Whatever troubles us must bow down and bow their knee before the name of Jesus!
When a severely demon-possessed man saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, « What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me! »
But, after Jesus had commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man, those demons immediately came out and fled from that man. The man remained fully cured and sane.(Read Luke 8,26-36)
The Bible tells us that « God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow. »(Philippians 2,9-10)
This name is powerful because it is the name of the one who died for us, who rose from the dead and who today is at the right hand of God, for us!
It is the name which is above all names, and for which each knee must and will bow!
This is why each of our problems, diseases, even those recognized as incurable such as cancer and AIDS, challenges such as poverty, shame and fear, must throw themselves at the feet of Jesus like these demons, bow down and kneel if they hear the name of Jesus.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to always call on the name of Jesus in difficult situations.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
