It is regrettable to see that Christians give up Sunday services for other less important appointments, such as sports, family outings, the sauna, massage sessions, etc.
« Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing… »(Hebrews 10:25)
In our meetings, we listen to the Word of God, we receive the life of Christ and we also build the Church.
To give up meeting together is to miss good, constructive and even prophetic words from God useful for our lives.
To give up meeting together is also a way of compromising the union of the church or the body of Christ.
And in reality, behind the abandonment of the assemblies hides an evil spirit of divisions of which Satan is the author, because he fears the unity and the strength of prayer of Christians.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the strength to resist everything that prevents us from participating in the various assemblies of our Churches.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.
