Scriptures say that we deserved death because we have all sinned, but God has given us the free gift of eternal life with him.

« For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. »(Romans 6:23)

Eternal life is something that we surely do not deserve and it is only by God’s grace that we are saved.
Let’s take a moment and thank God for rescuing us from what we deserve.
This attitude of God towards us pushes us to recognize that those who harm us and who really deserve punishment or to be brought to justice (to the police or to the courts) so that they receive a punishment or an adequate treatment, need our gift of grace ou forgiveness.
Do you understand that?
It’s not easy.

Lord our God, grant us to always meditate on your free gift of eternal life.

Les Écritures disent que nous méritons la mort parce que nous avons tous péché, mais que Dieu nous a donné gratuitement la vie éternelle avec Lui.

« Car le salaire du péché, c’est la mort; mais le don gratuit de Dieu, c’est la vie éternelle en Jésus Christ notre Seigneur. »(Romains 6:23)

La vie éternelle est quelque chose que nous ne méritions sûrement pas et c’est seulement par la grâce de Dieu que nous sommes sauvés.
Prenons un moment et remercions Dieu de nous avoir sauvés de ce que nous méritions.
Cette attitude de Dieu envers nous, nous pousse à reconnaître que ceux qui nous font du mal et qui méritent réellement d’être punis ou d’être traduits en justice (à la police ou dans les tribunaux) afin qu’ils reçoivent une punition ou un traitement adéquat, ont besoin de notre don de pardon.
Vous comprenez cela?
Ce n’est pas facile.

Did you know that we are responsible for each other?
The word of God exhorts us to give each other advice to prevent each other from all evil.

« When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. »(Ezekiel 3:18-19)

No one is born wicked, a man become wicked because of others.
On our part, we must not only ensure that no one becomes wicked because of us, but we must also warn the wicked men every time to turn them away from their wickedness and their evil ways.
Warning the wicked men not only saves their lives, but it is also for our own good.
Sometimes we fear to do it because we avoid getting into trouble, but let’s know that we are responsible for them.
So let us not fear them, let us warn them.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us that we may no longer be afraid to warn the wicked men in order to save their lives.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Saviez-vous que nous sommes responsables les uns les autres?
La parole de Dieu nous exhorte à nous donner mutuellement des conseils pour nous prévenir mutuellement de tout mal.

« Quand je dirai au méchant: Tu mourras! si tu ne l’avertis pas, si tu ne parles pas pour détourner le méchant de sa mauvaise voie et pour lui sauver la vie, ce méchant mourra dans son iniquité, et je te redemanderai son sang. Mais si tu avertis le méchant, et qu’il ne se détourne pas de sa méchanceté et de sa mauvaise voie, il mourra dans son iniquité, et toi, tu sauveras ton âme. »(Ezéchiel 3:18-19)

Personne ne naît méchant, l’homme devient méchant à cause des autres.
De notre part, nous devons non seulement veiller à ce que nul ne devienne méchant à cause de nous, mais aussi, nous devons chaque fois avertir les méchants pour les détourner de leur méchanceté et de leur mauvaise voie.
Avertir les méchants, c’est non seulement leur sauver la vie, mais c’est aussi pour notre bien.
Des fois nous nous en passons pour éviter de nous attirer des ennuis, mais sachons que nous sommes responsable d’eux.
Ne les craignons donc pas, avertissons-les.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne plus craindre d’avertir les méchants pour leur sauver la vie.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Ijambo ry’Imana ridushishikariza gutanga inama zo kurinda bagenzi bacu ibibi byose.

« Nimbwira umunyabyaha nti ‘Gupfa ko uzapfa’ nawe ntumuburire, cyangwa ngo uvugane n’umunyabyaha umwihanangiriza kuva mu nzira ye mbi ngo ukize ubugingo bwe, uwo munyabyaha azapfira mu byaha bye, ariko ni wowe nzabaza amaraso ye. Ariko nuburira umunyabyaha ntave mu byaha bye cyangwa mu nzira ye mbi, azapfira mu byaha bye, ariko weho uzaba ukijije ubugingo bwawe. »(Ezekiyeli 3:18-19)

Nta muntu wavutse ari umunyabyaha, umuntu ahinduka umunyabyaha kubera abandi.
Ku ruhande rwacu, ntitugomba gusa kwirinda gutuma hari uwaba umunyabyaha kubera twe, ahubwo tugomba no kuburira abantu b’abanyabyaha igihe cyose kugirango have mu byaha byabo no mu nzira zabo mbi.
Kuburira abantu babi cyangwa abanyabyaha, ntabwo bikiza ubuzima bwabo gusa, ahubwo natwe ubwacu bitugirira neza.
Rimwe na rimwe, dutinya kubikora kuko twirinda kwishora mu bibazo, ariko tumenye ko tubishinzwe.
Ntitubatinye rero, tubaburire.

Have you fallen into sin?
Don’t worry, if you have fallen into sin, remember that God is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
Return to Him, turn away from your bad behavior and receive his forgiveness.

« Come now, let us reason together, » says the LORD. « Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. »(Isaiah 1:18)

Satan the accuser would like your conscience to remain disturbed by a feeling of guilt for your sins and even those for which you have repented.
Its purpose is to keep you in bondage to fear and guilt.
And yet, God Himself, the Supreme Judge reassures you that no matter how serious your sins are (even if they are like crimson), if you decide to repent, they become white as snow.
What then is this sin which prevents you from peace?
Confess it to God, repent and forget it, for God Himself forgets it after having forgiven you for it.
God Himself tells you:
« I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. »(Isaiah 43:25)
Have peace !

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to no longer feel guilty for the sins for which we have already repented.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
