HOW GOD SEES US

God never looks at us as we see ourselves, nor as others see us!

When God ordered Samuel to go and anoint one of the sons of Esai who was to become king of Israel, Samuel was impressed by the beauty and stature of David’s brothers, when it was rather David whom God had chosen.
So God said to him:
« The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. »(1 Samuel 16:7)

When God looked at David, He saw in him a valiant warrior and an exceptional worshipper, a courageous king, a king after his own heart while his brothers despised him and saw in him only a poor shepherd.
When others look at us, they see what they have heard of us, they see our social category, they see our functions or ranks, they see the situation in which we find ourselves, they see our dress, our height, our morphology, etc.
But God Himself, looks at the heart, where are hidden our qualities and our potentialities that others cannot see and where are imprinted his different projects for us.

May God help us to be able to distrust the way others see us.

COMMENT DIEU NOUS VOIT

Dieu ne nous regarde jamais comme nous nous voyons nous-mêmes, ni comme les autres nous voient!

Lorsque Dieu ordonna à Samuel d’aller oindre un des fils d’Esaï qui allait devenir roi d’Israël, Samuel a été impressionné par la beauté et la taille des frères de David, alors que c’était plutôt David que Dieu avait choisi.
Alors Dieu lui a dit:
« L’Éternel ne considère pas ce que l’homme considère; l’homme regarde à ce qui frappe les yeux, mais l’Éternel regarde au coeur. »(1 Samuel 16:7)

Lorsque Dieu regardait David, Il voyait en lui un guerrier valeureux et un adorateur exceptionnel, un roi courageux, un roi selon son cœur alors que ses frères le méprisaient et ne voyaient en lui qu’un pauvre berger.
Lorsque les autres nous regardent, ils voient ce qu’ils ont entendu dire de nous, ils voient notre catégorie sociale, ils voient nos fonctions ou nos grades, ils voient la situation dans laquelle nous nous trouvons, ils voient notre habillement, notre taille, notre morphologie, etc.
Mais Dieu Lui, regarde au cœur, où sont cachés nos qualités et nos potentialités que les autres ne peuvent pas voir et où sont imprimés ses différents projets pour nous.

Que Dieu nous aide à pouvoir nous méfier de la manière dont les autres nous voient.

JE MUNGU ANATUONAJE

Mungu kamwe hatutazami jinsi tunavyojiona, wala jinsi wengine wanavyotuona!

Mungu alipomwagiza Samweli kwenda kumtia mafuta mmoja wa wana wa Esai ambaye angekuwa mfalme wa Israeli, Samweli alivutiwa na uzuri na kimo cha ndugu zake Daudi, wakati ni Daudi ambaye Mungu alimchagua.
Basi Mungu akamwambia:
“Bwana haangalii kama binadamu aangaliavyo; maana wanadamu huitazama sura ya nje, bali Bwana huutazama moyo.”(1 Samweli 16:7).

Mungu alipomtazama Daudi, aliona ndani yake shujaa wa vita na mwabudu wa kipekee, mfalme shupavu, mfalme anayeupendeza moyo wake wakati ndugu zake walimdharau na kumwona tu mchungaji maskini.
Wengine wakitutazama wanaona walichosikia kwetu, wanaona kategoria yetu ya kijamii, wanaona kazi au vyeo vyetu, wanaona hali tunayojikuta, wanaona mavazi yetu, urefu wetu, maumbile yetu, na kadhalika.
Lakini Mungu Mwenyewe, anautazama moyo, ambapo sifa zetu zimefichwa na uwezo wetu ambao wengine hawawezi kuuona na mahali ambapo miradi yake mbalimbali imechapishwa kwa ajili yetu.

Mungu atusaidie tuweze kutoamini jinsi wengine wanavyotuona.

UKO IMANA ITUBONA

Imana ntiyigera itureba nk’uko twibona ubwacu, cyangwa nk’uko abandi batubona!

Igihe Imana yategekaga Samweli kujya gusiga amavuta umwe mu bahungu ba Yesayi wagombaga kuba umwami wa Isiraheli, Samweli yatangajwe n’ubwiza n’imiterere y’abavandimwe ba Dawidi, kandi ari Dawidi Imana yatoranije.
Imana rero iramubwira iti:
« Uwiteka atareba nk’uko abantu bareba. Abantu bareba ubwiza bugaragara, ariko Uwiteka we areba mu mutima. »(1Samweli 16:7)

Igihe Imana yarebaga Dawidi, Yabonaga muri we umurwanyi w’intwari kandi usenga bidasanzwe, umwami w’intwari, umwami ushimisha umutima wayo mu gihe abavandimwe be bamusuzugura bakamubonamo umwungeri gusa.
Iyo abandi batureba, babona ibyo batwumviseho, babona icyiciro cy’imibereho twaba turimo, babona imikorere cyangwa urwego turimo, babona ibihe turimo, bakabona imyambarire yacu, uburebure bwacu, imiterere yacu, n’ibindi.
Ariko Imana Yo, ireba umutima, ahihishe imico yacu n’ubushobozi bwacu abandi badashobora kubona, ari naho Yo ubwayo, yanditse imigambi idufiteho.

Imana idufashe gushobora kutizera uburyo abandi batubona.

Imana ntiyigera ituraba nk’uko twibona ubwacu, canke nk’uko abandi batubona!

Igihe Imana yategeka Samweli kuja gusiga amavuta umwe mu bahungu ba Isayi yategerezwa kuba umwami wa Isiraheli, Samweli rarakanzwe n’urukoba rw’abavukanyi ba Dawidi, kandi ari Dawidi Imana yatoranije.
Imana rero iramubwira iti:
« Jewe sindaba nk’ukw abantu baraba: kukw abantu baraba ku rukoba gusa, ariko jewe Uhoraho ndaba mu mutima »(1Samweli 16:7)

Igihe Imana yaraba Dawidi, yabona muri we umurwanyi w’intwari kandi asenga bidasanzwe, umwami w’intwari, umwami ahimbara umutima wayo mu gihe abavukanyi biwe bamusuzugura bakamubonamwo umwungere gusa.
Iyo abandi baturaba, babona ivyo batwumviseko, babona urwego twoba turimwo, babona ivyo tujejwe, babona ibihe turimwo, bakabona uko twambara, uburebure bwacu, imiterere yacu, n’ibindi.
Ariko Imana yo, iraba umutima, ahihishije imico yacu n’ubushobozi bwacu abandi badashobora kubona, ari naho kandi yanditse imigambi idufiseko.

Imana idufashe idushoboze kudaha agaciro ivy’uko abandi batubona.

THESE PEOPLE…

The islanders who saw the viper bite the apostle Paul on his hand, they believed that he was certainly a murderer condemned by God, since, according to them, Justice did not want to let him live, after he had been rescued from the sea.

« The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead, but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god. »( Acts 28:6)

Indeed, God does not allow evil to destroy a person for whom He still has good plans. Paul dead, his apostolic mission would have been cut short.
The same goes for people who hate us or are jealous of us.
When they see us falling into a dangerous situation, they think it’s over, that we can’t get out of it.
So they expect the situation to get worse and destroy us. And yet, as long as God still has good plans for us, no harm happens to us, the venom of evil that strikes us has no effect on us.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to remain under your protection in all places.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

CES GENS…

Les barbares qui ont vu le vipère mordre l’apôtre Paul à sa main, crurent qu’il était assurément un meurtrier condamné par Dieu, puisque, selon eux, la Justice n’a pas voulu le laisser vivre, après qu’il ait été sauvé de la mer.

« Ces gens s’attendaient à le voir enfler ou tomber mort subitement; mais, après avoir longtemps attendu, voyant qu’il ne lui arrivait aucun mal, ils changèrent d’avis et dirent que c’était un dieu. »(Actes 28:6)

En effet, Dieu n’autorise pas au mal de détruire une personne pour qui, Il a encore de bons projets. Paul mort, sa mission apostolique aurait été ainsi écourtée.
Il en est de même pour les gens qui nous détestent ou sont jaloux de nous.
Lorsqu’ils nous voient tomber dans une situation dangereuse, ils croient que c’est fini, que nous ne pouvons pas nous en sortir.
Ainsi, ils s’attendent que la situation s’empire et qu’elle nous détruise. Et pourtant, tant que Dieu a encore de bons projets pour nous, il ne nous arrive aucun mal, le venin du mal qui nous frappe reste sans effet sur nous.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui êtes aux cieux, donnez-nous de rester sous votre protection en tous lieux.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

WALE WATU…

Wakazi wa kisiwa hicho waliomwona nyoka huyo akimng’ata mtume Paulo kwenye mkono wake, waliamini kwamba hakika yeye ni muuaji aliyehukumiwa na Mungu, kwa kuwa, kulingana na wao, Haki haikutaka kumwacha hai, baada ya kuokolewa kutoka baharini.

“Wale watu walikuwa wakitazamia kwamba angevimba au angeanguka chini na kufa ghafla. Baada ya kungojea kwa muda mrefu bila kuona kwamba Paulo amepatwa na jambo lolote lisilo la kawaida, walibadilisha fikira zao juu yake, wakasema kuwa yeye ni mungu.”(Matendo 28:6 )

Hakika Mungu haruhusu uovu kumwangamiza mtu ambaye bado ana mipango mizuri kwake. Paulo alikufa, utume wake wa kitume ungekatizwa.
Vivyo hivyo kwa watu wanaotuchukia au wanaotuonea wivu.
Wanapotuona tunaangukia katika mazingira hatari wanafikiri yameisha, hatuwezi kutoka humo.
Kwa hiyo wanatarajia hali kuwa mbaya zaidi na kutuangamiza. Na bado, maadamu Mungu bado ana mipango mizuri kwa ajili yetu, hakuna madhara yoyote yanayotokea kwetu, sumu ya uovu inayotupiga haina madhara kwetu.

Baba yetu uliye mbinguni, utujalie kukaa chini ya ulinzi wako kila mahali.

« Ba bandi bategereza yuko ari bubyimbe cyangwa ari bupfe akindutse, ariko bamaze umwanya munini bakibitegereje, babona nta cyo abaye barahindura bati “Ni imana. »(Ibyakozwe 28:6)

Muby’ukuri, Imana ntiyemerera ikibi kurimbura umuntu agifite gahunda yayo nziza. Pawulo apfuye, ubutumwa bwe bw’intumwa bwaba burangiriye aho.
Ni nako bigenda kubantu batwanga cyangwa badufitiye ishyari.
Iyo batubonye tugwa mu kaga, batekereza ko byarangiye, ko tudashobora kubivamo.
Baba bategereje rero ko ibintu bigenda nabi bikadusenya. Kandi nyamara, igihe cyose Imana igifite imigambi myiza kuri twe, nta kibi cyadusenya, ubumara bw’ikibi ntabwo butugiraho ingaruka.

Iyo babonye tuguye mu kaga, bibaza ko biba biheze, ko tudashobora kubivamwo.
Baba bareretse rero ko ibintu bigenda nabi bikaduhitana. Kandi yamara, igihe cose Imana igifise imigambi myiza kuri twebwe, nta kibi codusenya, ubumara bw’ikibi ntabutugirako ingaruka.
