Ayant la même foi, le même esprit et le même amour fraternel (Hébreux 13.1), tous les chrétiens devraient être solidaires les uns des autres (1 Corinthiens 12.26).
L’amour de Dieu rend les chrétiens responsables les uns les autres. C’est à cette sensibilité que cette épître de Paul aux Hébreux attire notre attention:

« Souvenez-vous des prisonniers, comme si vous étiez aussi prisonniers; de ceux qui sont maltraités, comme étant aussi vous-mêmes dans un corps. »(Hébreux 13:3)

Notre amour pour les autres nous entraîne absolument à les comprendre et à compatir avec eux dans les situations difficiles.
Se souvenir d’eux dans les difficultés, c’est concrètement nous mettre à leur place pour pouvoir les comprendre et sentir leur douleur.
Si nous ne nous mettons pas à la place des prisonniers comme si nous étions nous-mêmes en prison, nous ne pouvons pas compatir avec eux, leur rendre visite, plaider pour leur justice et aider leurs familles.
Si nous ne nous mettons pas à la place des personnes maltraités ou dans leur peau, nous ne pouvons pas comprendre leur humiliation et leur souffrance pour pouvoir les aider à s’en sortir ou à plaider pour leur justice.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, aidez-nous à toujours nous mettre à la place des autres pour les comprendre et compatir avec eux.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

As he was going into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, « You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. »(Luke 3:7-9)

Then, the crowd asked him:
« What should we do then? »(Luke 3:10)

John answered:
« The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same. »(Luke 3:10-11)

Sometimes we tend to value our possessions so highly that we let them control us.
When we are controlled by things that we have, we usually aren’t willing to share them with others.
The gospel instructs us to share, especially with those that have less than us.
We should kindly share what we have, even with those that don’t treat us well.
Our willingness to share is one way we are able to express our God given love for others.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to always share with others what you give us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Alors qu’il allait dans tout le pays des environs de Jourdain, prêchant le baptême de repentance, pour la rémission des péchés, Jean dit à ceux qui venaient en foule pour être baptisés par lui: « Races de vipères, qui vous a appris à fuir la colère à venir? Produisez donc des fruits dignes de la repentance, et ne vous mettez pas à dire en vous-mêmes: Nous avons Abraham pour père! Car je vous déclare que de ces pierres Dieu peut susciter des enfants à Abraham. Déjà même la cognée est mise à la racine des arbres: tout arbre donc qui ne produit pas de bons fruits sera coupé et jeté au feu. »(Luc 3:7-9)

Alors, la foule l’interrogeait, disant:
« Que devons-nous donc faire? »(Luc 3:10)

Jean leur répondit:
« Que celui qui a deux tuniques partage avec celui qui n’en a point, et que celui qui a de quoi manger agisse de même. »(Luc 3:11)

Parfois, nous avons tendance à accorder une grande valeur à nos biens que nous les laissons nous contrôler.
Et lorsque nous sommes contrôlés par les choses que nous possédons, nous ne sommes généralement pas disposés à les partager avec les autres.
La Parole de Dieu nous demande de partager, surtout avec ceux qui ont moins que nous.
Nous devrions gentiment partager ce que nous avons, même avec ceux qui ne nous traitent pas bien.
Notre volonté de partager est une façon par laquelle nous sommes capables d’exprimer concrètement l’amour que Dieu nous donne pour les autres.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de toujours partager avec les autres ce que vous nous donnez.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

“None se tugire dute?”(Luka 3:10)

Arabasubiza ati:
“Ufite imyenda ibiri umwe awuhe utawufite, n’ufite ibyokurya nagire atyo na we.”(Luka 3:11)

Rimwe na rimwe, dukunda guha agaciro ibyo dutunze cyane kuburyo tureka bikatuyobora, tugasa n’ababaye imbata yabyo.
Iyo tubaswe n’ibintu dufite cyangwa dutunze, mu bisanzwe ntitwifuza kubisangira n’abandi.

The Bible places women at the heart of the plan of redemption, and the Gospels show that, during his earthly ministry, Jesus acted intentionally to meet their need for justice and recognition.

With the warning given by God to women in Genesis 3:16: « Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you. » the natural masculine tendency in a world, under the dominion of the evil one, it is to dominate the woman.
This should, it seems to me, create a certain introspection on the part of men.
Would I be subject to this tendency towards domination?
Would it influence my interpretation of the Scripture?

The Word of God already consoles us with the announcement of the proto-gospel of Genesis 3:15: « I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head. »: Jesus Christ, born of a woman (Galatians 4:4), this singular rabbi who denounced the mistreatment of women (justice) and accepted them as disciples (recognition) crushed the head of the serpent.
Every child of God should absolutely commit to fighting against the mistreatment of women and working for their recognition in all spheres of management of the Church.

La Bible place les femmes au cœur du plan de la rédemption, et les Évangiles montrent que, pendant son ministère terrestre, Jésus a agi avec intentionnalité pour répondre à leur besoin de justice et de reconnaissance.

Avec l’avertissement donné par Dieu à la femme en Genèse 3:16: « Tu te sentiras attirée par ton mari, mais il dominera sur toi. », la tendance masculine naturelle dans un monde, sous la domination du malin, c’est de dominer la femme.
Cela devrait, me semble-t-il, créer une certaine introspection de la part de la gent masculine.
Serais-je sujet à cette tendance à la domination ?
Est-ce qu’elle m’influencerait dans mon interprétation de l’Écriture ?

La Parole de Dieu nous console déjà avec l’annonce du proto-évangile de Genèse 3:15: « Je mettrai inimitié entre toi et la femme, entre ta postérité et sa postérité: celle-ci t’écrasera la tête. »: Jésus-Christ, né d’une femme (Galates 4:4), ce rabbin singulier qui dénonçait la maltraitance des femmes (justice) et les acceptait comme disciples (reconnaissance) a écrasé la tête du serpent.
Chaque enfant de Dieu devrait absolument s’engager à lutter contre la maltraitance de la femme et oeuvrer pour sa reconnaissance dans tous les sphères de gestion de l’Église.
