Il existe une grande différence entre une épouse et une prostituée.

La prostituée n’appartient à personne tandis que l’épouse n’appartient qu’à un seul homme.

La prostituée ne cherche que la poche tandis que l’épouse cherche à conquérir le cœur.

La prostituée cherche à embellir son extérieur pour plaire aux hommes tandis que l’épouse embellie son intérieur (caractère) pour plaire à son homme.

DE MÊME, IL Y A 2 TYPES DE CHRÉTIENS DANS LE MONDE :

1) Les uns viennent à L’Église comme des prostituées
Et
2) Les autres comme des épouses.

Les prostituées viennent vers Dieu et vont vers d’autres dieux en même temps, ils ont des idoles dans leurs cœurs et ne veulent pas appartenir à un seul Dieu.

En venant vers Dieu, les prostituées ne visent que leur besoins (mariages, voyages, argent, voitures, maisons, élévations, prestiges, m’as tu vu, etc. ..) mais L’épouse cherche à entretenir une relation profonde avec Dieu, elle cherche à mieux Le connaître et vivre selon la volonté divine.

Les chrétiens (prostituées) ont transformé les moments de louange et d’adoration en des moments de divertissements mais l’épouse elle, adore parce qu’elle est fascinée, éblouie par Son époux et par Sa nature.

SACHEZ QUE JÉSUS-CHRIST VIENDRA PRENDRE SON ÉPOUSE ET NON UNE PROSTITUÉE.

RECONSIDÉRONS NOS VOIES DEVANT LE SEIGNEUR.

Cherchons toujours à Le connaître Lui et Lui plaire en toutes circonstances.

« J’ai conçu pour vous une jalousie de Dieu; car je vous ai fiancés à un époux unique, pour vous présenter au Christ comme une vierge pure. »
(2 Corinthiens 11:2)

Genesis 3:9
« Where are you? »

MEDITATION:
After man sinned, he found himself far from God, and has therefore lost his dominion, his dignity, his happiness, his innocence, his purity, his peace, and thus he lost himself.
It was then that God came to search for him to save him and asked him :
« Where are you ? »
This issue proves two things:
1. On the one hand, that sin separate man from God: If being found guilty, he is gone to hide and he is lost.
2. On the other hand, that God saves man from evil in which sin leads to: it is by his grace that God came looking for the man to pull him from where he was removed.
We find, therefore, that the sinner has the price in the eyes of God.
And how the sinful man replied to the faithfulness and the grace of God, which called him and said to him: « Where are you? »
Alas ! The response of Adam reveal the deepest of the evil into which he had fallen. He replied: « I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. »
And the Lord God said: « Who showed you that you were naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree of which I have commanded thee not to eat? »
And the man said: « The woman whom thou hast given me to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate » (v10-12).
We see Adam rejecting, in fact, his shameful fall on the circumstances in which God had placed them; that is to say indirectly about God himself.
It has always been thus in the fallen man; he accuses everyone and all things, except himself.
We also, instead of accusing the other or to throw the responsibility on God, rather, we should examine ourselves deeply, ask ourselves where we are, compared to God, acknowledge our wrong and respond to the grace of God who wants to save us.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the strength to avoid anything that moves us away from You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Genèse 3:9
« Où es-tu? »

MÉDITATION:
Après que l’homme ait péché, il s’est retrouvé éloigné de Dieu, et a par conséquent perdu sa domination, sa dignité, son bonheur, son innocence, sa pureté, sa paix, et ainsi, il s’est perdu lui-même.
C’est alors que Dieu vint à sa recherche pour le sauver et lui demanda :
« Où es-tu ? »
Cette question prouve deux choses:
1. D’une part, que le péché éloigne l’homme de Dieu: S’étant reconnu coupable, il est allé se cacher et il s’est perdu.
2. D’autre part, que Dieu sauve l’homme du mal dans lequel le péché l’entraine: c’est par sa grâce que Dieu est venu chercher l’homme pour le tirer d’où il s’était retiré.
Nous constatons donc que le pécheur a du prix aux yeux de Dieu.
Et comment donc l’homme pécheur répondit-il à la fidélité et à la grâce de Dieu, qui l’appelait et lui disait: « Où es-tu? »
Hélas ! La réponse d’Adam ne fait que révéler la profondeur du mal dans lequel il était tombé. Il répondit: « J’ai entendu ta voix dans le jardin, et j’ai eu peur, car je suis nu, et je me suis caché. »
Et l’Éternel Dieu dit: « Qui t’a montré que tu étais nu? As-tu mangé de l’arbre dont je t’ai commandé de ne pas manger? »
Et l’homme dit: « La femme que tu m’as donnée pour être avec moi, elle, m’a donné de l’arbre, et j’en ai mangé » (versets 10-12).
Nous voyons Adam rejeter, de fait, sa honteuse chute sur les circonstances dans lesquelles Dieu l’avait placé; c’est-à-dire indirectement sur Dieu lui-même.
Il en a toujours été ainsi de l’homme déchu; il accuse tout le monde et toutes choses, excepté lui-même.
Nous aussi, au lieu d’accuser les autres ou de jeter la responsabilité sur Dieu, nous devrions plutôt nous examiner profondément, nous demande où nous sommes par rapport à Dieu, reconnaître notre mal et répondre à la grâce de Dieu qui veut nous sauver.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la force d’éviter tout ce qui nous éloigne de Vous.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

Isaiah 5:11
Woe to those who rise early in the morning, to run after their strong drinks, who stay up late at night till wine inflame them!

MEDITATION:
The fifth chapter of the book of the prophet Isaiah speaks of six woes pronounced against the various characters of the iniquity:
-The first woe: for all those who are characterized by the lust and the eagerness to acquire and keep everything for them. (v 8-10)
-The second woe is aimed at those who are characterized by the intoxication and the pleasures of the world. (v 11-17)
– The Third woe relates to those who do evil knowingly in defiance of God and of his judgment. (v 18, 19)
– The fourth woe concerns those who confuse evil and good, light and darkness, sweetness and bitterness (v-20)
-The fifth woe concerns those who have a high opinion of themselves and of their intelligence. (v 21)
-The sixth woe is for those who use their energy to get drunk with the things of the world, who are advocates of evil who benefits and who blacken those who do good. (v 22, 23)
The anger of the Lord will come against all of them, and the judgment of God will consume them and all their glory.
On the exhilaration and pleasures of the world, spoken of in verse 11, which is the subject of our meditation, the misfortune was in the captivity, hunger, and thirst, and finally the tomb, and the righteous judgment.
What is real is the fact that, because of drunkenness, the man destroy himself, his body and his honor, is exposed to all evil and all sin, and finally, the righteous judgment.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the wisdom and strength to avoid drunkenness.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Isaïe 5:11
Malheur à ceux qui courent dès le matin après les boissons enivrantes, et qui, le soir, prolongent leur orgie, échauffés par le vin!

MÉDITATION:
Le cinquième chapitre du livre du prophète Isaïe parle de six malheurs prononcés contre les différents caractères de l’iniquité:
-Le premier malheur: concerne tous ceux qui sont caractérisés par la convoitise et l’ardeur à acquérir et tout garder pour eux. (v 8-10)
-Le deuxième malheur vise ceux qui sont caractérisés par l’ivresse et les plaisirs du monde. (v 11-17)
– Le Troisième malheur concerne ceux qui font le mal sciemment au mépris de Dieu et de son jugement. (v 18, 19)
– Le quatrième malheur concerne ceux qui confondent le mal et le bien, la lumière et les ténèbres, la douceur et l’amertume. (v 20)
-Le cinquième malheur concerne ceux qui ont une haute opinion d’eux-mêmes et de leur intelligence. (v 21)
-Le sixième malheur concerne ceux qui emploient leur énergie pour s’enivrer des choses du monde, qui se font les défenseurs du mal qui leur profite et qui noircissent ceux qui font le bien. (v 22, 23)
La colère de l’Éternel s’embrasera contre tous ceux-là et le jugement de Dieu les consumera ainsi que toute leur gloire.
Sur l’ivresse et les plaisirs du monde, dont parle le verset 11, qui est sujet de notre méditation, le malheur consistait en la captivité, la famine et la soif, enfin le sépulcre et le juste jugement.
Ce qui est réel est le fait que, à cause de l’ivresse, l’homme détruit lui-même son corps, s’expose à tout mal et à tout péché et enfin, le juste jugement.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la sagesse et la force d’éviter l’ivresse.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

John 13:14-15
« If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. »

MEDITATION:
After having shown the disciples what he would do to them of the glory in which he would enter, the Lord returns to the table with them and urge them to fulfill this service to each other.
He said: « If I, your lord and master, I have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, so that, you should do as I have done to you. »
If we have the same life as the Lord, and if we are animated by the same love to him, we have to wear a mutual interest in which the model is in him.
More concretely, we must seek to bring back our brothers, soiled by any negligence, so that they should renew the fellowship lost between us.
And to get there, we will use the Word of God to produce in our brothers and sisters guilty, the conviction of their sin and bring them to confess it to God.
If it is an offence personal, they will confess also to those to whom, they will have offenced.
Then the restoration can take place by the Word which, after having shown the horror of evil, to see that, on the side of God, nothing has changed; his love is always the same; it touches the heart and produces true repentance and a full restoration.
Everything is not only washed, but wiped, as the Lord did with the towel with which he was girded; there remains no trace of defilement.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the courage and strength to imitate your son, Jesus Christ.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Jean 13:14-15
« Si donc moi, le Seigneur et le Maître, je vous ai lavé les pieds, vous devez aussi vous laver les pieds les uns aux autres. Car je vous ai donné l’exemple, afin que, comme je vous ai fait, vous fassiez aussi vous-mêmes. »

MÉDITATION:
Après avoir montré aux disciples ce qu’il ferait pour eux de la gloire dans laquelle il allait entrer le Seigneur se remet à table avec eux et les exhorte à accomplir ce service les uns envers les autres. Il leur dit: « Si donc moi, le seigneur et le maître, j’ai lavé vos pieds, vous aussi vous devez vous laver les pieds les uns aux autres. Car je vous ai donné un exemple, afin que, comme je vous ai fait, moi, vous aussi vous fassiez ».
Si nous possédons la même vie que le Seigneur, et si nous sommes animés du même amour que lui, nous avons à nous porter un intérêt réciproque dont le modèle est en lui.
Plus concrètement, nous devons chercher à ramener nos frères, souillés par une faute quelconque, afin qu’ils jouissent à nouveau de la communion perdue entre nous.
Et pour y arriver, nous nous servirons de la Parole de Dieu, afin de produire chez nos frères coupables, la conviction de leur faute et de les amener à la confesser à Dieu.
Si c’est une offense personnelle, ils la confesseront aussi à ceux envers qui, il auront manqué.
Alors la restauration peut avoir lieu par la Parole qui, après avoir montré l’horreur du mal, fait voir que, du côté de Dieu, rien n’a changé; son amour est toujours le même; cela touche le cœur et produit une vraie repentance et une pleine restauration.
Tout est non seulement lavé, mais essuyé, comme le Seigneur le fit avec le linge dont il était ceint; il ne reste aucune trace de souillure.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la force et le courage d’imiter votre fils Jésus-Christ en tout.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

Romans 10:11
« Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. »

MEDITATION:
Some wonder if they have a true faith or a faith that is sufficient, looking at themselves, looking At their feelings and their love for the Lord. It is for them that the apostle adds: « for the Scripture says: « Whoever believes in Him will not be confused ».
Yes, beloved, anyone who recognizes in the divine light and puts his trust in Jesus can be assured of his salvation even if he is facing a natural ruin.
In the Face of Satan and all those who are waiting for our disgrace, God ensures that we can not be humiliated or be ashamed.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us to trust You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Romains 10:11
« Quiconque croit en lui ne sera pas confondu. »

MÉDITATION:
Certains se demandent s’ils possèdent une vraie foi ou une foi suffisante, en se regardant eux-mêmes, En regardant leurs sentiments et leur amour pour le Seigneur. C’est pour eux que l’apôtre ajoute: « Car l’Écriture dit: «Quiconque croit en Lui ne sera pas confus ».
Oui, bien-aimés, quiconque reconnait, dans la lumière divine, sa ruine naturelle, et met sa confiance en Jésus, peut être assuré de son salut.
Face à Satan et à tous ceux qui attendent notre disgrâce, Dieu veille à ce que nous ne soyons pas humiliés ou confondus.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de vous faire toujours confiance.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

Exodus 20:9-10
« Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work,… »

MEDITATION:
After liberating the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt, God gave them this commandment:
« For six days you shall work, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of Yahweh, your God, that you shall do no work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant. neither your servant, nor your cattle, nor the stranger that is in your gates.  »
For the Israelites, this commandment contrasted strongly with their slavery under Pharaoh, as they had no respite in their daily work.
This commandment was then to set aside one day a week to remember several important things: the work of God during creation (Ge 2.2), their deliverance from slavery in Egypt (From 5.12-15), their relationship with God (6.4-6) and their need for personal refreshment (Ex 31.12-18).
This commandment also concerns us as a people of God!
We are called to consecrate this seventh day to worship and rest in God.
Thus, we must stop all work to refresh ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally, as well as to discern God in his creation in all beauty.
Life in God begins with rest in him.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, remind us every Sunday that this day is dedicated to You, to worship and rest in You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.
