérité, si vous aviez de la foi comme un grain de sénevé, vous diriez à cette montagne: Transporte-toi d’ici là, et elle se transporterait; rien ne vous serait impossible. »(Matthieu 17:20)
N’est-ce pas ?
Pourriez-vous lutter contre l’incrédulité ?
2. Absence de prière.
Les disciples de Jésus ont essayé de chasser un démon, mais ils n’y sont pas parvenus. Pourquoi ?
Jésus leur a dit que
« Cette espèce-là ne peut sortir que par la prière. »(Marc 9:29)
Dans Matthieu 21, Jésus dit:
« Mais cette sorte de démon ne sort que par la prière et par le jeûne. »(Matthieu 17:21)
En passant plus de temps dans la prière, en présence de Dieu, connectés au cep, demeurant en Lui… des manifestations de puissance jaillissent de nous.
Il vit plus pleinement en nous.
Ses œuvres jaillissent plus librement de nous.
Pourrait-il vous falloir prier un peu plus?
3. Timidité.
Parfois, nous avons peur de prendre un risque avec la foi.
Nous hésitons à demander à quelqu’un si nous pouvons prier pour lui.
C’est particulièrement vrai lorsque vous priez pour quelque chose de plus qu’un simple rhume!
Imaginez-vous par exemple prier pour quelqu’un en fauteuil roulant! Toutes sortes de raisons vous viennent à l’esprit pour esquiver à la proposition de prier pour lui.
Et même lorsque le Saint-Esprit nous y pousse, nous l’ignorons ou le rejetons.
Et pourtant, l’apôtre Paul dit que « ce n’est pas un esprit de timidité que Dieu nous a donné, mais un esprit de force, d’amour et de sagesse. »(2 Timothée 1:7)
Serait-il possible que la peur soit plus importante dans votre vie que la foi ?
Demandez à Dieu de vous aider à surmonter la peur et de vous remplir de son amour, de sa puissance et de la maîtrise de soi nécessaire pour obéir à son commandement de guérir les malades autour de vous.
Les enfants de Dieu doivent être conscients qu’ils ont l’autorité et le pouvoir de guérir les malades de toutes les maladies.
Il leut faut seulement de croire en Dieu et de faire confiance en la puissance de Dieu qui est en eux.
PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, accordez-nous de prendre conscience que nous avons l’autorité et le pouvoir de guérir les malades de toutes les maladies.

The Bible affirms that every child of God is a king and a priest.
This biblical truth underscores the dignity and responsibility of God’s children.
As kings, God’s children are called to reign spiritually, to manifest God’s authority on earth, and to inherit the Kingdom.
And as priests, they have a role of intercession and service to God, offering spiritual sacrifices (praise, prayer, obedience).
These following verses confirm this:
« To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father —to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.”(Revelation 1:5-6)
This means that Jesus has freed us from sin and established us in a royal and priestly role.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”(1 Peter 2:9)
This means that our role as priests is linked to our mission to bear witness to God and proclaim His glory.
This is truly a great grace that God grants us!
Being both kings and priests shows how valuable we are in His eyes and how important our mission on earth is.
Unfortunately, many of God’s children are unaware that they are kings and priests!
There are even some who believe that the royal and priestly role is reserved only for priests in the Catholic Church and for pastors in Protestant and revivalist churches.
This is completely false, because the Bible says that the royal and priestly role is not reserved for an elite, but for all those who have been redeemed by Jesus:
« With your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth. »(Revelation 5:9-10)
Imagine being a king and not knowing that you are one!
Imagine being a priest and not knowing that you are one!
Indeed, being a king and a priest is not only a spiritual title, it is also a call to live according to this identity.
A child of God who is unaware that he is a king is not using the authority God has given him:
a) He submits to circumstances instead of influencing them.
He complains about his problems instead of seeking solutions or exercising faith.
He believes that bad luck, fate, or other people are responsible for his failure.
He lives passively, without seeking to progress or impact his environment.
Concrete example:
Someone who dreams of earning a better living, but makes no effort to learn new skills or seize opportunities, believing that « that’s life. »
b) He lives in insecurity and doubt.
He doesn’t know his worth and constantly seeks the approval of others.
He is afraid to make decisions and always depends on the opinions of others.
He compares himself to others and feels inferior.
Concrete example:
A person who always hesitates to take initiative, who doesn’t believe in his abilities, and who waits for others to validate his choices before acting.
c) He lacks vision and ambition.
He lives day by day without a clear goal.
He doesn’t believe he can accomplish great things with God.
He settles for the minimum and refuses to dream big.
Concrete example:
Someone who has potential but settles for mediocre work because he thinks he can’t do better, even though God has given him talents.
d) He is dominated by his emotions and weaknesses.
He is easily discouraged by difficulties.
He gets carried away by anger, anxiety, or sadness instead of remaining calm.
He easily falls into destructive habits (sin, procrastination, addictions, etc.).
Concrete example:
Someone who lets his fears dictate his life choices, who gives up at the slightest difficulty, or who remains trapped in toxic relationships for fear of loneliness.
A child of God who is unaware that he is a priest does not realize that he has the spiritual authority to overcome the devil and his attacks:
a) He does not know his identity in Christ.
He thinks he is just a sinner saved by grace, but not an heir of the Kingdom.
He lives in guilt instead of accepting God’s forgiveness and justice.
Concrete example:
A Christian who thinks he must « earn » God’s love through his good deeds, and who lives in fear of judgment rather than in the freedom of Christ.
b) He does not pray with assurance.
He prays with doubt and hesitation, without conviction.
He does not claim God’s promises for his life.
He lets others pray for him instead of developing a personal relationship with God.
Concrete example:
A person who prays only in times of crisis and does not truly believe that his prayer can make a difference.
c) He does not fight spiritually.
He accepts the enemy’s attacks instead of repelling them with the Word of God.
He ignores negative influences and easily falls into compromise.
He does not recognize the importance of spiritual warfare in his life.
Concrete example:
Someone who has nightmares or experiences spiritual oppression, but does not pray or seek protection through faith and the Word.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us the awareness that we are kings and priests.
