When the Syrians had ambushed the king of Israel at a certain place, the man of God Elisha warned him and he escaped.
The king of Syria was heartbroken and sent a strong force with horses and chariots to arrest the prophet Elisha.

Early in the morning, when the servant of the man of God got up and went out; he saw a troop surrounded the city, with horses and chariots. He then said to the man of God:
« Oh, my lord, what shall we do? »
Elisha replied:
« Don’t be afraid, those who are with us are more than those who are with them. » (2 Kings 6:16)

As this servant understood nothing, Elisha prayed, and said, « O LORD, open his eyes so he may see. » And the Lord opened the eyes of the servant, who saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Indeed, this is how our God protects his children even when they do not realize it, when they walk in the truth and are innocent.
Don’t be afraid therefore, if thou be righteous and walk in the truth, for His glory God will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.(Psalms 91:11)

Our Father who art in heaven, help us to always walk in the truth.

Alors que les syriens avaient tendu une ambuscade au roi d’Israël à un certain lieu, l’homme de Dieu Élisée lui en prévint et il échappa ainsi.
Le roi de Syrie en eut le coeur agité et envoya une forte troupe avec des chevaux et des chars pour arrêter le prophète Élisée.

Au bon matin, lorsque le serviteur de l’homme de Dieu se leva et sortit; il vit une troupe entourait la ville, avec des chevaux et des chars. Il dit alors à l’homme de Dieu:
« Ah! mon seigneur, comment ferons-nous? »
Élisée lui répondit:
« Ne crains point, car ceux qui sont avec nous sont en plus grand nombre que ceux qui sont avec eux. »(2 Rois 6:16)

Comme ce serviteur ne comprenait rien, Élisée pria, et dit: « Éternel, ouvre ses yeux, pour qu’il voie. » Et l’Éternel ouvrit les yeux du serviteur, qui vit la montagne pleine de chevaux et de chars de feu autour d’Élisée.

En effet, c’est ainsi que notre Dieu protège ses enfants même quand ils ne s’en rendent pas compte, lorsqu’ils marchent dans la vérité et sont innocents.
Ne crains donc point, si tu es juste et que tu marches dans la vérité, pour sa gloire, Dieu ordonnera à ses anges de te garder dans toutes tes voies.(Psaumes 91:11)

Notre Père qui es aux cieux, aidez-nous à toujours marcher dans la vérité.

Haman had long persecuted the Jews.
After his death, all the letters he had published with the object of destroying the Jews on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, were revoked. The king issued further letters and an edict authorizing the Jews to assemble, defend themselves, and take revenge against their enemies.

« On the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, the edict commanded by the king was to be carried out. On this day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them. »(Esther 9:1)

This fateful day was a great victory for the Jews.
The Jews killed 75,000 of their enemies in the provinces. The ten sons of Haman were also killed.
That’s how things turned out.
Although our enemies wish us evil, plot and plan evil against us, God cannot let them.
Because of his righteousness and for his glory, God brings about the opposite of what they wish for us or plan against us.
Praise his name!

Haman avait longtemps persécuté les juifs.
Après sa mort, toutes les lettres qu’il avait publiées dans le but de faire périr les Juifs au treizième jour du douzième mois, furent révoquées. Le roi fit publier d’autres lettres et un édit autorisant les juifs de se rassembler, de se défendre et de se venger contre leurs ennemis .

« Au douzième mois, qui est le mois d’Adar, le treizième jour du mois, jour où devaient s’exécuter l’ordre et l’édit du roi, et où les ennemis des Juifs avaient espéré dominer sur eux, ce fut le contraire qui arriva, et les Juifs dominèrent sur leurs ennemis. »(Esther 9:1)

Ce jour fatidique fut d’une grande victoire pour les juifs.
Les juifs tuèrent 75000 parmis leurs ennemis dans les provinces. Les dix fils d’Haman furent aussi tués.
C’est ainsi que les choses tournèrent.
Quoique nos ennemis nous souhaitent le mal, complotent et planifient le mal contre nous, Dieu ne peut pas les laisser faire.
À cause de sa droite et pour faire éclater sa gloire, Dieu fait arriver le contraire de ce qu’ils nous souhaitent ou planifient contre nous.
Que son nom soit loué !

Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous de faire confiance en votre droiture.

Certain situations, certain circumstances, certain challenges and certain problems are before us like mountains that we must overcome in order to be able to see what God wants to show us or to possess what God wants to give us.

But, the psalmist tells us that:
« The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth. »(Psalm 97:5)

It’s true, before the power of God, nothing can stand.
If we entrust our cares, our anxieties, our worries and our fears to the Eternal our God, He does not remain indifferent.
Because of his love for us, motivated by our faith and trust in him, our God uses his power to melt down all these « mountains » that block our growth and our access to happiness.
Let us therefore have confidence in Him, place Him in front of everything that forms a mountain against us and let Him act.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, look at all that mounts up against us and melt it.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

Certaines situations, certaines circonstances, certains défis et certains problèmes sont devant nous comme des montagnes que nous devons surmonter pour pouvoir voir ce que Dieu veut nous montrer ou posséder ce que Dieu veut nous donner.

Mais, le psalmiste nous dit que:
« Les montagnes se fondent comme la cire devant l’Éternel, Devant le Seigneur de toute la terre. »(Psaume 97:5)

C’est vrai, devant la puissance de Dieu, rien ne peut tenir.
Si nous confions nos soucis, nos anxiétés, nos inquiétudes et nos peurs à l’Éternel notre Dieu, Il ne reste pas insensible.
À cause de son amour pour nous, motivé par notre foi et notre confiance en Lui, notre Dieu use de sa puissance pour fondre toutes ces « montagnes » qui bloquent notre épanouissement et notre accès au bonheur.
Ayons donc confiance en Lui, plaçons-Lui devant tout ce qui se constitue en montagne contre nous et laissons-Lui agir.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, regardez tout ce qui se constitue en montagne contre nous et faites-le fondre.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

I’m sure you know the story of a young shepherd boy named David who stood up against the horrible bully of a giant named Goliath and defeated him. I want you to know that this can also be your story and your testimony.

David said to the Philistine giant:
« You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty… »(1 Samuel 17:45-47)

Are there any threatening giants in your life?
No matter what your giant is today, it may be a marital problem, a financial situation, or a family problem, if you decide to walk in the name of the LORD Almighty, your giant will absolutely fall.

To walk in the name of the Lord is to seek the glory of the Lord in all that you do.
If it is for the name of the Lord to be glorified and not your own, that you undertake to fight the giants who threaten you in your life, God will surely help you to get rid of them, whatever your weaknesses or your insignificant means.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, give us the strength to overcome all the giants that threaten us in our life.

Je suis sûr que vous connaissez l’histoire d’un jeune berger nommé David qui s’est opposé à l’horrible brute d’un géant nommé Goliath et l’a vaincu. Je veux que vous sachiez que cela peut aussi être votre histoire et votre témoignage.

David a dit au géant Philistin:
« Tu marches contre moi avec l’épée, la lance et le javelot; et moi, je marche contre toi au nom de l’Éternel des armées… »(1 Samuel 17:45-47)

Y a-t-il des géants qui vous menacent dans votre vie ?
Peu importe ce que votre géant est aujourd’hui, il peut s’agir d’un problème conjugal, d’une situation financière, ou d’un problème familial, si vous décidez de marcher au nom de l’Éternel des armées, votre géant tombera absolument.

Marcher au nom de l’Éternel, c’est rechercher la gloire de l’Éternel en tout ce que vous faites.
Si c’est pour que le nom de l’Éternel soit glorifié et non pas le vôtre, que vous vous engagez à combattre les géants qui vous menacent dans votre vie, Dieu vous aidera sûrement à vous en débarrasser quels que soient vos faiblesses ou vos moyens insignifiants.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, donnez-nous la force de vaincre tous les géants qui nous menacent dans notre vie.

The Bible warns us against things that may seem good to us, or good at the time, but whose result is death, failure, hardship, in short, ending in disaster.

« There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. »(Proverbs 14:12)

We make bad choices because either we have false prejudices, or we lack sufficient and useful informations, or because our emotions have deceived us.
To avoid making bad choices, we must:
-Take the time to analyze with our logic by listing the advantages and disadvantages of a difficult decision,
-Ask for opinions and advice from people we believe to be wiser or more experienced than us,
-Pray and ask for the light of the Holy Spirit to enlighten our choices.

PRAYER:
Our Father who art in heaven, assist us in making our life decisions.

La Bible nous met en garde contre des choses qui peuvent nous paraitre bien, ou bonnes sur le coup mais dont le résultat est la mort, l’échec, la galère, bref qui se terminent en catastrophe.

« Telle voie paraît droite à un homme, Mais son issue, c’est la voie de la mort. »(Proverbes 14:12)

Nous faisons de mauvais choix parce que, soit nous avons de faux préjugés, soit nous manquons d’informations suffisantes et utiles, ou encore parce que nos émotions nous ont trompés.
Pour éviter de faire de mauvais choix, nous devons:
-Prendre le temps d’analyser avec notre logique en listant les avantages et les inconvénients d’une décision difficile,
-Demander des avis et des conseils à des personnes que nous estimons être plus sages ou plus expérimentés que nous,
-Prier et demander la lumière du Saint Esprit afin d’éclairer nos choix.

PRIÈRE:
Notre Père qui es aux cieux, assistez-nous dans la prise de nos décisions pour la vie.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.
