David sang:
« I rejoiced with those who said to me, « Let us go to the house of the LORD. »(Psalm 122:1)
David sang to express his feelings, because he was happy, with joy, to go and gather with others in the house of God.
Do you also rejoice when you go to the house of the Lord?
Some go to church because it has become a custom, a routine.
Others go there to meet friends, as there are those who go there because they want to gather in the house of God.
The reasons for this are many and varied.
I wish you all to feel the joy of going to church because when Satan wants to take you away from God, he first creates in you a disgust for going to church and gathering with the saints.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always feel the joy of going to church.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray to you in faith, Amen.
