God wants love to be the normal and ideal expression of human relationships.
This is why the Bible urges us to act in everything in love:
« Do everything in love. »(1 Corinthians 16:14)
There are people who do good to be seen or to be admired.
There are people who do good in order to dominate or exploit those to whom they do it.
There are also those who do good because they hope that it will be returned back to them more in return.
But let us know that any act that is not done out of love has no value in the sight of God.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to do everything in love.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.
