Fulfilling our heart’s desires or simply achieving our goals is a powerful source of happiness and a sense of accomplishment.
« Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. »(Proverbs 13:12)
Indeed, the inability to progress towards personal goals (hope deferred) can lead to conditions such as depression and anxiety, this is what the Bible calls « the sick heart ».
But, setting goals and achieving them boosts happiness, motivation, and self-esteem, which is what the Bible calls « a tree of life. »
However, we need to be determined and disciplined to be able to fulfill our desire.
May God bless our goals and help us achieve them.
PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, give us the grace to be disciplined and steadfast so that we could achieve our goals.
It is in the precious name of Jesus Christ that we pray.
