“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
(John 8:32)
When Jesus said, “You shall know the truth,” He was pointing us beyond mere intellectual knowledge to the Truth that is revealed in Him.
Reading the Bible is important, but the ultimate goal is not simply to know what is written; it is to know the One whom the Scriptures reveal: Jesus Christ, the Truth.
He revealed himself who He is:
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
(John 14:6)
Think about it!
Jesus is not merely someone who teaches the Truth, JESUS IS HIMSELF THE TRUTH.
Therefore, to know the Truth is to know Him.
And to truly know Him is to enter into His freedom.
When Jesus enters your life, Life has entered!
When Jesus becomes your Way, you no longer have to wander through life without direction.
When Jesus reveals His Truth to you, the lies that have kept you captive begin to lose their power.
And when the Son sets you free, you experience a freedom that no human being can give you.
You don’t become free merely because you know more Bible verses.
You become free as you come to know Jesus—the Truth.
Know Jesus. Know the Truth. Experience freedom.
“Therefore, if the Son has set you free, then you will truly be free.”
(John 8:36)
Shalom.
