HOLD ON TO WHAT IS GOOD

The word of God urges us to test everything we hear and see, and hold on only to what is good.

« Test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil. »(1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 NIV)

We hear a lot of bad and good things, and we also see a lot of bad and good things.
But out of all that, we have to hold on to what is good.
To hold on to what is good is to reject every kind of evil, in any form, because evil destroys us mentally and emotionally and also destroys our relationships with others.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us wisdom to test all things and hold on to what is good in them.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.
