On Easter morning, while the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. The priests then consulted with the leaders of the people, and decided together to conceal what had happened.

« When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, « You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble. » So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day. »(Matthew 28:12-15)

So, they had just invented a conspiracy theory that the resurrection is a lie. Now, if Jesus is not resurrected, the Christian faith would be in vain, and we would be reduced to:

1. Living a baseless life
Our faith would be an illusion and without object:
« If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. »(1 Corinthians 15:14)
« And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile. »(1 Corinthians 15:17a)

2. Living a life without forgiveness of our sins
Jesus was delivered up for our sins, and « he was raised was raised to life for our justification. »(Romans 4:25)
If then Christ has not been raised, our faith is futile; we are still in our sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.(Read 1 Corinthians 15:17-18)

3. Living a life without victory
If Jesus rose, he defeated death and evil and that means that we too can overcome evil.
« We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. »(Romans 8:37)
But, if he is not resurrected, we are doomed to live a life without victories over death and all evil.

4. Living a life without hope
The resurrection of Christ announces ours! Without his, the expectation of ours evaporates.
« If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. »(Romans 6:5)

This is the purpose of this conspiracy, to keep us in fear of death and under the dominion of sin and all evil.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to never take part in this plot against the resurrection of Jesus.
It is in the precious name of your very son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen

Le matin de Pâques, tandis que les femmes sont en chemin pour annoncer la résurrection de Jésus aux disciples, quelques gardes du tombeau se rendent auprès des prêtres auxquels ils devaient répondre de leur mission. Les prêtres tiennent alors conseil avec les responsables du peuple, et décident ensemble de dissimuler ce qui s’est passé.

« Ceux-ci, après s’être assemblés avec les anciens et avoir tenu conseil, donnèrent aux soldats une forte somme d’argent, en disant: Dites: Ses disciples sont venus de nuit le dérober, pendant que nous dormions. Et si le gouverneur l’apprend, nous l’apaiserons, et nous vous tirerons de peine. Les soldats prirent l’argent, et suivirent les instructions qui leur furent données. Et ce bruit s’est répandu parmi les Juifs, jusqu’à ce jour. »(Matthieu 28:12-15)

Ainsi, ils venaient d’inventer une théorie du complot selon lequel la résurrection est un mensonge. Or, si Jésus n’est pas ressuscité, la foi chrétienne serait vaine, et nous serions réduits à:

1. Vivre une vie sans fondement
Notre foi serait une illusion et sans objet:
« Si Christ n’est pas ressuscité, notre prédication est donc vaine, et votre foi aussi est vaine. »*(1 Corinthiens 15:14)
« Et si Christ n’est pas ressuscité, votre foi est vaine. »(1 Corinthiens 15:17a)

2. Vivre une vie sans pardon de nos péchés
Jésus a été livré pour nos péchés, et « il est ressuscité pour que nous soyons déclarés justes. »(Romains 4:25)
Si alors Christ n’est pas ressuscité, nous sommes encore sous le poids de nos péchés. Et de plus, ceux qui sont morts unis à Christ sont à jamais perdus.(Lire 1 Corinthiens 15:17-18)

3. Vivre une vie sans victoire
Si Jésus est ressuscité, il a vaincu la mort et le mal et cela signifie que nous pouvons nous-aussi vaincre le mal.
« Nous sommes plus que vainqueurs par celui qui nous a aimés. »(Romains 8:37
Mais, s’il n’est pas ressuscité, nous sommes condamnés à vivre une vie sans victoires sur la mort et tout mal.

4. Vivre une vie sans espérance
La résurrection de Christ annonce la nôtre! Sans la sienne, l’attente de la nôtre s’évapore.
« Car si nous avons été unis à lui par une mort semblable à la sienne, nous le serons aussi par une résurrection semblable à la sienne. »(Romains 6:5)

Voilà le but de ce complot, nous maintenir dans la peur de la mort et sous la domination du péché et de tout mal.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne jamais prendre part à ce complot contre la résurrection de Jésus.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ même que nous prions, Amen

Uko, niko bahimbye igitekerezo cyo kugambanira ko izuka ari ikinyoma.
Noneho, niba Yesu atarazutse, kwizera kwa gikristo kwaba ari impfabusa, kandi:

1. Twaba tubayeho ubuzima budafite ishingiro
Ukwizera kwacu kwaba kwibeshya kandi nta gaciro gufite:
« Niba Kristo atazutse ibyo tubwiriza ni iby’ubusa, no kwizera kwanyu kuba kubaye uk’ubusa. »(1 Abakorinto 15:14)
« Kandi niba Kristo atazutse kwizera kwanyu ntikugira umumaro. »(1 Abakorinto 15: 17a)

2. Twaba tubayeho ubuzima tutababariwe ibyaha byacu
Yesu yatanzwe kubw’ibyaha byacu, kandi « yazutse kugira ngo dutsindishirizwe. »(Abaroma 4:25)
Niba rero Kristo atarazutse, kwizera kwacu ntikugira umumaro; turacyari mu byaha byacu. Noneho n’abasinziriye muri Kristo bararimbutse.(Soma 1 Abakorinto 15:17-18)

3. Twaba tubayeho ubuzima nta ntsinzi
Niba Yesu yazutse, yatsinze urupfu n’ikibi kandi bivuze ko natwe dushobora gutsinda ikibi.
« Turushishwaho kunesha n’uwadukunze. »(Abaroma 8:37)
Ariko, niba atarazutse, tugomba kubaho ubuzima butagira intsinzi ku rupfu no mu bibi byose.

4. Twaba tubayeho nta byiringiro
Izuka rya Kristo riratangaza iryacu! Hatari irye, ibyiringiro byacu byo kuzuka ntabyabaho.
« Ubwo twateranijwe na we gusangira urupfu nk’urwe, ni ko tuzaba duteranijwe na we gusangira kuzuka nk’ukwe. »(Abaroma 6:5)

Ngiyo intego yubu bugambanyi, kugirango dukomeze gutinya urupfu no kuba imbata z’icyaha n’ibibi byose.

Yamara, asangwa Yesu atazutse, ukwizera kwa gikristo kwoba ari impfagusa, kandi twoba:

1. Tubaho ubuzima butagira ishingiro
Ukwizera kwacu kwoba kwibesha kandi ata gaciro gufise:
« Asangwa Kristo atazutse, ivyo twigisha n’ivy’ ubusa, n’ukwizera kwanyu n’ukw’ ubusa. »(1 Ab’i Korinto 15:14)
« Kandi asangwa Kristo atazutse, ukwizera kwanyu n’ukw’ ubusa. »(1 Abakorinto 15:17a)

2. Tubaho ubuzima tutababariwe ivyaha vyacu
Yesu yatanzwe kubera ibicumuro vyacu, kandi « yazutse kugira ngo dutsindanishirizwe. »(Abaroma 4:25)
Asangwa rero Kristo atazutse, ukwizera kwacu n’ukw’ ubusa, turacari mu vyaha vyacu. Kand’ asangwa bimeze birtyo, n’abasinziririye muri Kristo barayogeye.(Soma 1 Abakorinto 15:17-18)

3. Tubaho ubuzima buzira gutsinda
Asangwa Yesu yarazutse, yatsinze urupfu n’ikibi kandi bisigura ko natwe dushobora gutsinda ikibi.
« Turushishwaho kunesha n’uwadukunze. »(Abaroma 8:37)
Ariko, niba atazutse, dutegerezwa kubaho ubuzima butagira intsinzi ku rupfu no ku bibi vyose.

4. Tubaho ata vyizigiro
Izuka rya Kristo riratangaza iryacu! Iryiwe ritabayeho, ivyizigiro vyacu vyo kuzuka ntivyobaho.
« Ko twakoranijwe na we n’igishushanyo c’urupfu rwiwe, tuzokoranywa na we n’ic’ ukuzuka kwiwe na co. »(Abaroma 6:5)

Ngiyo intego yiryo rementanya, kugira ngo dukomeze gutinya urupfu no kuba abaja b’icaha n’ibibi vyose.

IGISABISHO:
Uhoraho Mwami Mana yacu, duhe kutigera tugira uruhara muri uyu mugambi wo kurwanya izuka rya Yesu.
