I AM GOING TO PUT AN END TO THIS PROVERB

In the days of Ezekiel, people in Israel had become rebels against God and had started to make mocking speeches against God, saying that the days go by and every vision comes to nothing!

It was then that God had to send the prophet Ezekiel to the people of Israel to tell them:
« This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will n longer quote it in Israel.’ Say to them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. »(Ezekiel 12:23)

The people who look at us ignore God’s plans for us and the visions we expect.
Not knowing what God has said about us, they dare to make fun of us.
Especially when they see that we are in a bad life, or that we have suffered many tragedies in life, they say that God has abandoned us, that God is punishing us for the sins we have committed, and other bad words.
So don’t let sneering talk discourage us, let’s just keep faith and trust in God.
The day that what God has said about us will fulfill, all this mocking talk against Him and against ourselves will cease.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to never be discouraged by derisive talk.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
