Par son prophète Amos, Dieu appelle son peuple qui se détourne de Lui.
Il leur dit:

« Voilà pourquoi, en des temps comme ceux-ci, le sage se tait; Car ces temps sont mauvais.
Recherchez le bien et non le mal, afin que vous viviez, Et qu’ainsi l’Éternel, le Dieu des armées, soit avec vous, Comme vous le dites.
Haïssez le mal et aimez le bien, Faites régner à la porte la justice; Et peut-être l’Éternel, le Dieu des armées, aura pitié Des restes de Joseph. »
(Amos 5:13-15)

Considérons-nous que ces temps sont mauvais ?
Si oui, suivons les conseils du prophète. Dieu ne cesse de nous dire régulièrement dans sa Parole, de rechercher le bien et non le mal:
« Vois, je mets aujourd’hui devant toi la vie et le bien, la mort et le mal. »
(Deutéronome 30:15)

N’endurcissons donc pas nos cœurs, haïssons et abandonnons tout ce qui ne plaît pas à Dieu.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de haïr le mal et de nous attacher au bien.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

When your time of God’s favor comes your life and your story change.
And when your time of God’s favor comes, nothing can block or thwart it.

« In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. » I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.(2 Corinthians 6:2)

Maybe it is now your time of God’s favor but not mine, or mine but not yours. That is why we are not right to judge a person based on a season.
Wasn’t David a shepherd before he became king!
Wasn’t Esther an orphan before she became queen!
Wasn’t Joseph a prisoner before he became Prime Minister!
Wasn’t Mordecai working at the gate of the king’s palace before becoming an influential person inside the palace!
The examples are many.
Our God is a God of times.
May God gives us to always live in times of His favor.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to be and always live in times of your favor.

Lorsque le temps vous est favorable, votre vie et votre histoire changent.
Et lorsque votre temps favorable arrive, rien ne peut le bloquer ou le contrarier.

« Au temps favorable je t’ai exaucé, Au jour du salut je t’ai secouru. » Voici maintenant le temps favorable, voici maintenant le jour du salut.(2 Corinthiens 6:2)

Peut-être que c’est maintenant votre temps favorable mais pas le mien, ou le mien mais pas le vôtre. C’est pourquoi nous n’avons pas raison de juger une personne en fonction d’une saison.
David n’était-il pas un berger avant de devenir roi!
Esther n’était-elle pas une orpheline avant de devenir reine!
Joseph ne fut-il pas prisonnier avant de devenir Premier ministre!
Mardochée ne travaillait-il pas à la porte du palais du roi avant de devenir une personne influente à l’intérieur du palais!
Les exemples sont multiples.
Notre Dieu est un Dieu des temps.
Que Dieu nous donne
de vivre toujours dans les temps favorables.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, accorde-nous d’être et de toujours vivre dans les temps favorables.

The Bible tells us that in the days of Abraham, the people of Sodom were wicked.

« The people of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the LORD. »(Genesis 13:13)

Indeed, people who deliberately make the decision to harm others, whether verbally (by words), physically or by any other means have always existed in this world.
They are everywhere, even in our surroundings and on our way.
It is wickedness that drives them to plan and do harm to others;
It is also because of their wickedness that they rejoice in the suffering of others.
May God protect us from these people.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, protect us from wicked people.

La Bible nous dit que du temps d’Abraham, les gens de Sodome étaient méchants.

En effet, les gens qui, délibérément prennent la décision de faire du mal aux autres, que ce soit verbalement (par les mots), physiquement ou par tout autre moyen ont toujours existé dans ce monde.
Ils sont partout, même dans notre entourage et sur notre chemin.
C’est la méchanceté qui les pousse à planifier et à faire du mal aux autres;
C’est aussi à cause de leur méchanceté qu’ils à se réjouissent de la souffrance des autres.
Que Dieu nous protège contre ces gens.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, protégez-nous contre les gens méchants.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Would you have noticed as well as me that people have changed in these last days?

Men have become:
« lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. »(2 Timothy 3:2-4)

Worse still, there are even some who « have a form of godliness but denying its power. »(2 Timothy 3:5)

We must be careful.
If we meet these bad people, and manage to recognize them, let us distance ourselves from them so that they do not mislead us or do us harm.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to distance ourselves from anyone who can lead us away from You, lead us into perversion or harm us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Auriez-vous aussi bien que moi, constaté que les gens ont changé dans ces derniers jours?

Les hommes sont devenus:
« égoïstes, amis de l’argent, fanfarons, hautains, blasphémateurs, rebelles à leurs parents, ingrats, irréligieux, insensibles, déloyaux, calomniateurs, intempérants, cruels, ennemis des gens de bien, traîtres, emportés, enflés d’orgueil, aimant le plaisir plus que Dieu. »(2 Timothée 3:2-4)

Pire encore, il y en a même qui « ont l’apparence de la piété, mais qui renient ce qui en fait la force. »(2 Timothée 3:5)

Nous devons faire attention.
Si nous rencontrons ces mauvaises gens, et parvenons à les reconnaître, éloignons-nous d’eux pour qu’ils ne nous dévient pas ou ne nous fassent pas du mal.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à nous éloigner de toute personne qui peut nous éloigner de Vous, nous entraîner dans la perversion ou nous faire du mal.

God’s word urges us to agree first on some important things with people who want to walk with us.

« Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? » (Amos 3:3)

Indeed, « walking together » according to God, implies having the same project, renouncing one’s personal goals, having the same feelings, etc. When this principle is not respected, the rupture will not be far away!
The many dissolutions of our world bear witness to this: wars, divorces, inheritance disputes…
Thus, by respecting this divine law, we can walk with our fellow man and above all with the Lord. It’s the best way to get to the end.

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to find among people who respect you, people with whom we can walk together.

La parole de Dieu nous exhorte à nous convenir avant tout sur certaines choses importantes avec les gens qui veulent marcher avec nous.

« Deux hommes marchent-ils ensemble, Sans en être convenus? »(Amos 3:3)

En effet, « marcher ensemble  » selon Dieu, implique d’avoir un même projet, de renoncer à ses objectifs personnels, d’avoir les mêmes sentiments, etc. Lorsque ce principe n’est pas respecté, la rupture ne se trouvera pas loin !
Les nombreuses dissolutions de notre monde en témoignent: guerres, divorces, conflits d’héritage…
Ainsi, en respectant cette loi divine, nous pouvons marcher avec notre semblable et surtout avec le Seigneur. C’est le meilleur moyen pour arriver jusqu’au bout.

PRIERE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à trouver parmi les gens qui vous respectent, des gens avec qui nous pouvons marcher ensemble.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

While starving in the wilderness of Sin which is between Elim and Sinai, the children of Israel began to murmur against Moses and Aaron.
The LORD, having heard these murmurings, then said to Moses:
« I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. »(Exodus 16:4)

One good morning, the Lord did what he had promised and the children of Israel had their bread.
Moses told them what God had commanded:
« Everyone is to gather as much as they need. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent…No one is to keep any of it until morning. »(Exodus 16:16, 19)

Some paid no attention to Moses, they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them.

But why had these people acted like this?
The reality is that these people were afraid of their tomorrow and did not trust what God had told them through Moses.
Since they had not trusted the instructions of God, they had just demonstrated that they could not walk according to the word of God.
Only those who belong to Christ can walk according to the instructions of God, because they know that Christ takes care of their tomorrow:
« Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. »(Matthew 6:34)

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to trust in your word.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
