Living a peaceful life is attainable when God is on our side. Our joy and hope comes from our Savior and not from the headlines that want to try to rule how we see our lives.
To the Romans, Apostle Paul wrote this:
« The God of peace be with you all. Amen. »(Romans 15:33)
The God of peace has been with us since we accepted and received Jesus into our lives, as our King and Savior.
If Jesus is in us, we have full peace and we can also give peace to others.
In reality, those who prevent us from peace, those who disturb the peace in their families, in their neighborhoods, in their socio-professional environments, are people who do not have Jesus within them. That is, they have no peace within themselves.
Nor can we live a peaceful life if Jesus is not in us to strengthen and reassure us by telling us:
« Take heart, because I have overcome the world. »(John 16:33)
PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to stay with you in all our life.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
