Dans sa première épître aux Corinthiens, l’apôtre Paul nomme ceux qui n’hériteront pas le royaume de Dieu:

* »Ne savez-vous pas que les injustes n’hériteront point le royaume de Dieu? Ne vous y trompez pas: ni les impudiques, ni les idolâtres, ni les adultères, ni les efféminés, ni les infâmes, ni les voleurs, ni les cupides, ni les ivrognes, ni les outrageux, ni les ravisseurs, n’hériteront le royaume de Dieu. »*(1 Corinthiens 6:9-10)

Si alors vous êtes l’une de ces personnes nommées par l’apôtre Paul, n’espérez plus hériter le royaume de Dieu.
Mais si vous décidez de vous répentir et d’abandonner toutes ces iniquités, vous avez droit d’hériter au royaume de Dieu.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la force de nous répentir et d’abandonner toutes nos iniquités.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jesus-Christ que nous prions.

Speaking of the importance of the human body to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul said:

* »Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. »* (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Our body does not belong to us strictly speaking. It belongs to God because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
We therefore have no right to destroy it or abuse it.
However, fornication, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and drugs abuse the presence of the Holy Spirit in our body and chase it away at a certain time.
And our body, for having therefore remained without the Holy Spirit in it, it becomes an abode of demons. It is then these demons who animate and guide it on to Hades.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the strength to preserve the Holy Spirit who is in us.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.

Parlant de l’importance du corps humain aux Corinthiens, l’apôtre Paul dit:

* »Ne savez-vous pas que votre corps est le temple du Saint Esprit qui est en vous, que vous avez reçu de Dieu, et que vous ne vous appartenez point à vous-mêmes? »*(1 Corinthiens 6:19)

Notre corps ne nous appartient pas à proprement parler. Il appartient à Dieu parce qu’il est le temple du Saint Esprit.
Nous n’avons donc pas droit de le détruire ni d’en abuser.
Or, l’impudicité, la consommation des boissons alcoolisés et la drogue abusent de la présence du Saint Esprit dans notre corps et le chassent à un certain moment.
Et notre corps, étant par conséquent resté sans le Saint Esprit en lui, il devient une demeure des démons. Ce sont ces demons qui l’animent et le guident dorénavant jusqu’au séjour des morts.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous la force de préserver le Saint Esprit qui est en nous.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jesus-Christ que nous prions.

When the prophet Hosea exhorted the children of Israel to repentance and conversion, he said to them:
* »Return, Israel, to the LORD your God. Your sins have been your downfall! »*(Hosea 14:1)

Indeed it is sin that causes man to fall and distances him from God.
However, the fatality is not that the man falls but that he cannot get up.
God always calls us to get up and come back to Him.
Return to the Lord and say:
* »Forgive all my sins and receive me graciously, that I may offer the fruit of my lips. »*(Hosea 14:2)
And God, full of mercy, will welcome you into his gracious hands.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the courage to be able to get up if we fall and come back to You.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.

Lorsque le prophète Osée exhortait les enfants d’Israël à la répentance et à la conversion, il leur a dit:
* »Israël, reviens à l’Éternel, ton Dieu, Car tu es tombé par ton iniquité. »*(Osée 14:1)

En effet c’est le péché qui fait tomber l’homme et l’éloigne loin de Dieu.
Toutefois, la fatalité n’est pas que l’homme tombe mais qu’il ne puisse pas se relever.
Dieu nous appelle toujours à nous relever et revenir à Lui.
Reviens alors et dit:
* »Pardonne toutes mes iniquités, Et reçois-moi favorablement! Je t’offrirai, l’hommage de mes lèvres. »*(Osée 14:2)
Et Dieu, plein de misericorde, t’accueillira dans ses mains pleines de grâce.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous le courage de pouvoir nous relever si nous tombons et de revenir vers Vous.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jesus-Christ que nous prions.
Amen.

While Jesus was walking in the temple, under the portico of Solomon, the Jews surrounded him, and said to .him:
* »How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly. »*(John 10:24)

Jesus answered them:
* »I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me. »*(John 10:25)

Speaking the word of God is not enough to prove that we belong to Christ, we must prove it by our works.
Do our works bear witness to our belonging to Christ?

PRAYER:
Lord our God, give us the power to bear witness to our belonging to your son Jesus.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.

Alors que Jésus se promenait dans le temple, sous le portique de Salomon, les Juifs l’entourèrent, et lui dirent:
* »Jusques à quand tiendras-tu notre esprit en suspens? Si tu es le Christ, dis-le nous franchement. »*(Jean 10:24)

Jésus leur répondit:
* »Je vous l’ai dit, et vous ne croyez pas. Les oeuvres que je fais au nom de mon Père rendent témoignage de moi. »*(Jean 10:25)

Dire la parole de Dieu ne suffit pas pour prouver que nous appartenons à Christ, nous devons le prouver par nos oeuvres.
Est-ce que nos oeuvres rendent-elles témoignage de notre appartenance à Christ ?

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de pouvoir rendre témoigne de notre appartenance à votre fils Jésus.

Vultures love spoiled meat. They are even remotely attracted to its smell.

* »Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. »*(Matthew 24:28)

This little phrase was said by Jesus during the speech on his return in glory at the end of time.
Jesus meant that he is the « body » around which the « eagles »(the Church, His faithful people) will gather at the resurrection when he returns to this world to reign over all nations as King of Kings (read Zechariah 14:9).
But, as far as we are concerned, if we stick to this word, as long as we are still alive, we must not accept that people, attracted by what we have, what we are and what we are capable of to do for them, come into our lives only to benefit us.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us to never accept that ill-intentioned people come into our life to benefit us only.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.

Les aigles aiment la viande avariée. Ils sont, même de loin attirés par son odeur.

* »En quelque lieu que soit le cadavre, là s’assembleront les aigles. »*(Matthieu 24:28)

Cette petite phrase a été dite par Jésus lors du discours sur son retour en gloire à la fin des temps.
Jésus voulait dire qu’il est le « corps » autour duquel les « aigles » (l’Église, Son peuple fidèle) se rassembleront à la résurrection lorsqu’il reviendra dans ce monde pour régner sur toutes les nations comme Roi des Rois (lire Zacharie 14:9).
Mais, en ce qui nous concerne, si nous nous tenons à cette parole, tant que nous sommes encore en vie, nous ne devons pas accepter que les gens, attirées par ce que nous possédons, ce que nous sommes et ce que nous sommes capables de faire pour eux, viennent dans notre vie pour uniquement nous profiter.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de ne jamais accepter que les personnes malintentionnées viennent dans notre vie pour nous profiter uniquement.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions.

In his parable of the rich man who led a joyful and brilliant life and of the poor man named Lazarus covered with ulcers that the dogs came to lick, Jesus tells us what happened to these two people after their death.

The poor Lazarus, for having endured evils and having remained firm in the faith, was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom, while the rich man, for having yielded to the seductions of life, for having abandoned himself entirely to earthly pleasures and for having despised God and his kingdom, the rich man was buried.

In Hades, where he was in torment, he cried out, saying:
* »Father Abraham, have pity on me… because I am in agony in this fire.’ »*

And Abraham answered him:
* »Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. »*(Luke 16:25)

He was being punished for his own negligence.

During our life, everyone has their time.
If today is your time to be rich and « happy », think of softening the pains of the poor and above all, do not despise God and his kingdom,
And if you are in pain today don’t forsake or blaspheme God.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, grant us never to despise You and Your kingdom.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.
