DON’T BE A DWELLING PLACE OF SORROW

When Satan continues to cause you problems that hurt your heart, he wants you to be a dwelling place of sorrow.
But Jesus wants you to have peace in your heart.

When Jesus appeared to his disciples after his resurrection, he said to them:
“Peace be with you!”(John 20:19)

When Jesus had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Indeed, at that time, they had locked themselves in a hidden place, fearing persecution from the Jews.

The death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection brought us peace because Jesus Christ is the Lord of peace.
So we must resist the devil so that he does not make us a place of sorrow.
As children of God, we are to be a place of peace and joy.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to not allow Satan to make us dwelling places of sorrow.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
