The Bible warns us that Satan is a thief.
Jesus said:
“The thief does not come, except so that he may steal and slaughter and destroy.”
John 10:10
A thief does not ask for permission to enter.
He looks for an open door or an easy way in.
Satan also looks for open doors or weak points through which he can enter our lives:
He uses division to steal our unity.
He uses anger to steal our peace.
He uses discouragement to steal our joy.
He takes advantage of negligence or distraction to destroy what we have built.
He also uses sin to separate us from God.
DO NOT SLEEP SPIRITUALLY!
Stay vigilant.
Remain alert.
Pray.
Guard your hearts.
Do not allow the enemy to find an entrance into our lives and steal what God has given us.
Everything God has entrusted to us deserves to be protected:
Our faith.
Our family.
Our peace.
Our unity.
Our calling.
Our testimony.
“Be sober and vigilant. For your adversary, the devil, is like a roaring lion, traveling around and seeking those whom he might devour.”
1 Peter 5:8
BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT !
PRAYER:
Lord, give us discernment to recognize the ways the enemy is seeking to enter our lives, and give us the wisdom to close those doors. Amen.
Shalom!
