We all love life and desire to see many good days.
The psalmist gives us the secret:

« Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. »(Psalms 34:14-15)

In other words, the secret of longevity and happiness is to be righteous.
If we are righteous, the Lord our God will give us a long life full of happiness.
Let’s be righteous.

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be righteous in your sight.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Nous souhaiterions tous vivre longtemps et heureux.
Le psalmiste nous en livre le secret:

« Préserve ta langue du mal, Et tes lèvres des paroles trompeuses; Éloigne-toi du mal, et fais le bien; Recherche et poursuis la paix. »(Psaumes 34:14-15)

En d’autres mots, le secret de la longévité et du bonheur, c’est d’être juste.
Si nous sommes justes, l’Éternel notre Dieu nous donnera une longue vie pleine de bonheur.
Soyons justes.

Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous d’être justes à vos yeux.

When the Syrians had ambushed the king of Israel at a certain place, the man of God Elisha warned him and he escaped.
The king of Syria was heartbroken and sent a strong force with horses and chariots to arrest the prophet Elisha.

Early in the morning, when the servant of the man of God got up and went out; he saw a troop surrounded the city, with horses and chariots. He then said to the man of God:
« Oh, my lord, what shall we do? »
Elisha replied:
« Don’t be afraid, those who are with us are more than those who are with them. » (2 Kings 6:16)

As this servant understood nothing, Elisha prayed, and said, « O LORD, open his eyes so he may see. » And the Lord opened the eyes of the servant, who saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Indeed, this is how our God protects his children even when they do not realize it, when they walk in the truth and are innocent.
Don’t be afraid therefore, if thou be righteous and walk in the truth, for His glory God will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.(Psalms 91:11)

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to always walk in the truth.

Alors que les syriens avaient tendu une ambuscade au roi d’Israël à un certain lieu, l’homme de Dieu Élisée lui en prévint et il échappa ainsi.
Le roi de Syrie en eut le coeur agité et envoya une forte troupe avec des chevaux et des chars pour arrêter le prophète Élisée.

Au bon matin, lorsque le serviteur de l’homme de Dieu se leva et sortit; il vit une troupe entourait la ville, avec des chevaux et des chars. Il dit alors à l’homme de Dieu:
« Ah! mon seigneur, comment ferons-nous? »
Élisée lui répondit:
« Ne crains point, car ceux qui sont avec nous sont en plus grand nombre que ceux qui sont avec eux. »(2 Rois 6:16)

Comme ce serviteur ne comprenait rien, Élisée pria, et dit: « Éternel, ouvre ses yeux, pour qu’il voie. » Et l’Éternel ouvrit les yeux du serviteur, qui vit la montagne pleine de chevaux et de chars de feu autour d’Élisée.

En effet, c’est ainsi que notre Dieu protège ses enfants même quand ils ne s’en rendent pas compte, lorsqu’ils marchent dans la vérité et sont innocents.
Ne crains donc point, si tu es juste et que tu marches dans la vérité, pour sa gloire, Dieu ordonnera à ses anges de te garder dans toutes tes voies.(Psaumes 91:11)

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à toujours marcher dans la vérité.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Haman had long persecuted the Jews.
After his death, all the letters he had published with the object of destroying the Jews on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, were revoked. The king issued further letters and an edict authorizing the Jews to assemble, defend themselves, and take revenge against their enemies.

« On the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, the edict commanded by the king was to be carried out. On this day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them. »(Esther 9:1)

This fateful day was a great victory for the Jews.
The Jews killed 75,000 of their enemies in the provinces. The ten sons of Haman were also killed.
That’s how things turned out.
Although our enemies wish us evil, plot and plan evil against us, God cannot let them.
Because of his righteousness and for his glory, God brings about the opposite of what they wish for us or plan against us.
Praise his name!
