If people don’t call us by the names our parents gave us, they call us by names that they stick to us because of our personality and our notoriety, good or bad.

However, by his grace, God can change all those names that people stick to us:
– Simon became Peter, a « column of the primitive church ».
« You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas »(which, when translated, is Peter).(John 1:42)
– Saul of Tarsus, the church persecutor, became the apostle Paul, a church builder.
– Jacob, the deceiver, became Israel the father of the twelve tribes.
« Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome. »(Genesis 32:28)

The names that God gives us bring blessings and express a new destiny or a new life that is good.
And God gives them to us after transforming us.
This is how the one whom everyone called wicked man becomes good by the grace of God,
The one everyone called angry man becomes meek by the grace of God,
He whom everyone called dishonest man becomes honest man by the grace of God, and so on.
Let’s ask God to transform us so that we may have new names.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, come into our lives to transform us and give us new names.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Si les gens ne nous appellent pas par les noms que nos parents nous ont donnés, ils nous appellent par des noms qu’ils nous collent eux-mêmes à cause de notre personnalité et notre notoriété, bonnes ou mauvaises.

Toutefois, par sa grâce, Dieu peut changer tous ces noms que les gens nous collent:
– Simon est devenu Pierre, une « colonne de l’église primitive ».
« Tu es Simon, fils de Jonas; tu seras appelé Pierre. »(Jean 1:42)
– Saul de Tarse, le persécuteur d’église, est devenu l’apôtre Paul, un fondateur d’église.
– Jacob, le trompeur, est devenu Israël le père des douze tribus.
« Ton nom ne sera plus Jacob, mais tu seras appelé Israël; car tu as lutté avec Dieu et avec des hommes, et tu as été vainqueur. »(Genèse 32:28)

Les noms que Dieu nous donne sont porteurs de bénédictions et expriment un nouveau destin ou une nouvelle vie qui est bonne.
Et Dieu nous les donne après nous avoir transformé.
C’est ainsi que celui que tout le monde appelait méchant devient bon par la grâce de Dieu,
Celui que tout le monde appelait colérique devient doux par la grâce de Dieu,
Celui que tout le monde appelait malhonnête devient honnête par la grâce de Dieu, etc.
Demandons à Dieu de nous transformer afin que nous ayons de nouveaux noms.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui êtes aux cieux, venez dans notre vie pour nous transformer et nous donner de nouveaux noms.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Watu wasipotuita kwa majina tuliyopewa na wazazi wetu, wanatuita kwa majina ambayo yanatushikilia kutokana na tabia zetu na historia zetu, nzuri au mbaya.

Walakini, kwa neema yake, Mungu anaweza kubadilisha majina yote ambayo watu hushikamana nasi:
– Simoni, alikua Petro, « safu ya kanisa la kwanza ».
« Wewe u Simoni, mwana wa Yohana; nawe utaitwa Kefa (tafsiri yake Petro, au Jiwe).(Yohana 1:42).
– Sauli wa Tarso, mtesaji wa kanisa, akawa mtume Paulo, mjenzi wa kanisa.
– Yakobo, mdanganyifu, akawa Israeli baba wa makabila kumi na mawili.
« Jina lako hutaitwa tena Yakobo, ila Israeli, maana umeshindana na Mungu, na watu, nawe umeshinda. »(Mwanzo 32:28)

Majina ambayo Mungu hutupa huleta baraka na kueleza hatima mpya au maisha mapya ambayo ni mazuri.
Majina ambayo Mungu hutupa huleta baraka na kuashiria nyakati mpya au maisha mapya mazuri.
Na Mungu hutupa baada ya kutubadilisha.
Ni kwa njia hii kwamba mtu ye yote anayeitwa mbaya anakuwa mtu mwema kwa neema ya Mungu.
Yule ambaye kila mtu humwita mtu katili hubadilishwa kuitwa mtu mpole kwa neema ya Mungu;
Yeyote anayeita mwongo anaitwa mtu mwaminifu kwa neema ya Mungu, na kadhalika.
Tumwombe Mungu atubadilishe tupate majina mapya.

OMBI:
Baba yetu uliye mbinguni, njoo maishani mwetu atubadilishe na kutupa majina mapya.
Ni katika jina la thamani la mwanao Yesu Kristo tunaomba, Amina.

Iyo abantu batatwise amazina ababyeyi bacu baduhaye, batwita amazina badutaziriye kubera imiterere yacu n’amateka yacu meza cyangwa mabi.

Ariko, kubw’ubuntu bwayo, Imana irashobora guhindura ayo mazina yose abantu badutaziriye:
– Simoni, yabaye Petero, « inkingi y’itorero ryambere ».
« Uri Simoni mwene Yona. Uzitwa Kefa »(Risobanurwa ngo ibuye).(Yohana 1:42)
– Sawuli w’i Taruso, watotezaga itorero, yabaye intumwa Pawulo, umwubatsi w’itorero.
– Yakobo, umuriganya, yabaye Isiraheli se w’imiryango cumi n’ibiri.
« Ntucyitwa Yakobo ukundi, ahubwo uzitwa Isirayeli, kuko wakiranije Imana n’abantu ukanesha. »(Intangiriro 32:28)

Amazina Imana iduha azana imigisha kandi yerekana ibihe bishya cyangwa ubuzima bushya bwiza.
Kandi Imana iyaduha nyuma yo kuduhindura.
Ni muri ubwo buryo umuntu wese yiswe umuntu mubi ahinduka akitwa umuntu mwiza kubw’ubuntu bw’Imana,
Uwo abantu bose bita umuntu w’amahane ahinduka akitwa umugwaneza kubw’ubuntu bw’Imana,
Uwo umuntu wese yise umuntu w’umubeshyi, ahinduka akitwa umuntu w’inyangamugayo kubw’ubuntu bw’Imana, n’ibindi.
Reka dusabe Imana kuduhindura kugira ngo tubone amazina mashya.

ISENGESHO:
Data wa twese uri mu ijuru, uze mu buzima bwacu kuduhindura no kuduha amazina mashya.
Ni mu izina ry’agaciro ry’umwana wawe Yesu kristo tubisabye, Amen.

– Sawuli w’i Taruso, yatoteza Ekleziya, yabaye intumwa Pawulo, umwubatsi wayo.
– Yakobo, umubeshi, yabaye Isiraheli se w’imiryango cumi n’ibiri.
« Ntucitwa Yakobo ukundi, ariko wiswe Isirayeli l; kuko waniganye n’Imana n’abantu, ukanesha. »(Itanguriro 32:28)

Amazina Imana iduha azana imigisha kandi yerekana ibihe bishasha canke ubuzima bushasha bwiza.
Kandi Imana iyaduha inyuma yo kuduhindura.
Ni mur’ubwo buryo umuntu wese yiswe umuntu mubi ahinduka akitwa umuntu mwiza kubw’ubuntu bw’Imana,
Uwo abantu bose bita umuntu w’amahane ahinduka akitwa umugwaneza kubw’ubuntu bw’Imana,
Uwo umuntu wese yise umuntu w’umubeshi, ahinduka akitwa umuntu w’umunyakuri kubw’ubuntu bw’Imana, n’ibindi.
Reka dusabe Imana kuduhindura kugira ngo tubone amazina mashasha.

IGISABISHO:
Dawe wa twese uri mw’ijuru, n’uze mu buzima bwacu kuduhindura no kuduha amazina mashasha.
Ni mw’izina ridasanzwe ry’umwana wawe Yesu kristo tubisavye, Amen.
