Un homme, invalide depuis trente-huit ans, était resté allongé devant la piscine de Béthesda avant que Jésus n’y vienne le guérir.

Lorsque Jésus y est arrivé, ce malade lui a dit:
« Seigneur, je n’ai personne pour me jeter dans la piscine quand l’eau est agitée, et, pendant que j’y vais, un autre descend avant moi. »(Jean 5:7)

En effet, personne n’avait eu pitié de cet homme! Il a fallut que Jésus y arrive.
Si toi aussi tu es abandonné, et que personne parmi ceux qui te sont proches ne veut te sauver ou t’aider à sortir d’une mauvaise situation que tu traverses, attends dans la foi, Dieu t’enverra une personne qui convient pour ta situation.
Attends et prends courage!

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, envoyez-nous des personnes utiles pour nous aider à sortir de nos situations difficiles.

As Peter had accompanied Jesus to the high priest, a woman guarding the door recognized him and asked him:
« You aren’t one of this man’s disciples too, are you? »(John 18:17)

Although Peter denied it, this woman had already seen him among the disciples of Jesus.
But, today as we do not see anyone following Jesus, because he is in heaven, how do we recognize those who belong to Christ?
It is up to acts and their conduct.
Can your neighbors, co-workers, friends, and all who observe you by your actions and conduct recognize that you belong to Christ?

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to conduct ourselves worthily of the gospel of Christ. (Philippians 1:27)

Alors que Pierre avait accompagné Jésus auprès du souverain sacrificateur, une femme qui gardait la porte le reconnut et lui dit:
« Ne fais-tu pas partie, toi aussi, des disciples de cet homme ? »(Jean 18:17)

Bien que Pierre le nia, cette femme l’avait pourtant déjà vu parmi les disciples de Jésus.
Mais, aujourd’hui qu’on ne voit personne suivre Jésus, parce qu’il est au ciel, comment reconnaît-on ceux qui appartiennent à Christ?
C’est à actes et à leur conduite.
Est-ce que par tes actes et ta conduite, tes voisins, tes collègues, tes amis et tous ceux qui t’observent peuvent-ils reconnaître que tu appartiens à Christ?

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à nous conduire d’une manière digne de l’Évangile de Christ.(Philippiens 1:27)

When God promised Abraham that his wife Sarah would give birth to a son, Abraham laughed.

Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?” (Genesis 17:17)

To hear that a hundred-year-old man and a ninety-year-old woman can give birth to a child, is a very funny story, and it would be a miracle of one time.
But when it is said by God, it is acceptable because what God says happens.

May God tells you a good news that makes you laugh and change your history and your life.
Amen.

Lorsque Dieu a promis à Abraham que sa femme Sarah donnerait naissance à un fils, Abraham a ri.

Abraham tomba sur sa face; il rit, et dit en son coeur: « Naîtrait-il un fils à un homme de cent ans? et Sara, âgée de quatre-vingt-dix ans, enfanterait-elle? » (Genèse 17 :17)

Entendre qu’un homme de cent ans et une femme de quatre-vingt-dix ans peuvent donner naissance à un enfant, c’est une histoire très drôle, et ce serait un miracle d’une fois.
Mais quand c’est dit par Dieu, c’est acceptable parce que ce que Dieu dit arrive.

Que Dieu vous annonce une bonne nouvelle qui vous fasse rire et changer votre histoire et votre vie.
Amen.

If man is what he says, he is also what he does. But when what a man says does not match what he does, there is inevitably doubt about his personality.

So what can we do when we see others acting hypocritically or pretending to be righteous when in fact they are not?
Jesus tells us:
« Therefore, all things whatsoever that they shall say to you, observe and do. Yet truly, do not choose to act according to their works. For they say, but they do not do. »(Matthew 23:3)

Our relationship with God being personal, the hypocrisy of God’s servants or of anyone else should be neither a reason nor an alibi for not obeying His laws, for not being just or for imitating those who do the evil.

PRAYER:
Lord our Father, help us not to act according to the works of the hypocrites.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Si l’homme est ce qu’il dit, il est aussi ce qu’il fait. Mais lorsque ce que l’homme dit ne concorde pas avec ce qu’il fait, il y a inévitablement doute sur sa personnalité.

Que pouvons-nous alors faire lorsque nous voyons les autres agir hypocritement ou feindre d’être justes alors qu’en réalité ils ne le sont pas?
Jésus nous dit:
« Faites donc et observez tout ce qu’ils vous disent; mais n’agissez pas selon leurs oeuvres. Car ils disent, et ne font pas. »(Matthieu 23:3)

Notre relation avec Dieu étant personnelle, l’hypocrisie des serviteurs de Dieu ou de qui que ce soit, ne doit être ni une raison, ni un alibi pour ne pas obéir à ses lois, pour ne pas être justes ou pour imiter ceux qui font le mal.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Père, aidez-nous à ne pas agir selon les œuvres des hypocrites.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

Each individual has a person who begot him and whom he calls « father » but we all also have a « Father » in common who is in heaven, our God.

However, Jesus said:
« Do not choose to call anyone on earth your father. For One is your Father, who is in heaven. »(Matthew 23:9)

Jesus did not want to prevent us from calling our natural fathers who begot us « father ».
No, « father » here is used in the sense of creator, of the one who is at the origin of everything and transmits everything: life, good, happiness, etc.
God wants to have this place in the life of every Christian. If it then happen to us, to attribute this name to a human simply because of his authority over us, our dependence on him or for some other crazy reason, and grant him the place of God in our hearts, God becomes jealous because it is idolatry.

PRAYER:
Lord our Father, grant us to never give your place in our lives to human beings.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Chaque individu a une personne qui l’a engendré et qu’il appelle « père » mais nous avons tous aussi un « Père » en commun qui est au ciel, notre Dieu.

Toutefois, Jésus dit:
« N’appelez personne sur la terre votre père, car un seul est votre Père, c’est celui qui est au ciel. »(Matthieu 23:9)

Jésus n’a pas voulu nous empêcher d’appeler « père » nos pères naturels qui nous ont engendrés.
Non, «père» ici, est utilisé dans le sens de créateur, de celui qui est à l’origine de tout et transmet toute chose: la vie, le bien, le bonheur, etc.
Dieu veut avoir cette place dans la vie de tout chrétien. S’il nous arrive alors d’attribuer ce nom à un humain tout simplement à cause de son autorité sur nous, de notre dépendance à lui ou pour une autre fole raison, et de lui accorder la place de Dieu dans nos cœurs, Dieu devient jaloux parce que c’est l’idolâtrie.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Père, donnez-nous de ne jamais donner votre place dans nos vies à des êtres humains.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Did you know that Jesus came to reveal only one name of God to us?
Our Lord Jesus came to reveal the name “Father.”
That is the name by which God wants you to call Him.

And just for knowing that name, God will protect you!
“I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.”(Psalm 91:14)

Father speaks of family and of closeness and intimacy. You can know God as Elyon, the Most High, as El Shaddai, God Almighty, as Yehovah, the covenant-keeping God, as Elohim, mighty Creator of the heavens and the earth, but, when you know God as Father, all His virtues, attributes, and power work for you to set you on high and deliver you (Psalm 91:15-16).

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always call you Father.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
