Hariho ivyaha umuntu yicuza… hakaba n’ibindi biriza umuntu ubuzima bwiwe bwose.
Hari amakosa dukora agasiga inyuma ibikomere bidashobora kuvurwa no gukizwa n’amajambo, nk’iyo twatumye ubuzima bw’abandi busenyuka, iyo twabateye ubumuga, canke iyo twabakomerekeje imitima.
Mu bihe nk’ivyo, gusaba imbabazi bisanzwe ntibihagije — hakenewe imbabazi ziva ku mutima, ugutabaza kw’umutima gushikira Imana n’abacu twakoshereje.

Bibiliya ivuga iti:
«Namba bishoboka, mu ruhande rwanyu, mwuzure n’abantu bose.»(Abaroma 12:18)

Ibi bisigura ko amahoro ategurwa imbere y’uko ikibi gikorwa, biciye mu kwitondera no mu kwiyubara.
Ni vyiza kwirinda gukomeretsa abandi, kuruta kugerageza gusubiriza ibitari busubirizwe.

«Ibitsitaza abantu ntibizobura kuza, arik’ ubizana azobona ibara.»(Luka 17:1)

Iyo ikibi kimaze kuba, dutegerezwa kugira ubutwari bwo kwemera amakosa yacu, gusaba imbabazi n’umutima w’ukuri, no gukora ibishoboka vyose kugira dusubirize canke twishure ivyo twononye.
Ariko kandi dutegerezwa no kwitura Imana, kuko Imbabazi zayo gusa ni zo zoshobora gukiza umutima wakomeretse.
Nka Dawidi dukwiye gusenga tuvuga duti:
«Unkomorere umunezero w’agakiza kawe; Unshigikirishe umutima ushize icira.» (Zaburi 51:12)

ALCOHOL: THE SILENT ENEMY OF THE CHRISTIAN

The greatest danger of alcohol is not in the bottle, but in the heart of the one who desires it.
Alcohol seduces, but it destroys.
It begins with laughter, and ends with shame, ruin, and tears.

The Bible says:
“Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.”(Proverbs 20:1)

Drinking is not necessarily a sin, but getting drunk is.
Drunkenness takes away self-control, opens the door to sin, and silences the voice of the Holy Spirit.

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.”(Ephesians 5:18)

A Christian does not need wine to be joyful, but the Spirit to be filled with peace.
Those led by God keep a sober, pure, and vigilant heart.

“But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate…”(1 Thessalonians 5:8)

Thus, true joy does not come from the cup, but from the presence of God.
For the Spirit of God gives a joy that no wine can ever offer.

L’ALCOOL: L’ENNEMI SILENCIEUX DU CHRÉTIEN

Le plus grand danger de l’alcool n’est pas dans la bouteille, mais dans le cœur de celui qui s’y attache.
L’alcool séduit, mais il détruit.
Il commence par faire rire, puis il fait tomber, ruiner et pleurer.

La Bible dit:
«Le vin est moqueur, les boissons fortes sont tumultueuses; quiconque en fait excès n’est pas sage.»(Proverbes 20:1)

Boire n’est pas forcément un péché, mais s’enivrer l’est. Car l’ivresse enlève la maîtrise de soi, ouvre la porte au péché et éteint la voix du Saint-Esprit.

«Ne vous enivrez pas de vin: c’est de la débauche. Soyez au contraire remplis de l’Esprit.»(Éphésiens 5:18)

Le chrétien n’a pas besoin du vin pour être joyeux, mais de l’Esprit pour être rempli de paix.
Celui qui est conduit par Dieu garde un cœur sobre, pur et vigilant.

«Soyons sobres, revêtus de la foi et de l’amour.»
(1 Thessaloniciens 5:8)

Ainsi, le vrai plaisir ne vient pas de la boisson, mais de la présence de Dieu.
Car l’Esprit de Dieu donne une joie que nulle coupe de vin ne peut offrir.

Inzoga irashukana, ariko irasenyera.
Itangirana n’ibyishimo, ikarangirana n’isoni, ubukene n’amarira.

Bibiliya iravuga iti:
«Vino ni umukobanyi,Inzoga zirakubaganisha,Kandi ushukwa na byo ntagira ubwenge.»(Imigani 20:1)

Ubundi kunywa inzoga si icyaha, ariko gusinda ni icyaha.
Ubusinzi butwara ubwenge, bukingura umuryango w’icyaha, kandi bugatuma umuntu atumva ijwi ry’Umwuka Wera.

«Kandi ntimugasinde inzoga zirimo ubukubaganyi, ahubwo mwuzure Umwuka.»(Abanyefeso 5:18)

Umukristo nyawe ntashakira ibyishimo mu nzoga, ahubwo abishakira mu Mana, kuko Umwuka w’Imana ari we utanga amahoro n’ibyishimo nyabyo.

«Ariko twebweho ubwo turi ab’amanywa, twirinde ibisindisha twambaye kwizera n’urukundo nk’icyuma gikingira igituza…»(1 Abatesalonika 5:8)

Ibyishimo nyakuri ntibituruka mu kumwa, ahubwo bituruka mu kubaho mu busabane n’Imana.
Kuko Umwuka w’Imana atanga ibyishimo ata nzoga n’imwe, yatanga.

INZOGA:UMWANSI MUBI W’UMUKRISTO

Inzoga s’ikibazo kiri mu gacupa, ahubwo n’ikibazo kiri mu mutima w’uwuyikunda.

Inzoga iradutera akanyamuneza gatoya, ariko inyuma igasenya, igatuma umuntu agwa, agahomba kandi akamererwa nabi cane.

Bibiliya ivuga iti :
«Vino ni yo mucokoranyi, ibiboreza ni vyo ruyogoyogo,
Kand’ ubidandabagiranamwo wese ntagira ubgenge.»(Imigani 20:1)

Kunywa inzoga s’icaha, ariko kuborerwa n’icaha gikomeye.
Kuborerwa bituma umuntu, ananirwa kwifata, ananirwa kwihangana, yigenza nabi, akora ivyaha, kandi ntashobore no kumva ijwi ry’Imana.

«Kandi ntimukaborerwe vino, irimw’ ubuhumbu, ariko mwuzure Mpwemu.»(Abanyefeso 5:18)

Umukristo nyawe ntaronderera umunezero muri vino, ahubwo awuronderera mu Mwami, kuko Mpwemu W’Imana ari we atanga amahoro n’umunezero vy’ukuri.

«Ariko tweho, ko tur’ ab’ umurango, twirinde ibiboreza, twambaye icuma gikingira igikiriza c’ukwizera n’urukundo, kandi twambaye nk’inkofero ukwizigira agakiza.»(1 Ab’i Tesalonike 5:8)

Umunezero w’ukuri ntuva mu gukira inyota y’inzoga, ahubwo uva mu kubaho imbere y’Imana.

WHEN GOD HIDES HIS CHILDREN FROM THEIR ENEMIES

“As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.”(2 Kings 6:18)

When God wants to protect His children, He doesn’t always destroy their enemies — sometimes, He simply makes them unable to see.
This is what happened to Elisha: an entire army searched for him, but God blinded their eyes in answer to his prayer.

God can put “thorns in the eyes” of those who pursue you, so that they cannot see you, understand you, or harm you.
David also prayed:

“May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin
be turned back in dismay.”(Psalm 35:4)

God knows how to confuse the plans of the wicked and hide His own under His shadow.
When He covers you, you become invisible even in the open.

So do not fear — your God fights for you, not always by power, but often through the mystery of His invisible protection.
Those who wanted your fall will never understand how you escaped, for God had blinded their eyes to preserve you.

“A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”(Psalm 91:7)

QUAND DIEU CACHE SES ENFANTS AUX YEUX DE LEURS ENNEMIS

«Les Syriens descendirent vers Élisée. Il adressa alors cette prière à l’Éternel: Daigne frapper d’aveuglement cette nation! Et l’Éternel les frappa d’aveuglement, selon la parole d’Élisée.»(2 Rois 6:18)

Quand Dieu veut protéger ses enfants, Il n’a pas toujours besoin de détruire leurs ennemis. Parfois, Il les rend tout simplement incapables de les voir.
C’est ce qui arriva à Élisée: une armée entière le cherchait, mais Dieu les aveugla selon la prière de son serviteur.

Ainsi, Dieu peut mettre des “épines dans les yeux” de ceux qui te poursuivent, pour qu’ils ne te voient pas, ne te comprennent pas, et ne puissent pas te nuire.
David priait aussi:
«Qu’ils soient confondus et couverts de honte, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie !» (Psaume 35:4)

Dieu sait troubler les plans des méchants et cacher les siens sous son ombre.
Quand Il te couvre, tu deviens invisible à leurs yeux, même si tu es en pleine lumière.

Ne crains donc rien: ton Dieu combat pour toi, non toujours par la force, mais souvent par le mystère de Sa protection invisible.
Ceux qui veulent te nuire ne comprendront jamais comment tu leur as échappé : Dieu les aura aveuglés pour te garder.

«Que mille tombent à ton côté, Et dix mille à ta droite, Tu ne seras pas atteint.»(Psaume 91:7)

“Za ngabo zigezeyo Elisa yinginga Uwiteka ati “Ndakwinginze huma amaso y’izi ngabo.” Uwiteka aherako azihuma amaso nk’uko Elisa yasabye.”(2 Abami 6:18)

Iyo Imana ishaka kurinda abana bayo, ntihita irimbura abanzi babo — ahubwo ibahindura abatabona.
Byabaye kuri Elisa, ubwo ingabo zashakaga kumufata, Imana izihuma amaso kugira ngo zimubure.

Imana ishobora gushyira “amashami y’amahembe” mu maso y’abanzi bawe, kugira ngo batakubona, batakumenya, kandi batagukoraho.
Dawidi yasengaga ati:

Ntutinye rero — Imana yawe irakurwanirira, rimwe na rimwe ikabikora mu buryo butaboneka n’abantu.
Abashakaga kugusenya ntibazigera bamenya uko wabacitse, kuko Imana yari yabahumye amaso ngo igukize.

Iyo Imana ishaka gukingira abana bayo, ntihita isambura abansi babo — rimwe na rimwe irahumisha amaso y’abansi babo kugira ngo ntibababone.
Ivyo ni vyo vyashitse kuri Elisa: ingabo zose zariko ziramurondera, ariko Imana yarazirahumye amaso yazo, ntibasubiriye kumubona.

Imana irashobora kugira nk’aho ishyize amahwa mu maso y’abakwirukako baguhama, kugira ngo ntibakubone canke ngo bagukoreko.
Dawidi yarasavye ati:
“Abarondera ubugingo bganje bamaramare, bateterwe,
Abangira inama yo kungirira nabi basubizwe inyuma, bicwe n’isoni.”(Zaburi 35:4)

Imana irazi gusambura imigambi y’abansi no guhisha abayo munsi y’amababa yayo.
Iyo iguhishije, uba nk’uwutaboneka n’aho woba uri hagati y’abantu.

Ntutinye rero — Imana yawe irakugwanira, rimwe na rimwe ikagukingira mu buryo buhambaye, bugoye kwumva.
Abashaka kukugirira nabi, bazokurondera bakubure, kubera Imana izoba yabahumye amaso kugira ngo igukize.

“Abantu igihumbi bazohindikirana i ruhande yawe,
N’ibihumbi cumi i buryo bgawe,

FOREIGNERS AND EXILES ON EARTH

“Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.”(1 Peter 2:11)

The Christian does not belong to this world. He lives in it, works in it, sometimes suffers in it, but he knows that this world is not his final home. Peter calls us foreigners and exiles, reminding us that our true homeland is heavenly and our passage here is temporary.

To live as a foreigner means to remain aware that we are just passing through. Whoever knows he is an exile or a traveler does not set his heart on temporary things. He is not attached to worldly glory, for he knows it will soon pass away. His thoughts, hope, and treasure are in heaven — in the eternal Kingdom prepared by God.

Yet, as long as we remain on earth, an invisible war continues: the war between the flesh and the soul. Fleshly desires try to draw our eyes away from heaven, to make us love the earth more than God, and to forget that we are only passing through.
That is why Peter urges us to abstain from these desires that weaken the soul and steal our inner peace.

Those who are conscious of being strangers live differently:

They guard their thoughts, knowing their thoughts guide their path.

They control their desires, refusing to be prisoners of the world they journey through.

They pursue holiness — not out of fear, but because they want to stay pure for their Lord.

Beloved, never lose this awareness: we are not from here. Each day is a step toward our real home. Let us not allow the illusions of this world to make us forget our destination. We are ambassadors of heaven, called to shine the light of the Kingdom in a dark world.

If we live with this consciousness, we will walk in peace, humility, and hope — knowing that our earthly journey is temporary, but our inheritance is eternal.
