NAMNA YA KUPIGA MAGOTI MBELE ZA MUNGU

Je, kweli tunampigia Mungu magoti kwa unyoofu?
Hapa kuna aina nne za magoti ya kupiga:

1. Kupiga magoti ya miili yetu
« Magoti yangu yamedhoofu kwa kufunga, Na mwili wangu umekonda kwa kukosa mafuta. »(Zaburi 109:24)
Tunapopiga magoti, mwili wetu wote unasimama mbele za Mungu, hii inaonekana kwa watu na kwa Mungu.

2. Kupiga magoti ya mioyo yetu
« Maana mioyo ya watu hawa imekuwa mizito, Na kwa masikio yao hawasikii vema, Na macho yao wameyafumba; Wasije wakaona kwa macho yao, Wakasikia kwa masikio yao, Wakaelewa kwa mioyo yao, Wakaongoka, nikawaponya. »(Mathayo 13:15)
Wakati moyo wetu ni wa kuasi, mwili wetu unaweza kuwa juu ya magoti yake bila moyo wetu kuwa.

3. Kupiga magoti ya mapenzi yetu
« Ee Baba, ikiwa ni mapenzi yako, uniondolee kikombe hiki; walakini si mapenzi yangu, bali yako yatendeke. »(Luka 22:42)
Tunapiga magoti miili yetu na mioyo yetu mbele za Mungu, lakini kwa kukosa subira, tunaacha mapenzi yetu yatangulie kuliko ya Mungu.
Tukimwamini, mapenzi yake makamilifu yatakuwa yetu.

4. Kupiga magoti ya akili zetu
« Mpende Bwana Mungu wako kwa moyo wako wote na kwa roho yako yote na kwa akili zako zote. »*(Mathayo 22:37)
Mawazo yetu yakipiga magoti kwa Mungu, inathibitisha kwamba tunampenda Mungu.

« Njoni, tuabudu, tusujudu, Tupige magoti mbele za Bwana aliyetuumba. »(Zaburi 95:6)

Ese koko dupfukamira Imana tubikuye ku mutima?
Ng’ubu uburyo bune bwo gupfukamira Imana:

1. Gupfukama n’amavi y’umubiri
« Amavi yanjye aciwe urutebwe no kutarya,Umubiri wanjye unanuwe no kubura ibinure. »(Zaburi 109:24)
Iyo dupfukamye, umubiri wacu wose uhagarara imbere y’Imana, ibi n’abantu barabibona.

2. Gupfukama n’amavi y’umutima wacu
« Kuko umutima w’ubu bwoko ufite ibinure, Amatwi yabo akaba ari ibihurihuri, Amaso yabo bakayahumiriza, Ngo batarebesha amaso, Batumvisha amatwi,Batamenyesha umutima, Bagahindukira ngo mbakize. »(Matayo 13:15)
Iyo umutima wacu wigometse, umubiri wacu urashobora gupfukama ariko umutima wacu utabikoze.

3. Gupfukama n’amavi y’ubushake bwacu
« Data, nubishaka undenze iki gikombe, ariko bye kuba uko nshaka, ahubwo bibe uko ushaka. »(Luka 22:42)
Dupfukamika imibiri yacu n’imitima yacu imbere y’Imana, ariko kubwo kutihangana, tureka ubushake bwacu bugafata umwanya wambere kuruta ubw’Imana.
Niba tumwizeye, ubushake bwe butunganye buhinduka ubwacu.

4. Gupfukama n’amavi y’ubwenge bwacu
« Ukundishe Uwiteka, Imana yawe umutima wawe wose n’ubugingo bwawe bwose n’ubwenge bwawe bwose. »(Matayo 22:37)
Niba ubwenge bwacu bupfukamira Imana, byerekana ko dukunda Imana.

“Nimuze tumuramye twunamye,Dupfukamire Uwiteka Umuremyi wacu.”(Zaburi 95:6)

Ubwo duhora dupfukamira Imana tubikuye ku mutima?
Ng’ubu ubwoko bune bgo gupfukamira Imana:

1. Gupfukama n’amavi y’umubiri
« Amavi yanje adendebuwe no kwisonzesha, Umubiri wanje umazwe inkomezi n’umunanu. »(Zaburi 109:24)
Iyo dupfukamye, umubiri wacu wose uba uhagaze imbere y’Imana, n’abantu barabibona.

2. Gupfukama n’amavi y’umutima wacu
« Kuk’ umutima w’ubu bgoko ucuramye, Amatwi yabo akaba ari bihurugutwi, Amaso yabo bakayahumiriza: Ngo ntibarabishe amaso, Ntibumvishe amatwi, Ntibatahurishe imitima, Ngo bahindukire, Mbakize. »(Matayo 13:15)
Iyo umutima wacu ucuramye, umubiri wacu urashobora gupfukama ariko umutima wacu ntubikore.

3. Gupfukama n’amavi y’ubugombe bwacu
« Data, asangw’ ubigomba, kura iki gikombe, kindengane: ariko ntibibe uko jewe ngomba, yamara bibe uko wewe ugomba. »(Luka 22:42)
Dupfukamika imibiri yacu n’imitima yacu imbere y’Imana, ariko kubera kutihangana, tureka ubugombe bgacu bugafata umwanya wambere kuruta ubg’Imana.
Tumwizeye, ubugombe bgiwe butunganye buca buhinduka ubgacu.

4. Gupfukama n’amavi y’ubgenge bgacu
« Mukundishe Uhoraho Imana yanyu imitima yanyu yose n’ubugingo bganyu bgose n’ubgenge bganyu bgose. »(Matayo 22:37)
Niba ubgenge bgacu bupfukamira Imana, vyerekana ko dukunda Imana.

“Ni muze tumusenge twunamye, Dupfukamire Uhoraho Umuremyi wacu.”(Zaburi 95:6)

TO WHOM SHOULD WE BOW DOWN THE KNEES ?

In ancient times in Europe, men would kneel before the women they loved as before their kings.
Even today, lovers put « knee down » when declaring their love for their beloved.
Many people find this attitude ridiculous because in the Bible, this gesture is exclusively reserved for God (Ezra 9.5; Psalm 95:6; Isaiah 45:23)!

In the Bible, putting a knee on the ground is the visible sign of adoration, great submission and deep respect, as the Epistle to the Philippians suggests:
« He (Jesus) humbled himself and became obedient to death–even death on a cross. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. »(Philippians 2:8-11)

It is therefore important that we recognize that all these knees bowing to a man “who is dust and to dust shall return” (Genesis 3:19) are inappropriate actions! Indeed, the only being worthy of worship is God.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant that we never again kneel except before Christ.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

DEVANT QUI DEVONS-NOUS FLÉCHIR LES GENOUX ?

Au Moyen Âge, les personnages courtois fléchissaient leurs genoux devant la dame aimée — comme devant leur souverain.
Aujourd’hui encore, les amoureux posent « un genou en terre » lorsqu’ils déclarent l’amour à leurs bien-aimées.
Beaucoup de gens trouvent cette attitude ridicule parce que dans la Bible, ce geste est exclusivement réservé à Dieu(Esdras 9,5 ; Psaume 95:6 ; Esaïe 45:23)!

Dans la Bible, mettre un genou à terre, c’est le signe visible d’adoration, d’une grande soumission et d’un profond respect, comme le laisse entendre l’Épître aux Philippiens:
« Il(Jésus) s’est humilié lui-même, se rendant obéissant jusqu’à la mort, même jusqu’à la mort de la croix. C’est pourquoi aussi Dieu l’a souverainement élevé, et lui a donné le nom qui est au-dessus de tout nom, afin qu’au nom de Jésus tout genou fléchisse dans les cieux, sur la terre et sous la terre, et que toute langue confesse que Jésus Christ est Seigneur, à la gloire de Dieu le Père. »(Philippiens 2:8-11)

Il est donc important que nous reconnaissions que tous ces genoux qui se plient devant un homme «qui est poussière et qui retournera en poussière» (Genèse 3:19) sont des gestes déplacés! En effet, le seul être digne d’adoration est Dieu.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne plus jamais nous mettre à genoux que devant le Christ seulement.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

JE TUPIGE MAGOTI KWA NANI ?

Hapo zamani za kale huko Uropa, wanaume wangepiga magoti mbele ya wanawake waliowapenda kama kabla ya wafalme wao.
Hata leo, wapenzi huweka « goti chini » wanapotangaza upendo wao kwa mpendwa wao.
Watu wengi wanaona mtazamo huu kuwa wa kipuuzi kwa sababu katika Biblia, ishara hii imetengwa kwa ajili ya Mungu pekee (Ezra 9:5; Zaburi 95:6; Isaya 45:23)!

Katika Biblia, kuweka goti moja chini ni ishara inayoonekana ya kuabudu, unyenyekevu mkubwa na heshima kubwa, kama Waraka kwa Wafilipi unapendekeza:
« (Yesu) alijinyenyekeza akawa mtii hata mauti, naam, mauti ya msalaba. Kwa hiyo tena Mungu alimwadhimisha mno, akamkirimia Jina lile lipitalo kila jina; ili kwa jina la Yesu kila goti lipigwe, la vitu vya mbinguni, na vya duniani, na vya chini ya nchi; na kila ulimi ukiri ya kuwa YESU KRISTO NI Bwana, kwa utukufu wa Mungu Baba.”(Wafilipi 2:8-11)

Kwa hiyo ni muhimu tutambue kwamba magoti haya yote yanayompigia mtu ambaye “ni mavumbi na mavumbini yatarudi” (Mwanzo 3:19) ni matendo yasiyofaa! Hakika anayestahiki kuabudiwa ni Mungu pekee.

Ni ngombwa rero ko tumenya ko aya mavi yose atererwa umuntu wavuye mu gitaka, “umukungugu uzasubira mu mukungugu”(Itangiriro 3:19) ari umucyo udakwiye! Muby’ukuri, Imana yonyine niyo ikwiye gutererwa ivi.

Ni ngombwa rero ko tumenya ko aya mavi yose atererwa umuntu, yaremwe mw’ivu, “umukungugu uzosubira mu mukungugu”(Itanguriro 3:19) bidakwiriye gukorwa, n’akamaramaza!
Muvy’ukuri, Imana yonyene niyo ikwiye gutererwa ivi.
