Correction can be a difficult thing to accept, but it is very useful for life.
« He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding. »(Proverbs 15:32)
Although we trust and appreciate ourselves, the reality is that no one is exempt from making mistakes.
This is why we all need to be corrected or brought back to order from time to time.
It is constructively; for if correction leads to the preservation of life and soul, he who neglects or despises it throws himself into as much danger as if he hated himself.
Refusing the discipline therefore only makes things worse. Those who refuse it sink into evil and inevitably expose themselves to all the consequences linked to this evil.
Never refuse correction.
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always accept correction.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
