Do you want to know a man?
Give him money.
Money does not change the heart — it reveals it.
It brings out what was hidden deep inside.
When someone receives money, all hidden attitudes come to light: pride, arrogance, harshness, immorality, contempt, selfishness, and many others.
Money exposes everything the person was hiding behind apparent humility.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
(Matthew 6:21)
Money is a spiritual test.
It reveals our priorities and motives.
Judas chose it over Jesus.
Ananias and Sapphira lied because of it.
But Zacchaeus, touched by grace, used it to make things right.
“The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10)
Money is not a curse, but a mirror.
It shows what we truly love
and reveals whether God truly reigns in our hearts.
“Whoever is faithful in little is faithful also in much.” (Luke 16:10)
God does not look at what we own, but at how we use what He has entrusted to us.
The real treasure is not in our hands, but in a pure and faithful heart.
PRAYER:
Lord, Keep my heart pure toward money.
Help me be faithful, humble, and generous.
You alone are my true treasure.
Amen.
