Fear easily takes root in the hearts of Christians who ignore or forget who they are in the eyes of God.
A lack of awareness of our identity in Christ opens the door to anxiety, doubt, and insecurity.
But those who know to whom they belong can boldly say:
“If God is for us, who can be against us?”(Romans 8:31)
The truth is, we are not always faithful to God. At times, we may forget Him, neglect Him, or even drift away.
Yet, God never stops being for us.
We may deny Him, but He will never deny us.
We may abandon Him, but He will never abandon us.
He remains faithful, even when we are not.
In every situation—whether delicate or dangerous—if we truly knew that God loves us and that He will never let us go, we would have no reason to fear.
Remember: God gave what He valued most—His only Son—because of His great love for us.
The Bible says:
“You were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”(1 Corinthians 6:20)
If we are so precious that we were bought with the blood of Jesus Christ, then we can be sure that nothing can harm us without His permission.
The One who loves us so much will never abandon us to fear.
PRAYER
Eternal God, open our eyes to be fully aware that You are always with us and for us.
Help us to live in the assurance of Your faithful love, so that all fear may be cast out.
