Lorsque Dieu nous élève, c’est toujours pour sa gloire et non pas pour la notre.
Nous devons être humbles et réaliser que toute gloire appartient à Dieu.

« Lorsqu’il(Ozias) fut devenu puissant, son coeur s’éleva jusqu’à la ruine… »*(2 Chroniques 26:16)

Ozias fut sacré roi à l’âge de 16 ans.
Pendant de nombreuses années, il avait suivi Dieu; et chemin faisant, Dieu lui a accordé un succès énorme (2 Ch 26:4,5).
En revanche, les choses ont changé lorsque «sa renommée s’étendit au loin, car il fut merveilleusement soutenu jusqu’à ce qu’il soit devenu puissant.
Mais lorsqu’il fut puissant, son cœur s’éleva pour le perdre» (versets 15,16):
Ozias a osé entrer dans le temple du Seigneur pour brûler des parfums sur l’autel (v. 16), s’opposant ainsi ouvertement au décret divin.
Il se peut que l’orgueil l’ait convaincu que les règles de Dieu s’appliquaient à tout le monde, sauf à lui.
Quand Ozias s’est mis en colère contre les sacrificateurs courageux qui s’opposèrent à lui et le réprimandèrent et lui dirent: »Tu n’as pas le droit, Ozias, d’offrir des parfums à l`Éternel! Ce droit appartient aux sacrificateurs, fils d’Aaron, qui ont été consacrés pour les offrir; Sors du sanctuaire, car tu commets un péché! Et cela ne tournera pas à ton honneur devant l`Éternel Dieu », le Seigneur l’a frappé de la lèpre (v. 18-20).
Sachons que lorsque Dieu nous élève, c’est pour sa gloire et non pas pour la notre.
Si nous nous élevons nous-mêmes, et commençons à Lui prendre sa gloire, nous péchons sans le savoir, parce que nous désobéissons au Seigneur de Gloire.
Nous devons vivre avec le Seigneur et le servir avec un cœur humble.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, donnez-nous de toujours nous rappeler que vous ne nous élevez que pour votre gloire.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jésus-Christ que nous prions, Amen.

Uziya yimitswe kuba umwami afite imyaka 16.
Yari yabayeho yubaha Imana; akora ibishimwa n’Uwiteka, nk’ibyo se Amasiya yakoraga byose, Imana nayo imuha umugisha (2 Ingoma 26:4,5). Hashize igihe, ibintu byarahindutse, amaze kubona ko yamamaye, kuko yari ashyigikiwe bitangaje kugeza abaye umunyembaraga, ariyogeza mu mutima we, bituma akora ibyo gukiranirwa acumura ku Uwiteka Imana ye(imirongo ya 15 na 16):
Uziya yatinyutse kwinjira mu rusengero rw’Uwiteka akosereza imibavu ku cyotero cy’imibavu. (umurongo wa 16), bityo aba arwanyije ku mugaragaro itegeko ry’Imana.
Birashoboka ko ubwibone bwaba bwaramuteye gutekereza ko amategeko y’Imana akurikizwa kuri buri wese uretse we gusa.
Uziya amaze kurakarira abatambyi bamucyaha, kubera bamubwiye bati: “Yewe Uziya we, ibyo ukora si umurimo wawe kosereza Uwiteka imibavu, ahubwo ni uw’abatambyi bene Aroni berejwe kosa imibavu; aha Hera uhave kuko warengereye, kandi ntibizaguhesha icyubahiro kivuye ku Uwiteka Imana”, Uwiteka yahise amuteza ibibembe (imirongo ya 18 na 20).
Uziya yagiye abona ibibembe bisesa kuva mu ruhanga rwe bikwira n’umubiri wose.

Reka tumenye rero ko iyo Imana idushyize hejuru, haba ari kubw’icyubahiro cyayo, ntabwo haba ari kubw’icyubahiro cyacu.
Iyo naho duhise twishyira hejuru, tugatangira kwiheshya icyubahiro cyayo, tuba turiko turacumura tutabizi, kuko tuba turiko turababaza Imana yo NYIR’ICYUBAHIRO.
Tugomba kubana n’Uwiteka Imana yacu dufite umutima uciye bugufi.

Uwiteka Mwami Mana yacu, duhe guhora twibuka ko udushyira hejuru kubw’icyubahiro cyawe gusa.

Uziya yubahutse kwinjira mu rusengero rw’Uhoraho ngo yosereze imibavu ku gicaniro ihora yoserezwako kandi atabirekuriwe(umurongo wa 16), bityo aba arwanyije ku mugaragaro itegeko ry’Imana.
Birashoboka ko ari ubwibone bwoba bwaramutumye yibaza ko amategeko y’Imana akurikizwa na bose kiretse we gusa!
Ariko Uziya amaze kurakarira abaherezi kubera bamuhanuye bakamubgira bat’ Ewe Uziya, s’igikorwa cawe kwosereza Uhoraho imibavu, n’ic’ abaherezi bo mu ba Aroni barobanuriwe kwama bayosa, bat’enda va aha hantu hera, kuk’ ucumuye, kand’ivyo nta cubahiro bizoguhesha kivuye k’Uhoraho Imana, yagiye abona imibembe isheshe kuva mu ruhanga rwiwe ikwira n’umubiri wose(imirongo ya 18-20).

Whatever you do, make sure you’re not a murderer in the eyes of God.

The word of God says that:
« Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you are well aware that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him. »(1 John 3:15)

Indeed, whatever your devotion to the church, your prayers, your offerings and your tithes, as long as you hate even one person, be aware that you are a murderer and you displease God.
You cannot claim that you love God if you hate a creature that God made in his image.
In other words, you are deceiving yourself and you hate God Himself.
You must then strongly pray that God would help you to eradicate this hatred from your heart and to put his love there.

PRAYER:
Lord our God, help us to eradicate hatred from our hearts and give us to forgive and to love.
It is in the precious name of your son Jesus Christ that we pray.
Amen.

Quoique vous fassiez, assurez-vous de ne pas être un meurtrier aux yeux de Dieu.

La Bible dit que:
« Quiconque hait son frère est un meurtrier, et vous savez qu’aucun meurtrier n’a la vie éternelle demeurant en lui. »(1 Jean 3:15)

En effet, quelle que soit votre devouement à l’eglise, vos prières, vos offrandes et vos dîmes, aussi longtemps que vous haïssez même une seule personne, sachez que vous êtes un meurtrier et que vous deplaisez Dieu.
Vous ne pouvez pas prétendre que vous aimez Dieu si vous haïssez une créature que Dieu a fait en son image.
En d’autres mots, vous vous trompez et vous haïssez Dieu Lui-même.
Vous devez alors fortement prier pour que Dieu vous aide à extirper de votre coeur cette haine et à y mettre son amour.

PRIÈRE:
Seigneur notre Dieu, aidez-nous à extirper de nos coeurs la haine et donnez-nous de pouvoir pardonner et aimer.
C’est dans le nom précieux de votre fils Jesus-Christ que nous prions.
Amen.
