The Bible says that whoever believes in Christ becomes a new creation. And a change must take place in his thoughts and actions.
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.”(2 Corinthians 5:17).
So, if you pretend to be in Christ, what have been changed in your life?
Normally, a change must take place in your life “through the renewing by the Holy Spirit.”(Read Titus 3:5)
Our thoughts and our works, must resemble those of Christ.
« Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. »(Philippians 2:5)
« Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. »(Philippians 4:8)
It is the same with our desires, they must be disinterested in the goods of the world.
We must « pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. »(1 Timothy 6:11)
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be flexible to the changes the Holy Spirit works in our lives.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
