PEACE AND LOVE ARE POSSIBLE

The Bible tells us that all species of animals lived together peacefully in Noah’s ark!

« Every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings. Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark. »(Genesis 7:14-15)

If all the animals were able to live in peace, without attacking each other, in Noah’s ark, it is proof that we humans can live in love and in peace.
Imagine, the lion did not devour the lamb and the snake did not bite the man!
Despite the various conflicts between humans and despite their enmities, we have the proof that peace and love are possible and the word of God exhorts us to seek what contributes to peace and mutual edification.
« Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. »(Romans 14:19)
What are you doing then to contribute to the peace and mutual edification of the members of your family, the members of your church, the neighbors in your neighborhood or the colleagues in your socio-professional environment?

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to always seek what contributes to peace and love among human beings.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
