We cannot manage our time well if we are not aware that time belongs to God.
The Bible tells us that:
« There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. »(Ecclesiastes 3:1)
It is God who made time and it is Himself who is its master. If He gives it to us, it is so that we can use it well, in his favor and for his glory.
So the time we spend sinning, planning evil, and doing it is time wasted.
Since we don’t know how long we have to live, we should devote all the time God gives us to doing what pleases Him.
Every morning let us ask God to help us to manage our day well.
During the day, let us ensure that each of our works contributes to the glory of God.
And at the end of each day, let’s evaluate the use of our time to see how much time we have devoted to works that glorify God.
PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to always manage well the time you give us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
