I AM HIS

Nothing is more precious to a Christian than to understand the depth of his relationship with Christ.

Our relationship with Christ is based on the following statement of Jesus:
« You will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. »(John 14:20)
Jesus identified himself with his disciples and with all those who have believed in him since his coming, by undergoing the judgment of God for them, in their place.
So we can confidently state this:
« My lover is mine and I am his; he browses among the lilies. »(Song of Solomon 2:16)

To say effect, « I am his », is a language of direct faith, adherence to Christ and strong affection.
That is to say that, the Christian who declares it, believes and feels that he is entirely the possession of Christ and that Christ knows him entirely.
Do you also believe and feel that you are his?
If we believe that we are really a property of Christ and we are aware of it, we cannot worry about anything because we are aware that not only does Christ look after us and take care of us in all, but also because neither diseases, nor persecution, nor violence, and all kinds of misfortunes, all evil has no effect on us.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, help us to believe and to be aware that we belong to Christ.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
