DO IT BY GOODWILL

The Bible urges us to always be willing to contribute heartily for the work of the Lord.

« Everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. »(Exodus 35:21)

The rules governing the offerings for the construction of the tent of meeting were clear: Only those who were moved by the heart and moved by goodwill brought offerings there.
In addition, although the offerings were voluntary, each brought what he had and that the heart dictated to him to give.(Read Exodus 35:22-28)
« All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the LORD freewill offerings for all the work the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do. »(Exodus 35:29)

Our different churches have the vocation of God’s work, it is for this reason that every good Christian must be animated by good will to make his contribution to the building of his church.
Unfortunately, some do it to show off or be accepted in church, others do it out of fear or pressure from the leaders of the church. But us, let us do it willingly.
Let our hearts always be willing to make any contribution to the building up of the church.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be always willing to help build up our church.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
