UBUSHOBOZI BW’UBUSA

Kuva kera na rindi, umuntu yamye yipfuza inzira yoroshye. Ashaka kugera hejuru ku musozi atabanje guca mu mwonga, kwemerwa atabanje kubiharanira, kuyobora atabanje kuyoborwa. Uko gukunda ivyoroshe niko kwugururira Satani umuryango: Satani aba aronse akaryo ko kutubwira inzira ziwe zigaragara neza ariko zidusenya.

Mu bugaragwa, yabwiye Yesu ati: «Ndaguha ubu bubasha bgose n’ubgiza bgabgo, kuko jewe nabuhawe, kandi mbuha uwo ngomba wese: nuko ni wampfukamira, ukansenga, ubgo bgose buraba ubgawe.»(Luka 4:6-7)

Ariko hari itandukaniro hagati y’ubushobozi buva hasi(kwa satani) n’ubuva mw’ijuru(ku Mana).

Ubushobozi Satani atanga butera ubwibone, ubuja n’urupfu.

Ubushobozi Mpwemu Yera atanga butera kwiyorosha, uguca bugufi, ugukorera abandi n’ubuzima buhoraho.

Ubushobozi nyakuri si ugutsinda abandi canke gutangaza isinzi, ahubwo ni ugukorera abandi mu rukundo rwa Kristo.
Yesu yavuze ati: «muzohabga ubushobozi, Mpwemu Yera ni yabazako, muzoba ivyabona vyo kunshingira intahe i Yerusalemu, n’i Yudaya hose, n’i Samariya, no gushitsa ku mpera y’isi.» (Ivyakozwe 1:8)

IGISABISHO:
Uhoraho Mwami Imana yanje, ndinda kurondera ubushobozi bworoshe butuma nsenyuka.
Nyuzuza na Mpwemu wawe kugira ngo ubuzima bwanje bunezerere Izina ryawe kandi bukorere Ubwami bwawe.
Ni mw’izina ridasanzwe ry’umwana wawe Yesu Kristo ndabisavye, Amen.

DO NOT CROSS THE LINE

« If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity. »
Deuteronomy 25:11-12

This biblical passage presents a surprising scene: a woman tries to defend her husband in a fight, but she does it in the wrong way.
Her action, though motivated by protection, becomes shameful and unacceptable.
As a result, the Law condemns her gesture.

The lesson is clear: even when our intentions are good, we must be careful about the means we use.
The end never justifies the means.

Spiritual examples:
A believer wants to defend the truth of the Gospel, but if he does it with hurtful words, he dishonors Christ.
A parent wants to correct a child, but if it is done violently, it destroys rather than builds.
A husband or wife wants to save their home, but if lies or manipulation are used, the situation only worsens.

In our daily battles—whether in family, work, or spiritual life—it is easy to cross the red line out of anger, fear, or impulse.
But God calls us to maintain dignity, integrity, and holiness in everything we do.

Application for us:
Defend the truth, yes—but with love and respect.
Protect our loved ones, yes—but without shameful actions.
Stand for our rights, yes—but without denying God’s principles.

The real spiritual battle is not won with flesh and blood, but with the weapons of the Spirit: faith, prayer, truth, and love (Ephesians 6:10-18).

PRAYER:
Lord, help me to never cross the limits of Your justice in my battles.
Give me the wisdom to defend what is right with Your weapons, and not with my impulses.
May my words and actions always reflect Your holiness and truth.
It is in the name of Jesus Christ that I pray Amen.

WHEN EVERYTHING GETS HARDER

When God wanted to deliver Israel from Egypt, Pharaoh’s heart grew harder and harder. Each refusal made the burden heavier for the people.
But that was not the end: it was the prelude to God’s glory. The greater the oppression, the greater the deliverance that was coming (Exodus 14:13).

In the same way, Joseph went through prison before entering the palace (Genesis 41:41). Daniel faced the lions’ den before his promotion (Daniel 6:23).
Even Jesus endured the cross before the resurrection (Philippians 2:8-9).
In every case, the darkest night preceded the brightest light.

When everything grows darker, remember: God’s light is about to shine. When the burden feels heavy, it means deliverance is near. Just as with Israel, God sometimes allows situations to become impossible so that His glory may be revealed in an undeniable way.

In our lives, when trials intensify despite our prayers, it does not mean God has forgotten us. Rather, it is a sign that He is preparing a greater manifestation of His power.

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all..”(2 Corinthians 4:17)

So, do not lose courage! When everything gets harder, know that God is about to display His glory.

PRAYER:
Almighty God, when situations become heavy in my life, help me keep my eyes fixed on You. Like Israel before the Red Sea, like Joseph in his prison, like Jesus on the cross, I believe my trials are preparing my victory.
Manifest Your glory in my battles, and make my life a living testimony of Your power. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Apostle Dr. Jean-Claude SINDAYIGAYA

THE DECEPTIVE SATISFACTION

Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44).
His goal is to deceive man into thinking that true satisfaction can be found outside of God. But this satisfaction is deceptive, for it is rooted in sin, evil, and everything that displeases the Lord.

The Bible gives us several examples:

•Adam and Eve thought they would find happiness by eating the forbidden fruit, but instead they found shame and separation from God (Genesis 3:6-7).

•The people of Israel sought joy in idolatry, worshiping a golden calf, but this false satisfaction brought God’s judgment (Exodus 32:1-10).

•King Solomon, despite his wisdom and riches, sought fulfillment in pleasures and foreign women. But in the end, he confessed that it was all “meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun.”(Ecclesiastes 2:10-11).

•The rich young ruler believed his wealth was enough, but when Jesus called him to seek eternal treasure, he walked away sorrowful (Matthew 19:22).

Even today, many are deceived by this false satisfaction:

The fleeting pleasures of sin (immorality, alcohol, drugs),

The love of money and success,

The pursuit of fame through social media,

The pride of power and honor.

The Bible warns: “There is a way that appears to be right,
but in the end it leads to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

God is not pleased with this illusion.
He says: “My people have committed two sins:They have forsaken me,the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” (Jeremiah 2:13)

The good news is that Jesus Christ offers true satisfaction.
He said: “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35)
In Him alone, our souls find true rest and fullness.

The psalmist testifies: “For he satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things.” (Psalm 107:9)
That is why Jesus calls us: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

PRAYER:
Almighty God, preserve me from the deceptive satisfaction Satan offers.
Do not let me rejoice in what displeases You.
Fill my heart with Your presence, satisfy my soul with Your love, and help me to seek true joy in You alone.
It is in Jesus’ name that I pray, Amen.
