Lorsque Marthe vint annoncer à Jésus la mort de Lazare, Jésus lui répondit:
« Ton frère ressuscitera. »(Jean 11:23)

Pour nous tous qui croyons en Jesus, la mort n’a aucun pouvoir sur la vie.

La mort ne devrait pas nous inquiéter, car, elle n’est qu’un passage que la résurrection efface pour la continuité de la vie.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne pas craindre la mort et de vous faire toujours confiance.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

It is true that this message is addressed primarily to kings, chiefs or authorities, so that they judge with justice, and do justice to the afflicted and the poor.
But, it concerns us all.

« Open your mouth to the mute, for the cause of all the abandoned, open your mouth, give righteous judgments, and do justice to the poor and the needy. » (Proverbs 31: 8-9)

« Open your mouth », come back twice:

1. First, we must open our mouths to speak for those who can not speak, and to plead in favor of the abandoned, of those who have no human support in this world.

2. Then we must open one’s mouth to judge justly, having no other consideration than equity; and to give justice to those whom we oppress, and of whom it is said (v 6-7) that they need to be encouraged and to recover the hope that has abandoned them in the presence of their misfortune.

Are not these words like an image of what must happen in the midst of God’s people?

Every Christian, placed in a privileged position, like the king, has an immense responsibility to open his mouth to speak in the place of Christ.

To achieve this, however, he must avoid two dangers that the world places before him, the two traps by which the enemy will seek to destroy the work God has entrusted to him: corruption and all that intoxicates. Then he will be able to speak, among the people of God, for the dumb who can not express what he has in his heart, and he will become his mouth. His action will bring joy to the least of the members of the Assembly of God.

PRAYER:
Lord God, give us the strength and courage to speak for all who are in difficult situations.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Il est vrai que ce message s’adresse d’abord aux rois, aux chefs ou aux autorités, pour qu’ils jugent avec justice, et fassent droit à l’affligé et au pauvre.
Mais, il nous concerne tous.

« Ouvre ta bouche en faveur du muet, pour la cause de tous les abandonnés. Ouvre ta bouche, rends de justes arrêts, et fais justice au malheureux et à l’indigent. »(Proverbes 31:8-9)

« Ouvre ta bouche », revient deux fois:

1. D’abord, il faut ouvrir la bouche pour parler en faveur de ceux qui ne peuvent pas parler, et pour plaider en faveur des délaissés, de ceux qui n’ont aucun appui humain dans ce monde.

2. Ensuite, il faut ouvrir sa bouche pour juger justement, n’ayant d’autre considération que l’équité; et pour faire droit à ceux qu’on opprime, et dont il est dit (v 6-7) qu’ils ont besoin d’être encouragés et de retrouver l’espoir qui les a abandonnés en présence de leur malheur.

Ces paroles ne sont-elles pas comme une image de ce qui doit se passer au milieu du peuple de Dieu?

Tout chrétien, placé dans une position privilégiée, comme le roi, a une immense responsabilité d’ouvrir la bouche pour parler à la place de Christ.

Pour y arriver, il doit cependant éviter deux dangers que le monde place devant lui, les deux pièges par lesquels l’ennemi cherchera à détruire l’œuvre que Dieu lui a confiée: la corruption et tout ce qui enivre. Alors il sera capable de parler, au milieu du peuple de Dieu, pour le muet qui ne peut exprimer ce qu’il porte dans son cœur, et il deviendra sa bouche. Son action produira de la joie chez le moindre des membres de l’Assemblée de Dieu.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la force et le courage de parler en faveur de tous ceux qui sont dans des situations difficiles.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

You may have heard of God from a friend or colleague. Perhaps you continue to hear of Him in church services on Sundays.

Like Job, you say to God, « I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear. »(Job 42:5)

But God also wants you to be able to say to Him, « But now my eye sees You. »(Job 42:5)

When Job told the Lord, « My eye sees You », he was not saying that he saw God physically. He was referring to the moment when he had a personal revelation of God.

Why was it so important for Job to have a personal revelation of God? You see, God wanted Job to know that without a personal revelation of Him, the devil could easily steal from him. But from the moment that Job had a personal revelation of God, things got a lot better for him, with God restoring to him double of everything that he had lost (see Job 42:10–16).

God always wants us to have a personal revelation of Him.
We just need to know how to recognize the situations and moments by which God reveals himself to us personally.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us to recognize all the moments by which you reveal yourself to us personally.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Vous avez peut-être entendu parler de Dieu par un ami ou un collègue.
Peut-être que vous continuez à entendre parler de lui lors des services religieux le dimanche.

Comme Job, vous dites à Dieu: « Mon oreille avait entendu parler de toi. »(Job 42:5)

Mais Dieu veut aussi que vous puissiez lui dire: « Mais maintenant, mon œil te voit. »(Job 42:5)

Quand Job a dit au Seigneur: « Mon œil t’a vu », il ne disait pas qu’il avait vu Dieu physiquement. Il faisait allusion au moment où il a eu une révélation personnelle de Dieu.

Pourquoi était-il si important pour Job d’avoir une révélation personnelle de Dieu? Vous voyez, Dieu voulait que Job sache que sans une révélation personnelle de lui, le diable pourrait facilement le voler. Mais à partir du moment où Job a eu une révélation personnelle de Dieu, les choses se sont beaucoup améliorées pour lui, Dieu lui rendant le double de tout ce qu’il avait perdu (voir Job 42: 10-16).

Dieu veut toujours se révéler personnellement à nous.
Seulement, il reste important que nous sachions reconnaître les situations et les moments par lesquelles Dieu se révèle personnellement à nous.

PRIÈRE :
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de reconnaître tous les moments par lesquels vous vous revelez personnellement à nous.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

God ensures the protection of all whom he recognizes as his children.

To Jerusalem, God had given the following message:
« No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. »(Isaiah 54:17)

Jerusalem of today is the Church, it is us all whom Yahweh recognizes as his children and who also recognizes him as our God and our Father, it is all of us who answered the call of Jesus to follow the path of salvation that He came to offer us.
Peace and justice now characterize us.

God being with us and for us, everything that comes against us remains without effect:
When the world curses us, God blesses us, when the world judges us and condemns us, God justifies us, and even when death takes us away, God has already reserved for us the resurrection and the eternal life.
This is the inheritance of the sons of God.

And you, are you also among those whom God recognizes as his children?

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us to always recognize You as our Father.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ 4that we pray.

Dieu assure la protection de tous ceux qu’il reconnaît comme ses enfants.

À Jérusalem, Dieu avait donné le message suivant:
« Toute arme forgée contre toi sera sans effet, et toute langue qui s’élèvera pour contester avec toi, tu la condamneras. Tel est l’héritage des fils de Yahweh ; telle est la justice qui leur viendra de moi — oracle de Yahweh. »(Isaïe 54:17)

Jérusalem d’aujourd’hui c’est l’Église, c’est nous tous que Yahweh reconnaît comme ses enfants et qui le reconnaissons aussi comme notre Dieu et notre Père, c’est nous tous qui avons répondu à l’appel de Jésus de suivre la voie du salut qu’il est venu nous proposer,
La paix et la justice nous caractérisent désormais.

Dieu étant avec nous et pour nous, tout ce qui vient contre nous reste sans effet:
Lorsque le monde nous maudit, Dieu Lui nous bénit, lorsque le monde nous juge et nous condamne, Dieu nous justifie, et même lorsque la mort nous emportera, Dieu nous aura déjà réservé la résurrection et la vie éternelle.
Telle est l’héritage des fils de Dieu.

Et vous, êtes-vous aussi parmi ceux que Dieu reconnaît comme ses enfants ?

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de toujours vous reconnaître comme notre Père.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

« A friend loves at all times! »
What a truth applied to Him who is called our friend!
Never has his love been, or will be, wanting for a moment and under any circumstances.

« A brother is born for adversity. »
In misfortune, he becomes a brother. »
Indeed, it is in difficulties that we experience what a brother is.
Of the same nature, of the same origin, having the same interests as us, sharing our troubles, helping us with his resources, who could replace him?
Does not he seem like born for that moment?

That is God who gives us friends.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us real friends.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

« L’ami aime en tout temps! »
Quelle vérité appliquée à Celui qui s’appelle notre ami!
Jamais son amour n’a fait, ni ne fera défaut un seul instant et dans quelque circonstance que ce soit.

« Dans le malheur, il devient un frère. »
Effectivement, c’est dans les difficultés, que nous éprouvons ce qu’est un frère.
De même nature, de même origine, ayant les mêmes intérêts que nous, partageant nos peines, nous aidant de ses ressources, qui pourrait le remplacer?
Ne semble-t-il pas comme né pour ce moment-là?

Un ami, c’est Dieu qui nous le donne.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de vrais amis.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

If the way of God is characterized by fear, intelligence, righteousness, vigilance, that of the wicked is characterized by pride.

« Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. »(Proverbs 16:18)

No vice is more punished than this one: pride goes before « destruction ».
And unfortunately, by pride, Satan has managed to lose the man.

« Haughty spirit » is a part of pride but different from it by the fact that it does not expose anyway the man to destruction, but it surely exposes him to the fall, even in the way of God (that is to say that it can characterize a believer).

Warning !
After the fall, the restoration is possible by the grace of God, while the destruction does not involve rebuilding.
Let us be humble dear brothers and sisters.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us to remain humble to please your eyes.
