When men had begun to multiply on the face of the earth, the Eternal Yahweh saw that human wickedness was great on earth and that human hearts contrived nothing but wicked schemes all day long.
* »Yahweh regretted having made human beings on earth and was grieved at heart. »*(Genesis 6:5-6)
Although our God is LOVE, He is indignant when He sees man denying Him, ignoring Him, indulging in idolatry, persisting and sinking into evil and sin without worrying about Him.
And He’s grieved at his heart.
Doesn’t He regret when he sees your behavior?
Would you be one of those who grieve God?
And if * »For God’s justice will surely mean hardship being inflicted on those who are now inflicting hardship on his faithful ones »*(2 Thessalonians 1:6), will not God afflict those who grieve him personally?
The mission of Jesus, the lion of the tribe of Judah, is to save you so that you will not be afflicted one day.
Welcome Jesus and accept his deliverance.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to never grieve you again.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
