Lorsque les autres disciples dirent à Thomas qu’ils avaient vu Jésus après sa résurrection, il refusa d’y croire et leur dit:
« Si je ne vois dans ses mains la marque des clous, et si je ne mets mon doigt dans la marque des clous, et si je ne mets ma main dans son côté, je ne croirai point. »(Jean 20:25)

Pourquoi voulons-nous que Dieu se montre ou se manifeste d’abord pour lui obéir?
Jésus dit: « Heureux ceux qui ont cru sans avoir vu ! »

En effet, Dieu veut que nous croyions avant tout pour qu’il se manifeste par sa bonté.
La foi ne voit pas d’abord, la foi croit et ensuite voit.

Abraham a cru en Dieu et a vu la bonté de Dieu.
Étant allé jusqu’à vouloir égorger son fils comme Dieu le lui avait demandé, Abraham a vu « derrière lui un bélier retenu dans un buisson par les cornes… »(Genèse 22:13)
C’est ce bélier qu’il offrit en holocauste à la place de son fils.
Et c’est ce qu’il avait dit à son fils: « Mon fils, Dieu se pourvoira lui-même de l’agneau pour l’holocauste. »(Genèse 22:8)

Si nous aussi, gardons la foi, jusqu’au bout de l’épreuve, nous verrons Dieu se manifester.

Abraham had to trust in God before obeying what He asked of him.
But his son Isaac is a more eloquent testimony to a great degree of trust and obedience.

When they (Abraham and his son Isaac) had arrived at the place which God had told him to offer his son as a sacrifice, « Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. »(Genesis 22:9-10)

If Isaac obeyed his father Abraham and let him bind him and laid him on the altar to kill him, it was because he trusted in his father and in his God.
Isaac could have refused to be bound, and he would have cried out for help and fled from his father, but because he trusted his father, he obeyed.
Is there more obedience than that?
And yet, it is this trust that God wants us to have in Him.
Without this trust we cannot obey Him as He wants and do His will, nor can we please Him.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, give us to trust You so that we can be able to do Your will.

Abraham a dû faire confiance en Dieu, avant d’obéir à ce qu’Il lui avait demandé.
Mais son fils Isaac est un témoignage plus éloquent d’un grand degré de confiance et d’obéissance.

Lorsqu’ils(Abraham et son fils Isaac) furent arrivés au lieu que Dieu lui avait dit pour offrir en sacrifice son fils, « Abraham y éleva un autel, et rangea le bois. Il lia son fils Isaac, et le mit sur l’autel, par-dessus le bois. Puis Abraham étendit la main, et prit le couteau, pour égorger son fils. »(Genèse 22:9-10)

Si Isaac a obéi à son père Abraham et l’a laissé le lier et le mettre sur l’autel pour l’égorger, c’est parce qu’il avait confiance en son père et en son Dieu.
Isaac aurait pu refuser d’être lié, et il aurait crié au secours et fui loin de son père, mais parce qu’il avait confiance en son père, il a obéi.
Y-a-t-il plus d’obéissance que celà?
Et pourtant, c’est cette confiance que Dieu veut que nous ayons envers Lui.
Sans cette confiance nous ne pouvons pas Lui obéir comme Il le veut et faire sa volonté, et nous ne pouvons pas non plus lui plaire.

Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de Vous faire confiance pour pouvoir faire votre volonté.

Although sometimes God allows us to suffer, the Bible shows that God hates to see us suffer.

« I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. »(Exodus 3:7)

In reality, our God is sensitive to our sufferings. He sees them, He feels them and He also suffers from them.
We cannot imagine how our God is affected to see us suffer because of our sins and the bondage of Satan.
We cannot imagine how our God is concerned about the consequences of our sins, diseases, accidents, infirmities, and so on.
Because He is sensitive to our pain, our God quickly hears our cries and our prayers.
It is this spiritual complicity that prompts God to comfort us, strengthen us and act in our lives to rescue us from all evil.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, give us to understand that You are concerned about our sufferings and that you want to rescue us from them.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Bien que des fois Dieu autorise que nous souffrions, la Bible montre que Dieu déteste nous voir souffrir.

« J’ai vu la souffrance de mon peuple qui est en Égypte, et j’ai entendu les cris que lui font pousser ses oppresseurs, car je connais ses douleurs. »(Exode 3:7)

En réalité, notre Dieu est sensible à nos souffrances. Il les voit, Il les sent et Il en souffre aussi.
Nous ne pouvons pas nous imaginer comment notre Dieu est affecté de nous voir souffrir à cause de nos péchés et de l’esclavage de Satan.
Nous ne pouvons pas nous imaginer comment notre Dieu est affecté par les conséquences de nos péchés, les maladies, les accidents, les infirmités, etc.
Parce qu’Il est sensible à nos douleurs, notre Dieu entend vite nos cris et nos prières.
C’est cette complicité spirituelle qui pousse Dieu à nous consoler, nous fortifier et agir dans nos vies pour nous délivrer de tout mal.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez nous de comprendre que vous êtes sensible à nos souffrances et que vous voulez nous en délivrer.

Did you know that nothing can happen to his children if God does not allow it?
Yes, God allows our suffering.

God let us suffer for these seven (7) reasons:

1. So that we learn to rely on Him (God) alone and not on ourselves.
« …so that we should not put our trust in ourselves, but put it in God, who raises the dead. »(2 Corinthians 1:8-9)
2. To bring him glory.
God authorizes Satan to smite us so that His glory may be manifested upon us:
« Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life. »(Job 2:6)
3. So that we can comfort others.
« …the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions, so that by the consolation of which we are the object from God, we can comfort those who are in some affliction! »(2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
4. For us to become mature.
« …so that you may be perfect and complete, failing in nothing. »(James 1:2-4)
5. For our spirit to be awakened by his presence.
« Therefore it is said, Awake, you that sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. »(Ephesians 5:14)
6. To earn a crown of life promised to us.
« Blessed is the man who patiently endures temptation; for after he has been tried he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him. »(James 1:12)
7. That we may be renewed spiritually.
« Therefore we do not lose heart. And even though our outer man is being destroyed, our inner man is being renewed day by day. »(2 Corinthians 4:16)

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, grant us to know you through our sufferings and to always benefit from them.

Saviez-vous que rien ne peut arriver à ses enfants si Dieu ne le permet pas?
Oui, Dieu permet notre souffrance.

Dieu permet que nous souffrions pour ces sept(7) raisons suivantes:

1. Pour que nous apprenions à compter sur Lui(Dieu) seul et non pas sur nous-mêmes.
« …afin de ne pas placer notre confiance en nous-mêmes, mais de la placer en Dieu, qui ressuscite les morts. »(2 Corinthiens 1:8-9)
2. Pour lui apporter la gloire.
Dieu autorise à Satan de nous frapper afin que sa gloire soit manifestée sur nous:
« L’Éternel dit à Satan: Voici, je te le livre: seulement, épargne sa vie. »(Job 2:6)
3. Pour que nous puissions réconforter les autres.
« …le Dieu de toute consolation, qui nous console dans toutes nos afflictions, afin que, par la consolation dont nous sommes l’objet de la part de Dieu, nous puissions consoler ceux qui se trouvent dans quelque l’affliction! »(2 Corinthiens 1:3-4)
4. Pour que nous devenions mûrs.
« …afin que vous soyez parfaits et accomplis, sans faillir en rien. »(Jacques 1:2-4)
5. Pour que notre esprit soit éveillé par sa présence.
« C’est pour cela qu`il est dit: Réveille-toi, toi qui dors, Relève-toi d’entre les morts, Et Christ t’éclairera. »(Éphésiens 5:14)
6. Pour mériter une couronne de vie qui nous est promise.
« Heureux l’homme qui supporte patiemment la tentation; car, après avoir été éprouvé, il recevra la couronne de vie, que le Seigneur a promise à ceux qui l’aiment. »(Jacques 1:12)
7. Pour que nous soyons renouvelés spirituellement.
« C’est pourquoi nous ne perdons pas courage. Et lors même que notre homme extérieur se détruit, notre homme intérieur se renouvelle de jour en jour. »(2 Corinthiens 4:16)

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de vous connaître à travers nos souffrances et de toujours y tirer profit.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

The Israelites were amazed to find that their way to the promised land was through the desert.
Indeed, we attribute to the desert a value of experience, of crossing, of ordeal. And in reality, the only way to reach the destination that God has planned for us is through the desert.

If then we find ourselves in the desert, it is not because God wants to punish us. It is quite simply because He wants to transform us in order to make us enter into His promises or into a new life He has destined for us.
This transformation consists in killing certain things so that others can be born and bear fruit in us, in making us swallow our pride so that we can clothe ourselves in humility, in ridding ourselves of our self-sufficiency in order to lead us to total dependence on God.
« He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known… »(Deuteronomy 8:3)
Although the situation in the desert is difficult, God maintains our life until safe port.
« Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years(in the wilderness). »(Deuteronomy 8:4)

Courage to all those who, like me, cross their desert!
By the grace of God, we will arrive safely.

Les Israélites ont constaté avec étonnement que leur chemin vers la terre promise passe par le désert.
En effet, on attribue au désert une valeur d’expérience, de traversée, d’épreuve. Et en réalité, le seul chemin pour atteindre la destination que Dieu a prévue pour nous passe par le désert.

Si alors nous nous trouvons dans le désert, ce n’est pas parce que Dieu veut nous punir. C’est tout simplement parce qu’Il veut nous transformer en vue de nous faire entrer dans ses promesses ou dans une nouvelle vie qu’Il nous a destinée.
Cette transformation consiste à tuer certaines choses pour que d’autres puissent naître et fructifier en nous, à nous faire ravaler notre fierté afin de pouvoir nous revêtir d’humilité, à nous débarrasser de notre autosuffisance pour nous mener à une dépendance totale de Dieu.
« Il t’a humilié, il t’a fait souffrir de la faim, et il t’a nourri de la manne, que tu ne connaissais pas et que n’avaient pas connue tes pères… »(Deutéronome 8:3)
Quoique la situation dans le désert soit difficile, Dieu entretient notre vie jusqu’à bon port.
« Ton vêtement ne s’est point usé sur toi, et ton pied ne s’est point enflé, pendant ces quarante années(dans le désert). »(Deutéronome 8:4)

Courage à tous ceux qui, comme moi, traversent leur désert!
Par la grâce de Dieu, nous arriverons à bon port.

In Ephesians 4:27 we read:
“Do not give the devil a foothold.”

The devil can only reach our life if we open the doors to him.
What are these doors?
These are disobedience, discouragement, satanic covenants and certain objects, and ignorance.

1. Disobedience:
Because of his disobedience to God, Satan was cursed and cast out of heaven.
Being himself cursed because of his disobedience, Satan wants us, too, to disobey God so that we are cursed like him.
« If you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God… You shall be cursed… » (Deuteronomy 28:15-68)
And if we are cursed by God, Satan receives us in his camp and begins to manipulate us.

2. Discouragement:
If we become discouraged, Satan finds that we no longer have either strength or hope. He then takes the opportunity to enter into our lives and to whisper in our ears diabolical solutions that drive us into the bondage of evil and sin.

3. The Satanic Covenants and certain satanic objects:
Through occult practices and through certain satanic objects that we knowingly or unknowingly keep in our homes or carry on our person, we make covenants or contract with Satan.
It is this alliance with the devil that authorizes him to change our life and our destiny as he wishes.
God had warned the children of Israel of this:
« … Let no one be found among you who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft… »(Deuteronomy 18:9-12)

4. Ignorance:
Many people pray for a change in their life without knowing that they are doing things against God every day, or that they have objects that open doors to the enemy.
« My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge… »(Hosea 4:6)
The enemy uses the ignorance of men to bring them down.
If we ignore his tactics and strategies, the devil will invade us so easily.

PRAYER :
Our Father who art in heaven, give us to be careful that we do not open doors to the devil in our life.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.
