After having clearly told his disciples that he was going to leave them (John 13.33), and that one of them would betray him (John 13.21), Jesus noticed that their hearts were as troubled.
It was then that he said to them:
« Do not let not your heart be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. »(John 14:1)

When we hear bad news, we are shocked and our hearts may even be troubled. It can also affect our health as it can lead to heart diseases.
However, if we believe that God is with us, that God cares for us, that God knows everything, and that everything is under control, we cannot be troubled.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us constant confidence in You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Après avoir clairement dit à ses disciples qu’il va les quitter(Jean 13.33), et que l’un d’eux le livrerait (Jean 13.21), Jésus constate que leurs cœurs se troublent.
C’est alors qu’il leur a dit:
« Que votre coeur ne se trouble point. Croyez en Dieu, et croyez en moi. »(Jean 14:1)

Lorsque nous entendons une mauvaise nouvelle, nous sommes choqués et notre coeur peut même se troubler. Cela peut également affecter notre santé, car cela peut entraîner des maladies cardiaques.
Cependant, si nous croyons que Dieu est avec nous, que Dieu prend soin de nous et que Dieu sait tout, nous ne pouvons pas être troublés.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous d’être constamment confiants en Vous.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Ariko, iyo twizera ko Imana irikumwe natwe, ko Imana itwitaho, ko byose Imana ibizi, ntidushobora guhungabana.

A comforting promise in Scripture is that God will never leave those who are His.
Hebrews 13:5 says, in part, « He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’ »

In a world that is constantly changing and where people are constantly leaving, whether in a family, relationship, or in death, God’s promise of never leaving is encouraging.

The one who helps you can die, but God does not die. He will look for a replacement.
Your helper can fail, but God will find someone else to use.
The one who helps you can move, but God will never move from you. He will bring you another person who continues to help you.
The one who helps you can rejects you, but God cannot reject you. He will bring in your life another person to love you and help you.
God will never forsake you.
You may stumble, fail, or fall into devastating sin, or even abandon Him, God will never abandon you.

PRAYER:
Eternal God, grant us to trust You and help us to be faithful.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Une promesse réconfortante dans les Écritures est que Dieu n’abandonnera jamais ceux qui lui appartiennent.
Hébreux 13:5 dit, en partie, «Dieu Lui-même a dit: ‘Je ne te délaisserai point et je ne t’abandonnerai jamais.’»

Dans un monde en constante évolution et où les gens se quittent constamment, que ce soit en famille, dans une relation ou par la mort, la promesse de Dieu de ne jamais nous abandonner est encourageante.

Celui qui vous aide aujourd’hui peut mourir, mais Dieu ne meurt pas. Il cherche toujours un remplaçant à celui qui part.
Votre bienfaiteur peut ne plus pouvoir continuer à vous aider, mais Dieu trouve quelqu’un d’autre à utiliser en votre faveur.
Votre bienfaiteur peut vous abandonner, mais Dieu ne s’éloigne jamais de vous. Il vous amène une autre personne qui continue à vous aider.
Votre bienfaiteur peut vous rejeter, mais Dieu ne peut pas vous rejeter. Au contraire, Il amène dans votre vie une autre personne pour vous aimer et vous aider.
Vous pouvez trébucher, tomber dans un péché dévastateur, ou même abandonner Dieu vous-même, mais Dieu ne vous abandonnera jamais.

PRIÈRE:
Dieu éternel, accordez-nous de Vous faire confiance et aidez-nous à être fidèles.
C’est dans le nom précieux de Votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Uwugufasha arashobora kukwanka akaguheba, ariko Imana yo ntishobora kukwanka no kuguheba. Ahubwo ica ikuzanira mu buzima bgawe uwundi muntu ugukunda kandi ugufasha.

N’ukuri, Imana ntishobora kuguheba.
Birashobora gushika ugatsitara, ukananirwa, canke ukagwa mu caha gikomeye, canke wewe nyene ukayiheba, ariko Imana ntishobora guca iguheba.

The Bible teaches us that God is love and that we know that we are from God by the love we have for one another.

Unfortunately, there are some who confuse love with a simple emotion!
Now, if « God is love » as it is written in 1John 4:8, love cannot be an emotion. It is far bigger and stronger than an emotion.
It is the very manifestation of God because it is demonstrable as God did by sending his only Son to die on the cross so that humanity could be saved.
« For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. »(John 3:16)

Love is therefore not an emotion, let all confusion be removed.
When a person says « I fell in love », it is purely emotional, it is not love.
And that kind of love can switch to hate any time.
However, we cannot hate someone we truly love, we only hate people we fall in love with.
That is where we find the difference between loving and falling in love.
Love is not an emotion, it is life.

PRAYER:
Eternal God, grant us to no longer confuse love with an emotion and help us to love as you love.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

La Bible nous enseigne que Dieu est amour et qu’on reconnaît que nous sommes de Dieu par l’amour que nous avons les uns envers les autres.

Malheureusement, il y en a qui confondent l’amour à une simple émotion!
Or, si « Dieu est amour » comme il est écrit en 1Jean 4:8, l’amour ne peut pas être une émotion. Il est de loin plus grand et plus fort qu’une émotion. Il est la manifestation même de Dieu car il est démontrable comme Dieu l’a fait en envoyant son Fils unique mourir sur la croix pour que l’humanité soit sauvée.
« Dieu a tant aimé le monde qu’il a donné son Fils unique, afin que quiconque croit en lui ne périsse pas mais qu’il ait la vie éternelle. »(Jean 3:16)

L’amour n’est donc pas une émotion, que toute confusion soit levée.
Lorsqu’une personne dit « Je suis tombé amoureux », c’est purement émotionnel, ce n’est pas de l’amour.
Ce genre d’amour peut se transformer en haine à tout moment.
Or, nous ne pouvons pas haïr quelqu’un que nous aimons vraiment, nous détestons seulement les personnes de qui nous sommes tombés amoureux.
C’est là que se trouve la différence entre aimer et tomber amoureux.
L’amour n’est pas une émotion, il est la vie.

PRIÈRE:
Éternel notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne plus confondre l’amour à une émotion et aidez-nous à aimer comme vous aimez.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.
