Jesus addressed a parable to his disciples, to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

He said: In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’
For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, « Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming! »(Luke 18:4-5)
And the Lord said, « Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? »(Luke 18:7)

Persevering in prayer is very difficult. Not only are we not always consistent in this discipline, but we lose courage when time passes and we do not get our requests answered.
However, God is not unfaithful. He answers the prayers of his children, even when they do not see it as quickly as they would like.
The ability to wait is part of spiritual maturity, and that is what God desires for us. So let us pray tirelessly, and use patience and perseverance, for in this process God is shaping us into the image of Christ.
Indeed, « to be a Christian without praying is no more possible than to be alive without breathing! »
Prayer must become like our breathing.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be able to pray to you without giving up.

Jésus adressa une parabole à ses disciples, pour leur montrer qu’il faut toujours prier, et ne point se relâcher.

Il dit: Il y avait dans une ville un juge qui ne craignait point Dieu et qui n’avait d’égard pour personne. Il y avait aussi dans cette ville une veuve qui venait lui dire: Fais-moi justice de ma partie adverse.
Pendant longtemps il refusa. Mais ensuite il dit en lui-même: « Quoique je ne craigne point Dieu et que je n’aie d’égard pour personne, néanmoins, parce que cette veuve m’importune, je lui ferai justice, afin qu’elle ne vienne pas sans cesse me rompre la tête. »(Luc 18:4-5)
Le Seigneur ajouta: Entendez ce que dit le juge inique. Et « Dieu ne fera-t-il pas justice à ses élus, qui crient à lui jour et nuit, et tardera-t-il à leur égard? »(Luc 18:7)

Persévérer dans la prière est très difficile. Non seulement nous ne sommes pas toujours constants dans cette discipline, mais nous perdons courage quand le temps passe et que nous n’obtenons pas d’exaucement à nos requêtes.
Cependant, Dieu n’est pas infidèle. Il exauce les prières de ses enfants, même quand ceux-ci ne le constatent pas aussi promptement qu’ils le voudraient.
La capacité d’attendre tient de la maturité spirituelle, et c’est ce que Dieu désire pour nous. Prions donc sans nous lasser, et usons de patience et de persévérance, car durant ce processus, Dieu nous façonne à l’image de Christ.
En effet, « être un chrétien sans prier n’est pas plus possible qu’être en vie sans respirer! »
La prière doit devenir comme notre respiration.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui êtes aux cieux, donnez-nous de pouvoir vous prier sans relâcher.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Yesu alitoa mfano kwa wanafunzi wake, ili kuwaonyesha kwamba wanapaswa kusali siku zote wala wasikate tamaa.

Akasema, Palikuwa na kadhi katika mji fulani, hamchi Mungu, wala hajali watu. Na katika mji huo palikuwa na mwanamke mjane, aliyekuwa akimwendea-endea, akisema, Nipatie haki na adui wangu.
Naye kwa muda alikataa; halafu akasema moyoni mwake, « Ijapokuwa simchi Mungu wala sijali watu, lakini, kwa kuwa mjane huyu ananiudhi, nitampatia haki yake, asije akanichosha kwa kunijia daima. »( Luka 18:4-5)
Bwana akasema, Sikilizeni asemavyo yule kadhi dhalimu. « Na Mungu, je! Hatawapatia haki wateule wake wanaomlilia mchana na usiku, naye ni mvumilivu kwao? »(Luka 18:7)

Kudumu katika maombi ni ngumu sana. Sio tu kwamba mara kwa mara hatuwi thabiti katika nidhamu hii, lakini tunapoteza ujasiri wakati unapita na hatujibiwi maombi yetu.
Hata hivyo, Mungu ni mwaminifu. Anajibu maombi ya watoto wake, hata wakati hawaoni haraka kama wangependa.
Uwezo wa kungoja ni sehemu ya ukomavu wa kiroho, na hivyo ndivyo Mungu anatamani kwetu. Kwa hiyo tuombe bila kuchoka, na tutumie subira na ustahimilivu, kwani kwa utaratibu huu Mungu anatutengeneza katika sura ya Kristo.
Hakika, « kuwa Mkristo bila kusali haiwezekani zaidi ya kuwa hai bila kupumua! »
Maombi lazima yawe kama kupumua kwetu.

Baba yetu uliye mbinguni, utujalie tuweze kukuomba bila kukata tamaa.

Nuko Umwami Yesu arabaza ati « Ntimwumvise ibyo umucamanza ukiranirwa yavuze? Ubwo bibaye bityo, Imana se yo ntizarengera intore zayo ziyitakira ku manywa na nijoro? Mbese yazirangarana? »(Luka 18:7)

Kwihangana mu masengesho biragoye cyane. Uretse ko tudahora mur’iyi gahunda yo gusenga buri gihe, ariko turacika intege iyo igihe kirenze tutabona ibisubizo.
Ariko, Imana ntabwo ihemuka. Isubiza amasengesho y’abana bayo, nubwo batabibona vuba nkuko babyifuza.
Ubushobozi bwo gutegereza ni igice cyo gukura mu mwuka, kandi nibyo Imana idushakaho. Reka rero dusenge ubudacogora, kandi dukomeze kwihangana, kuko mu gusenga Imana iduhindura mu ishusho ya Kristo.
Ubundi mubyukuri, « kuba umukristo udasenga ntibishoboka nko kubaho udahumeka! »
Amasengesho agomba guhinduka nk’uguhumeka kwacu.

Data wa twese uri mu ijuru, duhe kubaho tugusenga tutarambirwa.
Ni mu izina ry’agaciro ry’umwana wawe Yesu kristo tubisabye, Amen.

Kand’ Umwami Yesu aravuga, ati « Ni mwumve ivyo uyo mucamanza agabitanya yavuze. None mbeg’ Imana ntizocira abo yatoranije urubanza rubakiza, bayiborogera ku murango no mw ijoro, nah’ ibatevya? »(Luka 18:7)

Kwihangana mu masengesho biragoye cane. Uretse ko tudahora muvyo gusenga buri gihe, ariko turadehukirwa iyo igihe kibaye kirekire tutabona ibisubizo ku masengesho yacu.
Ariko, Imana ntihemuka. Irasubiza amasengesho y’abana bayo, n’ubwo batabibona vuba nk’uko bavyifuza.
Ubushobozi bwo kurindira ni igice co gukura mu mpwemu, kandi nivyo Imana idushakako.
Reka rero dusenge ijoro n’umutaga, kandi dukomeze kwihangana, kuko, burya mu gusenga, Imana iraduhindura mw’ishusho rya Kristo.
Kandi noneho, muvy’ukuri, « kuba uwa kristo udasenga ntibishoboka nko kubaho udahema! »
Amasengesho ategerezwa guhinduka nk’uguhema kwacu.

IGISABISHO:
Dawe wa twese uri mw’ijuru, dushoboze guhora tugusenga tutarambirwa.

Reflecting the heart, wisdom, and nature of God is the goal of anyone who seeks to be a godly man.

How then is a godly man?
• He repents when he sins (1 John 1:9)
• He considers himself dead to sin but alive to God (Romans 6:1-4, 11)
• He seeks to be humble rather than to be exalted (Proverbs 27:2)
• He seeks to be a servant rather than demanding to be served (Mark 10:45)
• He seeks to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18; Acts 13:52; Galatians 5:25)
• He desires to please the Lord more than himself (2 Corinthians 5:9)
• He bears fruit for the kingdom of God (John 15:5-8)

A godly man is not a perfect man, but he strives daily to pattern his life after Jesus.
He does not excuse the sins and weaknesses he finds in himself, but he continually asks God for help in overcoming them (Romans 6:11-14).
Any man can be a godly man if he loves God with all his heart and seeks to obey Him in all areas of his life (Luke 10:27; Galatians 2:20).

Do you want to be godly or you already the one?
If you are not yet godly, seek to be godly to please God.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be godly with all our heart.

Refléter le cœur, la sagesse et la nature de Dieu est le but de quiconque cherche à être un homme pieux.

Comment est alors un homme pieux ?
• Il se repent quand il pèche (1 Jean 1:9)
• Il se considère mort au péché mais vivant pour Dieu (Romains 6:1-4, 11)
• Il cherche à rester humble plutôt qu’à s’exalter (Proverbes 27:2)
• Il cherche à être serviteur plutôt que d’exiger qu’il soit servi (Marc 10:45)
• Il cherche à être continuellement rempli du Saint-Esprit (Éphésiens 5:18 ; Actes 13:52 ; Galates 5:25)
• Il désire plaire au Seigneur plus qu’à lui-même (2 Corinthiens 5:9)
• Il porte du fruit pour le royaume de Dieu (Jean 15:5-8)

Un homme pieux n’est pas un homme parfait, mais il s’efforce quotidiennement de modeler sa vie sur Jésus. Il n’excuse pas les péchés et les faiblesses qu’il trouve en lui-même, mais il demande continuellement son aide à Dieu pour les surmonter (Romains 6:11-14).
Tout homme peut être un homme pieux s’il aime Dieu de tout son cœur et cherche à lui obéir dans tous les domaines de sa vie (Luc 10:27 ; Galates 2:20).

Veux-tu être pieux ou tu l’es déjà?
Si tu ne l’es pas encore, cherches à l’être pour plaire à Dieu.

• Anatafuta kujazwa na Roho Mtakatifu daima (Waefeso 5:18; Matendo 13:52; Wagalatia 5:25)
• Anatamani kumpendeza Bwana kuliko nafsi yake (2 Wakorintho 5:9)
• Anazaa matunda kwa ajili ya ufalme wa Mungu (Yohana 15:5-8)

Mtu anayemcha Mungu si mwanadamu mkamilifu, lakini anajitahidi kila siku kuiga maisha yake kulingana na Yesu.
Hatoi udhuru kwa dhambi na udhaifu anaoupata ndani yake, bali anamwomba Mungu kila mara msaada wa kuzishinda (Warumi 6:11-14).
Mtu yeyote anaweza kuwa mcha Mungu ikiwa anampenda Mungu kwa moyo wake wote na kutafuta kumtii katika maeneo yote ya maisha yake (Luka 10:27; Wagalatia 2:20).

Je! unataka kuwa mcha Mungu au wewe tayari ndiye?
Ikiwa wewe bado hujamcha Mungu, tafuta kuwa mcha Mungu ili kumpendeza Mungu.
