STANDING FIRM TO THE END

“But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
(Matthew 24:13)

When Jesus spoke to His disciples about the signs of the end times, His purpose was not to instill fear, but to awaken vigilance and strengthen their faith.
He wanted them to understand that difficult times do not mean God has abandoned them; rather, they are opportunities to prove faithfulness and endurance.

In this passage, the Lord describes a world in turmoil: wars, famines, earthquakes, persecution, betrayal, false prophets, and the cooling of love.
Though these events are troubling, believers should not be surprised. Jesus clearly said, “These things must happen.” They are part of God’s divine plan unfolding.

Yet in the midst of all this chaos, one promise shines brightly: “He who endures to the end shall be saved.”
To persevere is not to sit and wait idly, but to continue walking faithfully in the face of hardship. Perseverance means holding on to faith when everything seems to fall apart. It means continuing to love when the love of many has grown cold.
It means standing firm in truth when false prophets deceive the crowds.

A true disciple is not known by his initial excitement, but by his steadfastness until the end.
Many begin well, but give up when trials arise. The Lord is looking for hearts that remain steadfast even in suffering.

Remember, perseverance is not a human strength but a divine grace granted to those who rely on God.
When times are hard, cling to His Word, pray continually, and fix your eyes on Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2).
He alone strengthens, comforts, and sustains those who long to go all the way with Him.

Indeed, salvation belongs to those who never let go of the Lord’s hand.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, in a world where the love of many grows cold,
grant me the strength to persevere until the end.
When trials come and fear tries to overcome me, remind me that You are faithful and that Your promises never fail.
Renew the fire of Your love within me, and keep me steadfast in the truth of Your Word.
I choose to remain close to You
until I see Your face
and enter Your everlasting kingdom. Amen.

PERSÉVÉRER JUSQU’À LA FIN

«Mais celui qui persévérera jusqu’à la fin sera sauvé.»
(Matthieu 24:13)

Lorsque Jésus annonça à ses disciples les signes de la fin des temps, son discours n’était pas destiné à semer la peur, mais à éveiller la vigilance et à fortifier la foi.
Il voulait que ses disciples sachent que les temps difficiles ne sont pas une preuve de l’abandon de Dieu, mais un terrain où la fidélité se manifeste et où la persévérance s’éprouve.

Dans ce passage, le Seigneur décrit un monde bouleversé: guerres, famines, tremblements de terre, persécutions, trahisons, faux prophètes et refroidissement de l’amour.
Ces réalités, bien que terribles, ne doivent pas surprendre le croyant.
Jésus dit clairement:
«Il faut que ces choses arrivent.»
Autrement dit, elles font partie du processus qui conduit à l’accomplissement du plan divin.

Mais au cœur de ce chaos, une parole se détache comme une lumière d’espérance:
«Celui qui persévérera jusqu’à la fin sera sauvé.»
La persévérance n’est pas simplement le fait d’attendre passivement la délivrance, mais de continuer à marcher fidèlement malgré les obstacles.
Persévérer, c’est garder la foi quand tout semble s’effondrer.
C’est continuer à aimer quand la charité du plus grand nombre se refroidit.
C’est tenir ferme à la vérité quand les faux prophètes séduisent les foules.

Le véritable disciple n’est pas reconnu seulement par son enthousiasme du début, mais par sa constance jusqu’à la fin.
Beaucoup commencent bien, mais s’essoufflent au premier vent contraire.
Le Seigneur cherche des cœurs qui demeurent attachés à Lui, même au milieu des épreuves.

Souviens-toi que la persévérance n’est pas une force humaine, mais une grâce que Dieu accorde à ceux qui s’abandonnent à Lui.
Quand les temps deviennent durs, appuie-toi sur la Parole, prie sans relâche et garde tes yeux fixés sur Jésus, «le chef et le consommateur de la foi» (Hébreux 12:2).
C’est Lui qui soutient, console et fortifie ceux qui veulent aller jusqu’au bout.

En vérité, le salut appartient à ceux qui ne lâchent pas la main du Seigneur.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur Jésus, dans un monde où tant de cœurs se refroidissent, donne-moi la force de persévérer jusqu’à la fin.
Quand les épreuves s’abattent et que la peur veut m’envahir,
rappelle-moi que Tu es fidèle et que Tes promesses ne faillent jamais.
Renouvelle en moi le feu de Ton amour, et garde-moi ferme dans la vérité de Ta Parole.
Je veux demeurer à Tes côtés, jusqu’à ce que je voie Ton visage et que j’entre dans Ton royaume. Amen.

Yashakaga ko bamenya ko ibihe bigoye atari ikimenyetso cy’uko Imana yabaretse, ahubwo ko ari igihe cyo kugaragaza kwizera no kwihangana nyakuri.

Muri iki gice, Umwami avuga isi yuzuye akaduruvayo: intambara, inzara, imyuzure, ibinyoma, urwango n’uburiganya.
Ariko Yesu yavuze ati: “Ibyo byose bigomba kubaho.”
Ni igice cy’umugambi w’Imana uri mu nzira yo gusohorwa.

Nyamara hagati y’ayo makuba yose, ijambo rimwe ryuzuye ibyiringiro riravuga riti: “Uwihangana akageza imperuka ni we uzakizwa”
Kwihangana si ukwicara wategereje, ahubwo ni ukuguma mu byo kwizera n’ubudahemuka n’ubwo ibintu byaba bikomeye.

Kwihangana si imbaraga za muntu, ahubwo ni ubuntu Imana iha abayiringira.
Igihe ibihe bikomeye, fata ku Ijambo ryayo, usenge udacogora, kandi witegereze Yesu, “Banze ryo kwizera kwacu” (Abaheburayo 12:2).

Umwigishwa w’ukuri ntamenyekana ku kuntu atangura kugaragara, ariko amenyekanira ku kuntu aguma ari intahemuka gushika ku mpera.
Benshi batangura neza, ariko bagacika intege mu bigeragezo. Ariko Umwami arondera imitima iguma yizigira naho ibintu bigoye.

Kwihangana s’inguvu z’umuntu, ahubwo ni ubuntu bw’Imana buhabwa abayishimikizako.
Igihe ibintu bigoye, fata kw’Ijambo ryayo, usenge udacika intege, kandi uhange amaso Yesu, “ni we nyanduruko yo kwizera kwacu” (Abaheburayo 12:2). Ni We atanga imbaraga, ihumure n’ubushobozi bwo kuguma ku Mana gushika ku mpera.

Ukuri ni uku: agakiza n’ak’abatarekura ukuboko kw’Umwami.

HALLELUJAH: THE CRY OF DIVINE VICTORY

Introduction: The Meaning of the Word “Hallelujah”

The word “Hallelujah” (or “Alleluia”) comes from the Hebrew expression הַלְלוּ יָהּ (halĕlû-Yah), which literally means:
“Praise Yahweh” or “Praise the Lord.”

“Halelu” is the plural imperative of the verb halal, meaning to praise, to glorify, to celebrate.

“Yah” is the shortened form of the divine name Yahweh.

Thus, Hallelujah is not merely a joyful exclamation; it is a call to praise, an invitation to glorify God, and in the Bible, a cry of spiritual triumph whenever God manifests His power and faithfulness.

In the Psalms, Hallelujah often introduces or concludes calls to worship (Psalm 113:1; 150:1).
In Revelation 19:1–6, it becomes the heavenly shout of victory after the fall of evil and the establishment of God’s eternal reign.
Therefore, it carries both a prophetic and a spiritual dimension—a word of faith and a declaration of divine sovereignty.

1. Hallelujah: The Cry of Those Who Have Seen God’s Hand

When God acts, His people respond with a cry: Hallelujah!
It springs from the hearts of those who have experienced the faithfulness and the might of the Lord.

“The LORD has done great things for us,and we are filled with joy.”(Psalm 126:3)

Every deliverance, every answered prayer, every victory hides a Hallelujah.
It is the cry of gratitude, proclaiming that only God deserves the glory.
Where man boasts, the believer declares: Hallelujah, for it was not me—it was the Lord!

2. Hallelujah: Praise in the Midst of Battle

The truest meaning of Hallelujah is revealed in the heart of adversity.
It is not a word reserved for visible victories,
but an act of faith, proclaimed before the victory is seen.

“I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”(Psalm 34:1)

To say Hallelujah when everything seems lost is to declare:
“My God reigns, even when I don’t yet understand His ways.”

It becomes a spiritual weapon and a prophetic proclamation.
The enemy trembles when a weary believer lifts his eyes to heaven and says Hallelujah!
Because that word affirms:
“No matter the circumstance, God is still worthy of praise.”

3. Hallelujah: The Song of the Victorious Kingdom

In Revelation 19, heaven resounds with the song:
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.”(Revelation 19:1)

This is the anthem of God’s final triumph.
The word Hallelujah appears four times in this passage, symbolizing the complete and eternal victory of Christ over evil, corruption, and injustice.
It reminds us that this cry belongs not only to the Church on earth but also to the Church in heaven—the angels and the redeemed joining together in perfect worship.

Every Hallelujah we speak on earth is an echo of heaven,
a participation in the eternal worship of the King of kings.

4. Hallelujah: A Way of Life

Hallelujah is not just a word sung in church; it is a spiritual attitude.
It means choosing gratitude instead of complaint, seeing God’s hand in the smallest details, and trusting that His plan is good even when it’s hidden.

« Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. »(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

To say Hallelujah every day is to live with the conviction that God reigns—always, everywhere, in all things.
It is to let our lives become a continual song of praise.

PRAYER

Lord our God, we want to say Hallelujah, not only when everything is good, but even in the midst of our struggles.

We know that You reign, that You fight for us, and that Your justice will always prevail.

Fill our hearts with praise,
make our lives a living Hallelujah, and let every breath we take become an act of worship.

When Your reign is fully revealed, may our voices join those of heaven to sing forever:
Hallelujah! Glory to the Lamb who has overcome! Amen.

ALLÉLUIA: LE CRI DE LA VICTOIRE DIVINE

Introduction: La signification du mot “Alléluia”

Le mot Alléluia (ou Hallelujah) vient de l’hébreu הַלְלוּ יָהּ (halĕlû-Yah), qui signifie littéralement :
«Louez Yahweh» ou «Louez le Seigneur».

“Halelu” est l’impératif pluriel du verbe halal, qui veut dire louer, célébrer, glorifier.

“Yah” est la forme abrégée du nom de Dieu, Yahweh.

Ainsi, Alléluia n’est pas un simple mot de joie ou d’exclamation religieuse :
c’est un appel à la louange, une invitation à glorifier Dieu, et dans la Bible, un cri de triomphe spirituel lancé lorsque Dieu agit puissamment.

Dans les Psaumes, le mot Alléluia est souvent utilisé pour inviter le peuple de Dieu à la louange (Psaume 113:1, 150:1).
Dans l’Apocalypse (19:1–6), il devient le chant de victoire du ciel après la chute du mal et l’établissement du règne de Dieu.
C’est donc à la fois un mot de foi, un cri prophétique, et une expression de reconnaissance.

2. Alléluia: La louange au milieu du combat

Le vrai sens d’Alléluia se révèle aussi au cœur de l’épreuve.
Ce n’est pas un mot réservé à la victoire visible,
mais un acte de foi proclamé avant même que la victoire soit vue.

«Je bénirai l’Éternel en tout temps; sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche.»(Psaume 34:2)

Dire Alléluia quand tout semble perdu, c’est déclarer :
“Mon Dieu règne, même si je ne comprends pas encore comment Il agit.”

C’est une arme spirituelle, une proclamation prophétique:
le diable tremble quand un croyant affaibli lève les yeux au ciel et dit Alléluia !
Parce que ce mot affirme:
“Peu importe les circonstances, Dieu est toujours digne d’être loué.”

3. Alléluia: Le chant du Royaume victorieux

Dans Apocalypse 19, le ciel entier chante:
«Alléluia ! Le salut, la gloire et la puissance sont à notre Dieu !»(Apocalypse 19:1)

C’est le chant du triomphe final de Dieu.
Le mot Alléluia y résonne quatre fois, pour marquer la pleine victoire du Christ sur le mal, la corruption et l’injustice.
Ce passage montre que ce cri n’appartient pas seulement à l’Église terrestre, mais aussi à l’Église céleste : les anges, les rachetés et les armées du ciel célèbrent ensemble le règne de Dieu.

Chaque Alléluia que nous prononçons ici-bas est donc un écho du ciel, une participation à la louange éternelle.
Nous rejoignons par ce mot le chœur des saints, qui proclament déjà la victoire éternelle de Dieu.

4. Alléluia: Un mode de vie

L’Alléluia n’est pas seulement un mot que l’on chante à l’église, mais une attitude intérieure.
C’est vivre dans la reconnaissance, même quand la vie ne semble pas juste.
C’est voir la main de Dieu dans les petites choses du quotidien.
C’est refuser la plainte pour choisir la louange.

«Rendez grâces en toutes choses, car c’est à votre égard la volonté de Dieu en Jésus-Christ.»(1 Thessaloniciens 5:18)

Dire Alléluia chaque jour, c’est reconnaître que Dieu est toujours là, qu’Il règne, et qu’Il conduit tout vers un but glorieux.

Seigneur notre Dieu,
nous voulons te dire Alléluia, non pas seulement lorsque tout va bien, mais même au cœur des combats.

Nous savons que tu règnes, que tu combats pour nous, et que ta justice triomphera toujours.

Remplis nos cœurs de louange,
fais de nos vies un Alléluia vivant, que chaque respiration soit une adoration.

Et lorsque ton règne sera pleinement manifesté, que nos voix s’unissent à celles du ciel pour chanter éternellement:

2. Halleluya: Ishimwe hagati mu bigeragezo

Ukuri kw’ijambo Halleluya kugaragarira cyane mu bihe bikomeye.
Si ijambo ryo kuvuga gusa igihe ibintu byagenze neza,
ahubwo ni ikimenyetso cy’ukwizera, kivugwa na mbere y’uko intsinzi igaragara.

“Nzahimbaza Uwiteka iminsi yose,Ishimwe rye rizaba mu kanwa kanjye iteka.”(Zaburi 34:2)

Kuvuga Halleluya mu gihe byose bisa nabi ni ukwemeza uti:
“Imana yanjye iracyari ku ngoma, nubwo ntarasobanukirwa uko ibikora.”

Ni intwaro y’umwuka, kandi ni itangazo ry’ubuhanuzi.
Satani arikanga igihe uwizera Imana wacitse intege areba mu ijuru akavuga Halleluya!
Kuko icyo gihe aba atangaje ati:
“N’aho byose byaba bimeze bite, Imana iracyakwiriye ishimwe.”

3. Halleluya: Indirimbo y’Ubwami bw’intsinzi

Mu Ibyahishuwe 19, ijuru ryose riraririmba riti:
“Haleluya! Agakiza n’icyubahiro n’ubutware ni iby’Imana yacu.”(Ibyahishuwe 19:1)

Ni indirimbo y’intsinzi ya nyuma y’Imana.
Ijambo Halleluya rigaruka inshuro enye muri uyu murongo, rigaragaza intsinzi yuzuye ya Kristo ku cyaha, ku bibi, no ku butware bw’umwijima.
Ritwibutsa ko iri jwi ritari iry’isi gusa, ahubwo ni ijwi ry’ijuru—abamarayika n’abacunguwe baririmba hamwe bati: “Imana iratsinze!”

Buri Halleluya tuvuga hano ku isi ni ijwi ryunga n’iryo mu ijuru, rikaba ubufatanye n’indirimbo y’iteka y’Ubwami bw’Imana.

4. Halleluya: Uburyo bwo kubaho

Halleluya si ijambo ryo kuririmbwa ku rusengero gusa,
ahubwo ni ubuzima bw’ishimwe.
Ni uguhitamo gushima aho kwinuba, kubona ukuboko kw’Imana mu bintu bito,
no kwizera ko imigambi yayo ari myiza nubwo tutayumva yose.

“Mu bibaho byose muhore mushima, kuko ari byo Imana ibashakaho muri Kristo Yesu.”(1 Abatesalonike 5:18)

Kuvuga Halleluya buri munsi ni ukwemeza ko Imana iri ku ngoma,
mu bihe byose, mu buryo bwose, no mu mibereho yose.
Ni uguhindura ubuzima bwawe indirimbo y’ishimwe itarangira.

ISENGESHO:
Mwami wacu n’Imana yacu,
turavuga Halleluya, atari igihe byose bigenda neza gusa,
ahubwo no hagati mu bigeragezo n’intambara.

Turizera ko uri hejuru ya byose, ko urwanira abana bawe,
kandi ko ubutabera bwawe buzahora butsinda.

Ujye mu mitima yacu utwuzuze ishimwe, utugire ubuzima bw’Halleluya buzima,
kandi uduhe ko buri guhumeka kwacu kuba isengesho ryo kugushima.

Igihe ubwami bwawe buzahishurwa rwose, amajwi yacu azifatanye n’ay’ijuru kuririmba iteka ryose: Halleluya! Icyubahiro kibe ku Mwana w’Intama watsinze! Amen.

HALLELUYA: IJWI RY’INTSINZI Y’IMANA

Insiguro y’ijambo “Halleluya”

Ijambo “Halleluya” rikomoka mu rurimi rw’igiheburayo הַלְלוּ יָהּ (halĕlû-Yah), risobanura ngo:
“Muninahaze Yahweh” canke “Muninahaze Umwami.”
“Halelu” ni ijambo ryavuye ku mvugo halal, risigura gutazira, guhimbaza, kuninahaza.
“Yah” ni ishusho ngufi y’izina ry’Imana Yahweh.

N’uko rero, Halleluya si ijambo ryo kunezerwa gusa, ahubwo n’ugushimagiza no guhimbaza Imana, kandi muri Bibiliya, ni ijwi ry’intsinzi y’umwuka iyo Imana yerekanye ububasha bwayo n’ubudahemuka bwayo.

Muri Zaburi, Halleluya ikunda gukoreshwa mu gusaba abantu bose guhimbaza Imana (Zaburi 113:1; 150:1).
Mu Vyahishuwe 19:1–6, iba indirimbo y’intsinzi yo mw’ijuru, inyuma y’uko ikibi gitsinzwe n’ubwami bw’Imana bushinze burundu.
N’ijambo ryuzuye ukwizera, ubuhanuzi, n’ubuninahazwa.

1. Halleluya: Ijwi ry’ababonye ukuboko kw’Imana

Iyo Imana ikoze, abantu bayo baranezerwa bati Halleluya!
Iryo jambo riva mu mitima y’ababonye ukudahemuka n’ububasha bw’Imana.

“Uhoraho yadukoreye ibikomeye,
Natwe turanezerewe.”(Zaburi 126:3)

Mu gukira, mu gusubizwa amasengesho, mu gutsinda, haba Halleluya.
N’ijwi ry’umutima ushima, ryerekana ko Imana yonyene ari yo ikwiye icubahiro.
Hako umuntu yivugira ati “nabikoze”, uwizera Imana we avuga ati:
« Halleluya, si jewe, ni Imana yabikoze! »

2. Halleluya: Gushemeza Imana hagati mu ntambara

Ubushobozi bw’ijambo Halleluya bugaragara cane mu gihe c’ukubabazwa.
S’ijambo ryo gukoresha gusa iyo ubonye intsinzi, ahubwo n’igikorwa c’ukwizera, kivugwa n’imbere y’uko intsinzi iboneka.

“Nzokwama mpimbaza Uhoraho ibihe vyose, Ishimwe ryiwe rizoba mu kanwa kanje urudaca.”(Zaburi 34:2)

Kuvuga Halleluya mu gihe ibintu vyose bisa nabi, ni ukwemeza uti:
“Imana yanje iracyari ku ngoma naho ntabona uko ibikora.”

N’inkoho y’umwuka, kandi n’itangazo ry’ubuhanuzi.
Satani arahungabana igihe uwizera Imana yananiwe ariko agaterera amaso mw’ijuru akavuga Halleluya!
Kuko iryo jambo rigaragaza ko:
“N’aho vyose vyogenda gute, Imana iracyakwiye ishimwe.”

3. Halleluya: Indirimbo y’ubwami bw’intsinzi

Mu Vyahishuwe 19, ijuru ryose riraririmba riti:
“Haleluya ; agakiza n’ubgiza n’ububasha n’ivy’Imana yacu.”(Ivyahishuriwe Yohana 19:1)

N’indirimbo y’intsinzi y’Imana ya nyuma.
Ijambo Halleluya rihagarara kane muri uwo murongo, rikerekana intsinzi yuzuye ya Kristo ku bibi, n’ubutungane bw’Imana bugaragara.
Ritwibutsa ko Halleluya atari indirimbo y’isi gusa, ahubwo ar’ijwi ry’ijuru—aho abamarayika n’abacunguwe baririmbira hamwe bati:
“Imana iratsinze!”

Buri Halleluya tuvuga hano kw’isi ni uko twiyunga n’ab’i juru, tukabwirana nabo indirimbo ihoraho.

4. Halleluya: Ubuzima bwo guhimbaza

Halleluya s’ijambo ryo kuririmba ku rusengero gusa,
n’ubuzima bw’ukwizera.
N’ukugira umutima ushima aho kwinuba, kubona ukuboko kw’Imana mu bintu bito,
no kwizera ko imigambi yayo ari myiza naho tutayumva.

“Mwame mukenguruka muri vyose, kukw ico ari co Imana ibagombako muri Kristo Yesu.”(1 Ab’Itesalonike 5:18)

Kuvuga Halleluya buri munsi ni ukwemeza ko Imana iri ku ngoma,
mu ibihe vyose, ahariho hose, no muri vyose.
N’uguhindura ubuzima bwawe indirimbo y’ishimwe ihoraho.

IGISABISHO:

Mwami wacu n’Imana yacu,
turavuga Halleluya, atari iyo ibintu vyose bigenda neza gusa,
ahubwo no hagati y’imibabaro.

Turazi ko uri hejuru ya vyose,
ko urwanira abana bawe,
kandi ko ubutungane bwawe buzotsinda.

Shira mu mitima yacu indirimbo y’ishimwe, duhindure ubuzima bwacu Halleluya buzima,
maze umwuka wacu ube ishimwe rihoraho.

Igihe ubwami bwawe buzohishurwa rwose, amajwi yacu yifatanye n’ay’ijuru kuguma avuga:
Halleluya! Ubwiza bube ku Mwana w’Intama watsinze!

DO NOT MOVE AN ANCIENT BOUNDARY STONE

“Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.”(Proverbs 22:28)

“Do not move an ancient boundary stone or encroach on the fields of the fatherless, for their Defender is strong; he will take up their case against you.”(Proverbs 23:10-11)

In God’s divine wisdom, everything has its boundaries.
The seas have their shores, nations have their borders, families have their inheritances, and every person has their own portion.
These boundaries are not meant to limit us but to protect us from greed, injustice, and chaos.

When the Bible says, “Do not move an ancient boundary,” it speaks not only of physical stones, but of a spiritual principle: the respect of what God has established.

In many developing countries today, most court cases involve land disputes. People move the boundaries to enlarge their land, often taking advantage of the poor, widows, or orphans.

But such actions reveal a heart corrupted by greed and a lack of fear of God.
He who moves the boundary to take what belongs to another forgets that:
“The Lord Himself is the defender of the fatherless.”
He may escape human justice, but never God’s justice.

God personally takes the side of the oppressed.
Whenever a powerful person abuses their position to steal from the weak, it is as though they touch what belongs to God Himself.

To move boundaries is to move away from your own blessing, for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
The Lord will always rise to restore justice, even when men remain silent.

There are also moral and spiritual boundaries set by God:
truth,
faithfulness,
integrity,
purity,
and respect for others.
Many, in their pursuit of wealth, success, or power, have shifted these boundaries.
They lie, cheat, and corrupt.
But God still warns:
“Do not move the boundaries I have set, for your safety lies within them.”

PRAYER:
Lord God,
You are the God of justice, the defender of the weak, and the guardian of inheritance.
Forgive our generation for moving the boundaries of truth, justice, and righteousness.
Restore in us the fear of Your Name, and give us hearts of integrity.
Teach us to be content with our portion, and to defend those who are unjustly oppressed.
May Your Spirit help us build a society founded on truth,
and may we never move the boundaries You have established.
